Buffalo scheduled for Saturday 8:15 pm game

I remember a Miami/Buffalo playoff game in 1990 at Rich Stadium that was played on a cold snowy day and both teams lit up the scoreboard throwing the football. -
Buffalo scheduled for Saturday 8:15 pm game

I just looked up the Weather Channels forecast for Orchard Park that night and it says snow showers with temperatures in the upper 20's and winds around 10 mph. Now of course this will change but they aren't calling for snow and 30 mph winds. At least not at the Weather Channel. -
I can't remember a game where an offense had such lousy field position for an entire half.

Here's the issue for Baltimore: will 20 points beat KC or the Bills? I don't think so. TN has a bad D and the TN offense couldn't get Henry lose and couldn't dominate TOP. So just like Bills fans are nervous about our D, Ravens fans should be worried about their offense. BTW, I like Lamar. Seems like a good dude.

When TN was up 10 - 0 no one wanted to play the Titans next week. Then the Ravens roar back and now no one wants to play them. Every team left in the AFC playoffs can beat Buffalo and the Bills could return the favor. Baltimore was every bit as hot as the Bills going into playoffs and here they are early in the 4th quarter only up 17 - 13. These AFC playoff games have been dogfights.

What made the Colts so dangerous was that they combined an offense that matched up well with our D with a D that could make us work for points. Among the rest of the AFC crowd I don't see anything that approaches this. Pitt has a good D but their O isn't going to match Indy's Baltimore, Cleveland & TN all have D's that our O can exploit. And KC would never stoop to letting the clock run down to minus one second on every play. It's not in their DNA. If we play them, the Chiefs wills say "so you want a track meet, we'll be happy to give you a track meet - ready, set, GO". Indy truly was our most frustrating opponent on the AFC side.

Allen checks off the final box vs Colts
CincyBillsFan replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As others have pointed out I suspect the reason the ref didn't blow the whistle for forward progress on Allen's sack was that he knew Allen had escaped from just that type of tackle before. Those that never want to see this type of play should just own up to wanting to see Orton or Tyrod back there. But I want my QB AGGRESSIVE and given how aggressive Allen is EVERY time he plays his number of turnovers is surprisingly low. As far as the opinions of internet nitwits across the USA goes what are they saying about Russel Wilson's game yesterday? Was that a four quarters of "bad Russ"? -
Bucs/WFTeam Playoff Game- 8:15 EST

Wildcard playoff games are wild and completely unpredictable. Who would have thought that the Redskins would be within one score late in the 4th quarter? Or who would have thought that the Rams playing with a QB without a thumb would win by 10 points? If the Bucs make a mistake we may be the only team favored to win that actually wins. -

If either of those two hits had happened to Brady it would have been a roughing the passer penalty. -

If the refs are going to cheat to help Brady and the Bucs at least try to hide it. And lets face facts conspiracy fans there is no way the NFL wants a team with a losing record advancing. -
Playoff Game Postgame Thread
CincyBillsFan replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He got sacked. It happens. Frankly the play should have been blown dead before the fumble but different QB's get different whistles in these situations. And the problem was that with a first down at the Colts 38 late in the game we couldn't execute a normal running game like most teams can. That we were looking for a deep shot on that play is a problem. I'm all for kill shots but having to keep throwing with the lead in the 4th quarter is risky.
