Do you watch any football besides the Bills? Allen was very good, even great tonight. The D was to soft and our average O-line and mediocre stable of RB's came back to haunt us. We must be one of the only teams in the NFL that can't execute a screen pass.

I disagree. You're not going to score on every possession. The deep strikes made sense given how banged up the Titans secondary was. IMO Allen and the receivers were magnificent tonight - 31 points should have been enough against the Titans. We were within inches of winning this game thanks to Allen/WR's. The problem is that our O - line and RB's are average. And as good as the defensive scheme against KC was the scheme tonight was terrible. NO pressure on the Titans QB allowing them to convert 3rd & long all night long.

This is as weird and disheartening a loss as the Hail Murray pass last year before the by week. I loved that we went for the win but I hated the play call. We had struggled to handle their interior D line all night. The QB sneak was a long shot IMO.

I would have no problem with Allen winning two Super Bowls and losing three other Super Bowls with the Bills.

And folks shouldn't judge Baker by his stats only. Last week he put up good numbers but when the game was on the line the Browns clearly did not put the ball in his hands for those last two critical possessions. This was in contrast to the Bills putting the ball in Allen's hands to lock up the win on that 92 yard drive in the 4th quarter against KC. And a great example of how Mayfield's stats are misleading: today in a 37 - 14 loss in which the Brown's fell behind 20 - 0, he was 19/28 for 234 yards, 2 TD's and 1 INT for a QB rating of 102.4! Talk about stats not reflecting reality. Then throw in baker's 2 lost fumbles and he played very poorly today though at the end of the year the stat line won't show it.

A lot of games today have seen a lot of yellow flags. The NFL has to fix this.

Today has seen some awful play. In this game, while leading 21 - 20 NE throws a pick six with less then 3 minutes left in the game. Then on the very next snap, the Cowboys allow the QB to throw a 75 yard TD to take back the lead.

The idiot Cowboy coach goes for it on 4th down from his own 35 but not there? Oh, now I see what the plan was - a pick six!

If he was free I agree. But for the Texans to agree to trade him within the conference Miami will have to pay a very steep price. This is why I think the Panthers and Eagles are the options the Texans would consider first.

The Dolphins issues go way beyond QB. This is a bad football team and paying a kings ransom for Watkins won't solve the problem.

It was almost 4th & 3 near midfield. If the Eagles get another PI call this game could get real interesting.

How long does it take these morons to make the call. The NFL has a real problem and it isn't John Grudan. It's the incompetent officiating. And while they probably got the call right it took way to long.

I expected the Bills to lose to the Chiefs (potentially by a lopsided score) and then rebound and beat the Titans. The Chiefs lost two games to two very good teams by a TD or less. In fact in both games the Chiefs could have and probably should have won. I figured KC was like a lot of Super Bowl teams being a bit unfocused in trying to get back to the big game. See Tampa Bay this year. I assumed that at home against the team people were claiming would beat the Chiefs out in the AFC the defending AFC champs would play a great game. It makes our thumping of KC all the more impressive IMO. The Titans on the other hand haven't looked as solid as the Chiefs in their wins and losses. They were blown out by Arizona and then beaten by the Jets. With a bye coming up and the bitter taste from last years loss still in their mouths, I expect the Bill's to be focused in on this game. I see them taking it by two scores.

I just watched a highlight video of the game and the holding call on Morse is even worse then we thought. They show the Allen run and you don't see the flag fly into the picture until it's obvious that Allen will make the first down. If I was the NFL I would be concerned at the timing of that flag. If the ref thought Morse held on that play then the time to throw the flag was when Morse was locked up with the KC player and before Allen broke the pocket and took off. Of course the replay clearly showed there was no hold at that point. Why Collinsworth said what he said can only be put down to incompetence on his part or malice against the Bills as he was rooting for the Chiefs. Al Micheal's grunts on seeing the replay were a pretty clear rebuke to Collinsworth's bizarre comment.

At the stadium I'm always careful not to use foul language because of the all the kids/families around. I try to use creative alternatives that allow me to vent but not upset parents. A few years ago while watching the Bills play down here in Cincinnati I called a ref, who made a terrible call, a "nincompoop". A mom turned around laughing and said she hadn't heard that one in decades. Other "curses" I use while AT the stadiums are: Nitwit, dingbat, cockroach, incompetent, corrupt and apparatchik. As you can guess almost all of my comments are aimed at the refs. At home it's a completely different matter as the kids are out of the house. In that environment I swear up a storm. The only exception is if I'm watching the game with the grand kids then I default to my stadium vocabulary.

The focus by every defense so far has been to shut Diggs down. They're willing to let Beasley nickle & dime them but they want to eliminate the big play and those 15 - 20 yard shots to Diggs. But with the emergence of Sanders & Knox as big play guys opposing defenses are going to have to ease off Diggs a bit. Mark my words, big games are in the future for #14. As an aside didn't Diggs get off to a bit of a slow start last season even when Allen was throwing for all those yards?

I think the opposite will happen. People are already questioning the slavish worship of percent completion. This is a stat that IMO is greatly overrated. An elite QB should be able to adjust his game to do two things: Complete a high percentage of his passes when game conditions and the defense dictate it and hit big plays downfield, with a lower completion average, when a defense is selling out in their blitz package. Against Washington & Houston Allen competed over 70% of his passes in bad weather. Against the Chiefs he blew them up with big down field strikes.

I agree with this. Lamar Jackson is so unconventional as an NFL QB operating out of a unique offensive scheme that you have to put him on an island when evaluating QB's. He has been incredibly productive running this offense and his passing, while unconventional, has been spectacular at times. That what the ravens are doing has been successful - to a point - is indisputable. But the bigger questions looming for the Ravens can not be ignored here: * How long can Jackson go before the body takes a beating that slows him down? Sure he is magical at avoiding hits but last night he did take shots to the legs. Does anyone believe he's on course to last 5 more years? * The Ravens failures in the playoffs can not be brushed over. Jackson has been bad to average in these games. Baltimore is 1 - 3 despite having two home games (both they lost). * Because of the way he plays Jackson can be careless with the ball. The only reason his goal line fumble didn't spell doom last night was that the Colts lost their entire starting defensive backfield. Going pack to the pick 6 against Buffalo, two fumbles against the Raiders that cost the Ravens that game; a pick six against the chiefs and last nights fumble Jackson plays the game like a high wire act. Baltimore faces a daunting challenge in how to structure Jackson's next deal. If hey don't give him an Allen type deal he might walk. If they sign him to the big bucks are we sure he will last 6 more years playing at this elite level? And given the uniqueness of the Ravens offense does an Allen like contract for Jackson mean that the Ravens are locked into Harbaugh & Roman for 6 more years? My guess is that the Ravens will follow the Cowboys example and string Jackson along with Franchise designations. It will cost them more but they will avoid a long term deal for the next couple of years. And Jackson will make his money which only seems fair given his play.

But last second wins against Detroit and Indy, two teams with a combined record of 1 - 9, also says something. The fact is that the Ravens are 1 - 3 in the playoffs with Jackson and they haven't played well on offense in any of those playoff games.
