  1. Time to switch to Gillette blades. For the best shave a man like Josh Allen can get.
  2. You got to friggin kidding me. The Vikes play down and long distance like we do.
  3. ....and that is what happens when you stay aggressive on 3rd and long. Force the quick throw or knock that QB silly if he holds it.
  4. MN is playing not to lose. That end around by NY should have been a hold on the MN End.
  5. Williams not moving his arm... dislocation? Collar bone? Having a breakout year... this could be huge. Not wishing injury on him, but he was wrecking the middle of our line.
  6. Yeah, almost his whole body was over the goal line... you have to assume the ball was still attached
  7. The Jets OC Mike Lafleur is the brother of GB's Matt Lafleur... I am sure GB shared some notes on how they were able to counter Dorsey's schemes and Josh. We just caught them before we had enough time to come up with the right adjustments and their QB had a hot hand that day. It happens, but I still think the Jets have a good defense, but are very beatable if their offense cannot generate points and you don't set them up with turnovers.
  8. Used to Detroit just imploding and playing like crap. Not that they did not have talent at positions, but they never seemed to have a team on the same page with a solid game plan. They have a better HC who has cleaned up a lot of the self-inflicted nonsense, got them on the same page, and they play hard for him. Good for them.
  9. I hope they do. Ever since GBs defense gave us fits there have been a lot of copy cats out there. If the 49ers come up with a great scheme to shut down Hill and Waddle, we can probably adapt that to our game with them. If anyone knows McDaniels' scheme and tendencies it would be the Niners staff. We will see.
  10. I am not sure MN used the clock as well as they could have that series before kicking their FG and giving the ball back. Could not drain a minute and change off the clock? One thing the Bills have done well is capitalizing on what little time is left on the clock in the 1st half and doing a bit better preserving the lead in the 2nd half lately. There was a few series against these same MN Vikings where we had the lead and Dorsey came out in the 3rd passing and we were pitching 3 and outs. Got a lot of criticism for that, and that could have been managed better.... I get staying aggressive, but you have to balance that with being smart and strategically sound defending a lead. The same goes for defense where Frazier's worst moments seem to be when he drifts too far into positioning our defense to play on their heals defending down and long distance or defending a lead. In those instances I think we take away something that is working and substitute something that may not. Its a theory.
  11. Truth. Not sure what game their coach is watching. Pin them deep and escape to make adjustments.
  12. White has a slow exaggerated throwing motion and seems to lose a lot of accuracy beyond the 10-15 yard passes. Some get there on schedule, but a lot don't especially when he has to throw on the move climbing the pocket or scrambling. Hope they stick with him for the duration.
  13. You can run on the Jets apparently... at least the Vikes have found some success in those C and D gaps. That one draw they ran with Cook was a long gainer too.
  14. Viking fans all sitting properly and behaving themselves like stoic mid west folk then the camera pans to Jets fans like THOSE drunk guys who wandered into a formal affair.
  15. Huh? So you think Jefferson had time to defend himself - grit his teeth?
  16. Was not a whole lot different from Hamlin's hit other than the receiver did not duck into it. Jefferson turned and the safety clearly was leading with the helmet to his helmet. Does not matter if I agree with the rule, just does not make sense for one to end up as an ejection and the other not so much. If Jefferson wobbled and stayed on the ground does that change the ruling?
  17. I know right? They gave MN a few feet and left him in the game. No matter MN remembered they had Cook in the backfield.
  18. Was trying to find all the holds on that flagged play... I lost count. That Jets secondary is REALLY good. 😁
  19. I know Cook gets them down there then it is pass, pass.... nada. Jets corners are really good too - hate that they seem to have nailed it on both corners. They are doing a good job against Jeffereson.
  20. OK.... so MN has not forgotten they have Cook in the backfield
  21. Jets defensive line is going to get to Cousins a lot today me thinks. Especially with those longer routes MN seeoms to be trying to scheme up and a backup LT. It feels like watching the Bills, a great go-to receiver, a suspect OL in pass pro, and they don't really lean Cook that much to force changes in the defensive approach. That DL they have pulled together is tough.
  22. True. Was just thinking Allen with the national spot light and it is a different era with social media. There still space left in those shoes to fill.
