  1. More like Bollywood. Just over the top ridiculous action, explosions, and dramatics.
  2. Josh Allen is already in midseason form breaking long standing NFL records.
  3. I have to have a hard disagree with this one. I love the physicality Shakir brings after the catch. He even had a nice run up the middle.
  4. Also wanted to point out something on the series where Allen slid. I didn’t realize that on a slide, the spot is where the ball is located when the first body part touches the ground. This would’ve put Allen a full yard passed the line to gain. Also, the Bills got called for holding afterwards going from what *should’ve been a first down* and putting them at 3rd & 11 leading to a sack then a punt on 4th down. They got robbed out of possession at midfield.
  5. Refs definitely will always have a place, but you’re right. It’s time to let technology handle certain things. Most importantly, the spot of the ball. Put a chip in there and be done with it. It’s not just because the Bills got shafted. I wouldn’t want my team to win on a terrible spot either.
  6. If you’re going to be a terrible ref then at least be equally terrible to both teams.
  7. Is it me or were they continuously shorting the Bills on the spot of the ball ? The biggest one that comes to mind is when Josh slid directly on top of the marker and the referees decide to spot the ball a full yard behind it. There was another really bad one in the Red Zone as well. I feel like this is becoming a trend since Kansas City last year. Having headquarters in New York quickly change the spot seems like an easy fix. In a game of INCHES, I feel like the NFL should put more emphasis on this problem.
  8. I wish he would read the game threads. Absolutely no faith whatsoever. Fans were chalking this up as a loss before half time. Totally bizarre
  9. Great start, but sooooo much can happen during that time. There are really endless possibilities of what could go wrong (or right.) Fans are left with more questions than answers after one of the crazier first weeks in a while.
  10. How bout big Ed Oliver slamming Henry to the ground like a rag doll. That was not something I expected
  11. Maybe don’t touch someone without their permission? I have been extremely impressed by Lamar Jackson since the moment he came in the league. If you want to see his true character, see how he handled the loss last year against the Bills and the way he approached Josh. He is anything but a sore loser.
  12. Thank you. Bass has been great since he went wide right against the Chiefs. He looks like a nervous wreck, but the results speak for themselves. Let’s not forget the walk off 61 yarder against the Dolphins ! People are so quick to turn on a player.
  13. Yeah and teams do this crap all the time. Stop playing the defense that has been successful and start playing soft to chew clock. Ravens fans have to be livid
  14. Absolutely bizarre strategy by the Ravens. I would’ve thought they bring the house, but I guess they prefer to get diced up methodically.
  15. I’m enjoying the win as much as I can, but the defense left a lot to be desired. I’m hoping it’s week 1 jitters.
  16. I get the frustration and I’m not talking about you, but the negativity is just overwhelming on the game day thread. I made a comment how the Ravens might’ve messed up by scoring too quickly and leaving Allen too much time. Immediately, I get piled on I guess for being too optimistic? It’s common knowledge to combat elite QBs by keeping them off the field via time consuming drives/ TOP battle. Sure enough that’s exactly what happened and Buffalo came back w/ quick scores of their own. They even had enough time to kneel down and run the clock out.
  17. Exactly. You aren’t going to stop Lamar, but you can contain him. Eventually something bad will happen. I got flamed for this in the game thread, but I said the Ravens screwed themselves by scoring too quickly and I was right. It gave the Bills ample time to engineer a comeback and force a turnover. Ravens should’ve played the long game and kept Allen off the field, but they thought their weapon was better than ours.
  18. Terrible Fing spot by the refs per usual. They Fing suck. Now holding call after they gaffed on the spot
  19. what a disrespect to a great offense to allow the opposing to team to drop 40+ on you in your own stadium ? What a joke. Someone needs to answer for this. I’m tired of getting gashed on these insane 3rd down plays. Contain, contain, contain. What were the DE’s doing tackling Lamar’s FEET ?!
  20. And just like that they are right back in the game with plenty of time to go. There’s a reason “time of possession” is a very important stat to coaches. You want long, time consuming drives against elite quarterbacks to keep them off the field, What’s not to understand?
  21. Too easy. edit: why bro? Why go for 2 when you don’t need it right away ?
  22. I mean it’s true. It would be better for them to take long time consuming drives to eat up the clock and close out the game faster
  23. “Brainless message board troll regurgitating a buzzword they heard on the internet, but doesn’t know the actual meaning of it”
  24. You can’t even blame the defense for that. It’s just undefendable. The only good thing is they are scoring quickly given the Bills plenty of time to get back into the game.
