Christian Wilkins released for kissing team mate
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t care if he’s the reincarnation of Warren Sapp. I don’t want this freaky guy within 100 feet of Buffalo or any school zone for that matter. I would not be the least bit surprised if he ends up getting in really bad trouble down the road. Yeah no definitely not the same reason… 😒 -
Kincaid most certainly will be in the NFL for the foreseeable future. The question is will he take his game to the next level like some of his counterparts? Even if he plateaus where he’s at right now, he’s still average production wise around the league.
-
At the CURRENT stage of their careers Knox is the better receiver, but that can change if Kincaid puts up better production and MAKES the tough catches. I fully believe that George Kittle or Brock Bowers would’ve came down w/ that one in KC. Speaking of Bowers, he is going to be the next HOF TE. I hope Kincaid can hit that level. Over 112 catches for 1100 yards receiving. Guy is a MONSTER and built identical to Kincaid.

Thanks for the write up. I always forget Knox was a 3rd rounder. He competes like a undrafted FA trying to hold onto the final roster spot. I really hope Joe Brady can get both Tight Ends on the field at the same time. Seems like a great idea on paper…

I’m one of the few that respect Jordan Philips game. I love the energy he brings and If schemed properly is still a pass rush threat. No offense to Carter, but he wasn’t looking like his career was going anywhere. Maybe that’s not fair, but you’re only useful if u can get on the field. That’s exactly the reason and this is why depth is even more important. You almost have to assume a couple big names will be injured come playoff time. It’s so important to not have a massive drop off in talent or you end up like Buffalo when Benford went down against the Chiefs.

As he should be. Any of the WRs can make a case for being Allen’s number 1 this year. No clear cut favorite has really separated themselves. Shakir to an extent has proved to be Allen’s trusted 3rd down option. I think last year was an anomaly. Rarely do you have a MVP QB without a 1000+ yard WR1. Somebody is going to break out and Coleman is going to be given every opportunity to do so.

The leagues substance policy has always been a joke. Completely backwards & archaic. Josh Gordon’s career ruined over Marijuana comes to mind first. I’ve always loved the way he played and I truly feel like fans were robbed of a special player. God forbid he doesn’t want to take the prescribed Oxycodone. Meanwhile, wife beaters & even murderers faced minimal repercussions because they happen to be legends. It never will make sense to me.
-
Most definitely worth a look, but it makes too much sense so you know it’s not going to happen.

I actually just found it on Reddit. The commentators are atrocious. When is the next time we’ll ever see a Tight End boom a 60+ yard punt ? They don’t even acknowledge it. 😆
-
Holy cow. The punt must’ve been extraordinary.

I had no idea Peyton Manning won the MVP 5 times. 😱 I usually hate moral victories, but Josh getting the MVP last year definitely eased the pain of losing a controversial game to the Chiefs.

Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah because he sure made a difference when the Bills played the Cowboys. A demon pass rusher, but just useless against the run. I would rather have a well-rounded elite player like TJ Watt or dare I say Joey Bosa (the league better take notice.) -
Playoff record, rule changes and the Bills

Why do people like you cherry pick your stats ? So you conveniently leave off the 2 time MVP the Bills beat TWICE ? Lmfao -
Playoff record, rule changes and the Bills

Mediocre teams don’t generally make the playoffs. Every team the Bills have beaten has double digit wins and more often than not earned their spot in the post-season. Why take that away from them? They play who they are supposed to play. -
The Safety or the WR ?
-
I disagree. You can argue about who had more success between the Jack Kemp-led 60s AFL teams or the 90s teams, but the Bills franchise as a whole IMO was at the height of their popularity in the early 90s. That’s a fact. Any semi-serious football fan can name 5-6 players from the 90s squad. I doubt people could name more than 2 players from the 60s other than Jack Kemp and possibly Cookie Gilchrist or Pete Gogolak if you’re into the history of modern NFL kicking.
-
They’re still better than those atrocious 2000s era ones. I call them the Trent Edwards uniforms. IDK why the Bills don’t bring back their most iconic jersey… the classic red & blue 90s version.

I’m hoping Maxwell Hairston is the guy. Beane desperately needs one of these first round CBs to hit. The Bills defense also needs some real speed. At 4.28 I really wish he could be used on special teams.

Allen vs Mahomes, is this a controversial take?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Another great irony I’ve noticed is generally Chiefs fans are the opposing fans who give Allen the most respect. I think because they know just how hard it is to beat Josh Allen. Kind of how I feel about the Ravens. People give Lamar crap, but that was the hardest fought most physical game the Bills have had in quite some time. And it was Lamar’s team who ultimately let him down (sound familiar?) -
I get your argument but this an extreme exaggeration

I am the biggest Josh Allen homer on the planet, but saying he is a better downfield passer than Mahomes is highly debatable. My only slight about Allen is his underwhelming deep ball % He HAS the power to sling it 70+ yards, but he uses his arm strength more so fitting the ball into tight windows. Mahomes on the other hand lost Tyreek Hill which certainly caused him to readjust his game. He is still better than Allen in that regard IMO Now I can list numerous things Josh is better at too… -
I mean they practice and travel with the team, do film work, etc. Some players on practice squad can be very important for simulating opposing players aka a scout team. Most importantly they are there to push the starters. On that note, I am excited to see what Shavers can do this year. I’m not sure if they get rings, but they should.
