  1. Is it too soon for a nickname for Leodis? "Lectric Leodis"? "McLovin"? "Zero Degrees McKelvin" because you have Absolute zero chance of catching him. I admit it, I'm lame today.
  2. And boom goes the dynamite...
  3. Then whiffed on a tackle behind the line.
  4. Didn't see a replay yet. He went into a pile behind the los and the ball came out.
  5. #25, hopefully he gets in next series.
  6. Well, not to generalize, but name me the last Michigan RB who was any good. Tyrone Wheatley, Tim Biakabatuka, Anthony Thomas. These guys were much higher drfat picks and were big busts. Hart was less physically gifted than all of them. I don't think we're going to regret that in the long run. Better to give a shot to a more gifted kid from a smaller school than to go with someobody because they are a name.
  7. Another fumble for Wright...
  8. This is illegal as hell and wonderful. :-)
  9. Week 1 I gave the edge to Omon, he showed more quickness and was solid in blitz pickups. They both fumbled the ball once so the pass pro gave Omon the dege for me. Lets see what happens tonight. Wright looks good right now.
  10. As per Tasker, knee injury
  11. And...boom goes the dynamite.
  12. I got Johnson with the first pick of round 4. Gore was the 3rd pick of round 2. I would have lost Moss, not Johnson.
  13. Here's mine from a 10 team draft on Friday. I picked 10th. QB - Matt Hasselbeck (Rd. 5) QB - Jay Cutler (Rd. 9) QB - Brett Favre (Rd. 14) RB - Marshawn Lynch (rd. 2) RB - Reggie Bush (Rd. 6) RB - Ronnie Brown (Rd. 8) RB - Deuce McAllister (Rd. 12) RB - Lamont Jordan (Mr Irrelevant, last pick of round 15) I think he's going to vulture TDs. WR - Braylon Edwards (rd. 3) WR - Andre Johnson (rd. 4) WR - Randy Moss (Rd. 1) WR - Calvin Johnson (rd 10) WR - Roscoe Parrish (return yards matter and Cribbs was gone) (Rd. 13) TE - Kellen Winslow (Rd. 7) DEF- Seattle (Rd. 11) I know I took too many WRs early but all the top flight backs were gone by the last pick of round 3 and there weren't any worthy of the last pick of round 1 except for maybre Frank Gore but I don't trust his health at all. I liked Moss and Lynch better. By the time the picks came back around there had been 16 RBs taken and only 5 WRs (including Devin Hester which is insane) so I like the quality of Edwards and Johnson to flank Moss better than say Brandon Jacobs.
  14. I got Favre with the first pick of round 14. I had the 10th spot in a 10 team league so I woud not have picked again until the last selection of the draft and I figured someone would take him in round 15. I just didn't draft a kicker. My ligic is that by week one I'll know what Favre is doing and if he's not playing I'll drop him for a kicker, no harm no foul BTW: With picks 10 and 11 I got Moss and Lynch.
  15. Well given that BP literally just got booted out of Russia I'd imagine they are looking for other options. NIMBYs are everywhere. There's a reason we havent increased refining capacity since the 70's. Envirnmental laws ar eone, NIMBYs are the other. This is what representative government is supposed to be for. Of course the people who live right near there will oppose the plant. But if it's in the best interests of the public at large the needs of the many are supposed to outweigh that. That got flipped aorund somewhere so that the needs of the few outweigh theneeds of the many, hence no refineries, no new nuclear palnts in 25 years, no drilling, no windmills, no solar farms. People don't want ANYTHING, it doens't matter what it is. At some point we need to just do it, do it as cleanly as reasoanbly possible and tell people to shut up about it. Especially in this case. They are expanding an existing plant which has been there forever. If you live near it it was probably there before you were and that was a bad move on your part.
  16. No I'm sorry, the traffic line is pretty close to true. I've been there quite a bit myself and the traffic out there and have been stuck in full on traffic jams at 5:30am on the 91 freeway, and I don't even want to discuss the hugetastic CF the I-5, I-10 intersection is. CA is a great place to visit, chalk me up as one of the, there are way too many freaking people there and way too many aggravations to balance out the nice weather, crowd. Gimmie Southern Chester County PA. I can see the stars at night, I'm within an hour of Philly, 20 minutes from the Chesapeake, within 40 minutes from the Inner Harbor in Baltimore and an hour and a half from DC. If I go the other direction I'm 20 minutes from Amish horses and buggies. LA doesn't have that. You either live on the fringe and it takes a million years to get to the other side, or you live in the middle someplace and you live with the pink glow of streetlights all night long. It snows about 20 inches a year, it doens't get super cold but there are 4 seasons. Spring is well entrenched by mid-March. It' doesn't get into triple digits often, and the humidity is better than DC and places south. I'm close enough to the shore to be able to enjoy it if I want to but far enough away that hurricanes aren't much of a concern. no wildfires, no earthquakes, no landslides, no flooding if you live on top of the hills which I do, no tsunamis, no smog, no CIG alerts and no crips, blood, Hiltons or Lohans.
  17. Well the Commissioner didn't see any on his way into work in Harrisburg so there must not be any. His vigorous study of his office supplies didn't reveal an overpopulation of deer in suburban Philadelphia either. He did find a couple bear to export to Pike County though... I bet you we could get them to do a Liger census if we went through the right channels.
  18. perhaps he was dictating?
  19. excellent call. I thought chicken, but your guess is much better. Now the question, is it Corey Feldman's love child?
  20. That is a chicken, plucked and rotting and bloaty...and flipping off the camera...nice.
  21. When did Chef's open at the airport?
  22. The Martian Perspective of Bills camp. They say they can see JP's thumb from there. It's huuuuuge. They also liked Brett Favre's little red tractor riding shorts.
  23. Dude, sold. Finances would NOT be an issue. Of course we lose a couple guys to malaria from the off-season treks to the Ivory Coast, but hey, she'd give us Brett Favre on her favorite things episode....
