  1. I think it's been longer then that since you've seen 3 minute shifts. Maybe for defensemen but not forwards.
  2. I'm going to puke. He filled in last year for Fletch and was replaced in the middle by Spikes the second half of the game because he played so bad. The few times before when he was put in the middle were even worse. This folks is not the answer. he is already always out of position and get manhandled on the outside, it is only going to get worse playing the middle when he has to shed a center/guard on very play. Not only that but his hang on for dear life and hope the guy finally go down isn't an endearing style for a MLB.
  3. No a loss, is a loss. Just because you get a tie for regulation time tie, doesn't make it a non-loss. If you want to consier them ties then you have to do the same for Ot/shootout wins, consider them ties as well.
  4. He was a RFA, so the Bills may have offered a contract that Detroit matched.
  5. What are you talking about? In the east alone there are only 7 teams that have above a .500 record. The OT column is a loss. While the team gets a point for a regulation tie, that column is really OTL which stand for overtime loss. In the west there are 9 teams at or above .500. So out of 30 teams that's 16 with above .500. Which statisically is within the norm. In fact from the NHL.com website: OT = OT/Shootout losses (worth one point)
  6. Simple reason is to help cut down on high school drinking. Whether effective or not I don;t know. But back when drinking age was 18, we never had problems locating a senior in HS and having him buy for us, if we just got him a 6 of genny cream. Now a days since there are no high schoolers that are 21, it is a lot more difficult to locate someone willing to buy.
  7. Actually according to Scouts, Dockery was #6. Maybe, just maybe the Bills just happened to overpay (or possibly he is moving to RT), and Diehlman got a hometown discount. 8. Champ Bailey would be an okay trade, I guess.
  9. Oh I see so basically you have no clue what you were saying when you said Mean what you say, and say what you mean.
  10. Whittles been in the league 10 years and is 32.
  11. Whittle isn't young. he's been around 10 seasons or so and is 32.
  12. Anybody have his address? Time to send him a pizza before the procedure. We just did this with a guy from work. He was pissed. Needless to say he told the doc and nurse what we did and they thought it was funny. He's got no sense of humor.
  13. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,255581,00.html Anyone know of any better pictures? I think I see some potential there.
  14. Look at it like you are being date raped by a machine. They give you some weird stuff and you don't remember a thing. Just remember to ask for lubrication.
  15. A friend is getting a springer from there in the summer. He's none too happy that it is now a crime to dock tails. Since the thing has a hairy tail and goes into the brush, etc.. to do it's job, they are normally docked. Yet England has now decided it is inhumane to dock any dogs tails. Yeah much better to have the ratters get it used as a bite point against them, or the hair flushers to get something else hung up.
  16. Japs. I thought the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
  17. You are assumming, that they are not joining when they are done with college. You know to be an officer it is kind of required. Maybe, just maybe they want to lead.
  18. Just remember it's kinky to use a feather to tickle her ass. It's only sick if you use the whole seagull.
  19. If we trade Willis it had better be for a position of need. That being MLB, G, or CB. You can then draft a RB in the 2nd or third along with a FA to carry the load until you get a stud RB next year.
  20. About as hard as a typical run play call. Especially if you are calling run type and hole. That is a lot to signal in, and have a player understand. That is why the NFl went to speakers in the QB's helmet, it was too much for them to understand.
  21. I'm calling BS on this story. Willis is "too stupid" or didn't want to learn the play book, yet he is "smart" enough to understand all of the hand signals being called in from the sideline?
  22. Blame Chaneys weather machine. BTW, why aren't you shooting people and stealing TV's from the Best Buy. I thought everyone did then when weather affects your area. Nagin told me so. Of course I haven't heard the government offering to bus us out either. Of course, I'll be able to get something real nice with that 5000 dollar visa card the feds will give me. Who knows maybe we'll get a free cruise too, thanks to FEMA.
  23. I was watching some earlier, this kid Stanton, also has an arm, quick release. Not sure where is is projected but of the group I say, he was the smoothest and easily the best of that group which included Smith from OSU. Leak also looked pretty damn good.
  24. And Calvin Johnson who wasn't going to run the 40, borrowed a pair of sneakers from a QB who had the same size, got no traction at the start, poor kick, and still ran and easy 4.35.
  25. What a wimp. Korab, Schoenfeld, Robert, Martin, Luce, etc... would have played throug ha cut on the forhead. What is it with these young guys?
