I've just spent 20 minutes reading the Jets gang green forum. It's actually quite funny. I'd say 99% of them are wildly overconfident. Picking your team to win is one thing but some of the comments verge on arrogance. You'd think they were the Patriots. They're talking about Bell having 200 all purpose yards and Darnold having a career day. This is weird especially in week 1 when you have no real evidence of anything yet. Go have a read, it's great. I actually think the teams are very evenly matched after all the changes they've made. I feel good about the Bills this season but am far from over confident. Think it'll be a close game decided in the 4th quarter.

I don't like all this talk of assuming the Dolphins are 2 guaranteed wins. They're going to be BAD for sure, and we SHOULD win them, but wins in the NFL are always tough to get and Fitz is dangerous. They might also pull together through adversity and be a little better than people think. I'd mark them both down as wins but certainly wouldn't guarantee it - look at the Vikes/Bills game from last year.

I've been pessimistic for years but earlier this off season predicted an 11-5 record. Have to say, I don't feel as good about that right now for some reason but am going to stick with it. It all hinges on getting off to a fast start.

Earlier this off season I was convinced we were going to pass a lot early in games to try and build healthy leads, then run it heavy in the second half to break the opposing defense's back. Made sense to me, and would also allow us to let the defense loose and be aggressive to pick up more turnovers and sacks when they can tee off against the pass. Now I'm a bit more convinced that they'll just do the usual run, run pass approach but hope they don't.

Even though he didn't catch much in college I think he'll be used a lot in the passing game. They seemed to try and see his hand skills in preseason a bit

Can he not be activated after week 10 or something (if they wanted or needed him due to another injury)? Unless of course it is a total season ending injury

It shows how much stronger our team is this year on paper that we can cut McCoy. He's still a capable player who would have easily made the team if it had the same makeup as last season, even with his down year stats

At least they can say they played in the NFL. If I were one of those guys and ended up selling insurance I'd have some pictures of the game up on the wall and bull#### my grandkids by telling them it was the Super Bowl. If they asked me why there were only 1000 people in the crowd I'd say we were beating the Vikings so badly that most people left during the 3rd quarter.
