This is true but Wilkins is an actual player on that line. McCargo was awful and had no right being drafted, let alone first round. It blows my mind we took him. I think Wilkins is a beast and would be ok with the pick. However, he’s not my first, second or third choice. Much rather Oliver, Sweat, JE,JT and TJ

This is so dead wrong. Mccargo has .5 sack in two seasons and 9 tkls for loss. He was less athletic at 20 pounds lesser and a lot less strong. McCargo has no business being drafted

Total tackles as a sophomore were 48 and had more tackles the following year and more sacks. His stats improved, albeit slightly but did improve. They did not level off. Historically compared with other DTS his statistics are very good.

His production leveled off? Had more tackles and sacks the following two years. Sure he was down in tackles for loss but that shot up last season.

Ya, its crazy, he’s struggles he’s a lot to do with playing next crap at guard and center. I also think a whole offseason at RT will get him ready.

No to be far Donald had one more season to that. Oliver avg more tackles for loss than Donald and 4.5 sacks compared to AD 7. And he did this in less games

Not even just Cam. Mike Vike was a franchise qb and I’ve been saying since December we just need to use him like that. Get some speed, have him throw it deep and run when the lanes are there. Vike was a nightmare to defend. Another guy similar is Cunningham. Big arm and tested defenses but would run like hell. Hell Bledsoe is identicle to Allen in terms of passing. Inaccurate short but would challenge the defense on all levels.

For someone who comes across who thinks they know a lot about football, you clearly fall short in understanding the importance of an oline. Allen literally had nothing to work at reciever and had zero run game to speak of. That puts a rookie qb at a huge disadvantage. But sure cherry pick your stats to prove your point.

I agree, could end up a lot like mike Vick. A great rushing qb who uses his rocket arm to keep defenses honest. He is a guy who will make DC worry about in there game plans. Allen is obviously not as fast as Vick but his got this incredible wiggle to his running ability

I agree he’s a freak at that position. Avg .42 sacks a game and an astonishing 1.62 tackles a loss per game. Meanwhile, they played him grossly out of position. This guy being able to just play the 3 tech in an aggressive scheme will be amazing

Mack averaged 18 tkl for loss and 7 sacks a season in his career. Oliver avg 17 tkls for loss and 4.5 sacks. While Mack was more productive, so was Oliver. He put up those numbers playing NT for a ton of snaps as well. Oliver is a legit prospect.

Dawkins, Spain, Morse, Nysecki would be a good four, now for the other spot not sure but I’ll take it

With or without this signing I don’t see an o linemen in the top 3 rounds. At this point I see a tackle they can develop for the year. A talented small school like Max Scharpling or Tytus Howard makes too much sense
