  1. One saving grace might be Lorax being out there for Edmunds if Kyle misses time. Good to have vets
  2. Gotta feel bad for the Browns luck. Hope Tyrod is ok. Frustrated me as a QB but by all accounts he seemed like a good dude.
  3. Vintage Tyrod drive.
  4. I agree that this is 100% true...but even with the obvious pro-Bills slant of the Embedded series I think it's clear that McD has a command of this team that is encouraging to see (I'm not saying that you don't agree with that...I'm just quoting you on the show producers)...and alternatively, Hue just seems like a lame duck with NO control over his team.
  5. I do think the Bills suffer from the old "oh X team? They always suck!". I think if/when Brady/Belichick retire (they will...right?) media and fans will afford them the same attitude but in a good way. It will take several bad seasons (maybe longer) for people to realize that the Pats aren't the dynasty they were. Similarly, I think the Bills need to string some playoff appearances together to get national respect.
  6. The real question is: Is it "Tie-reek"...or "Tuh-reek"???
  7. Encouraging news on Kyle. He is so vital to the Defense from an energy and leadership standpoint. With him on the sideline he can still try to inspire, but nothing like if he is in the trenches with the boys. I still get chills when I think of one of his pregame speeches last year (don't remember/know which game it was from) but he started it with "It's gonna hurt today...GOOD! Because if I can stand with anybody and it comes down to an all guts race I like the Boys in Blue I can promise you that!" EDIT: Found it...hopefully this link works. I suck at interwebz stuff. https://www.instagram.com/p/BaVOAPQFDQg/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  8. The QB takes remind me of an election...people get entrenched with "their guy" and almost don't care how the team (country) does as long as "their guy" gets the start (election win)
  9. I agree with that...but the post I quoted stated MORE important...so I was curious why.
  10. I think you might be joking...but if you are not...can you explain why you think cultural diversity training is more important than financial training? Knowing how to manage your money, and ultimately your entire life and future would certainly appear to be more valuable than being "woke".
  11. I grew up in Maine and had a buddy who was a big Bruins fan and would always randomly yell "kick save Moooggg" even when he wasn't doing something relating to kick saving, or kicking, or even saving.
  12. If this happens...I selfishly hope it's the Monday night home game as I am attending lol
  13. Speaking only for myself, the 5 interceptions was awful but it is not the reason why I would rather the Bills start Allen over Peterman. I think Peterman has the DNA that McD is always preaching, and I think he is overall an accurate QB, but I think his lack of top end arm strength makes it hard for him to effectively make all the throws necessary to be a starting QB in the NFL. If he knows where to go with the ball and its on target, but doesn't have enough zip it allows DBs to more easily break on the ball. I think the 5 interception narrative is just an easy way out for people who just want to say Peterman sucks. I think Peterman could be a good QB in some systems that play to his strengths. But after so many years I just want the Bills to have a QB that can play in any system. By at least starting Allen this year and giving him a chance to see what he has, we can at least know if the Bills have that QB in Allen.
  14. Kinda funny in spots. BUT...again I know its all in good fun...I can't stand the narrative that switching from Tyrod to Peterman for the Chargers game almost cost the Bills the playoffs (coming off of a 50-something yard passing game...why is it such a certainty that Tyrod would have helped the Bills beat the Chargers?) or that the Bills "backed in" to the playoffs.
  15. Living room. I always start the game about 15 to 30 minutes late so I can fast forward through commercials
  16. Thank you for saying what is in my heart lol
  17. I guess the main thing that irritates me when listening is NOT that he or Bulldog have an opinion that is different than mine...but that they genuinely seem to just not like the Bills (which, again is fine in itself...but its a Buffalo radio station and the flagship of the Buffalo Bills). I don't think he has to be a homer but he complains about everything that the Bills do and when they make a good move or win his reaction most times is "yeah...ok". Its like he can't allow himself to be happy.
  18. Ok..."Dirtbag". Do you care to refute what I said?
  19. Agree on Jeremy White. There are times in the AM show when I have to do a double take because I thought they moved Schopp to AM's with some of Jeremy's takes. It is interesting to note (in my opinion anyway) that in both the morning and afternoon shows...when any of the hosts goes solo for one reason or another, they each seem to be nicer to callers and more patient/neutral in general. It is almost as if the two duos feed off of each other and just create this bitter, angry, toxic environment. I WOULD stop listening all together but there really isn't any other Bills-focused daily shows (Bills Beat with Joe B and Matt Fairburn is good but only comes out every couple days...and I agree with many posters that Sal C. needs his own show!)
  20. Because Schopp adopted 2 black children (which is a kind thing to do and in itself is not relevant...but it this case it does appear to be a factor in his bias...also his bias toward Tyrod) and he is an SJW/Beta ****.
  21. Agreed. He literally seems to hate his job. I sometimes turn the volume down when a call comes in and I get the sense he is going to rip the caller a new one...I almost get embarrassed FOR the caller
  22. I honestly think Schopp will be miserable if the Bills become consistently good. He is a crap person and the 3 PM show on WGR was so much more palatable last week when he was on vacation.
  23. No disrespect to the thread starter, but I absolutely hate this argument. If the Bengals vs. Ravens game that happened Week 17 had instead been played in, say Week 3, and that game unfolded the exact same way...the Bills Vs. Dolphins game Week 17 would have been a win-and-in scenario for Buffalo. EVERY playoff spot has some "thing" associated with it that happened during the season that could be construed as "lucky" that aided X team in getting a playoff spot. The Bill did not back in to the playoffs...they just...made the playoffs. The national media liked to say the Bills needed help to get in the playoffs. Guess what? Every team technically needs "help" to get in the playoffs. They need to win their games and other teams need to lose certain games. Just because it happened in the last game of the season doesn't, in any way, shape, or form diminish the accomplishment. Enjoy it...the drought is over!
