  1. What a waste, chili Cheese Fritos would have been my go to in that recipe
  2. I cannot wait to see Edmunds out there. If he has half as good a season as Tre did as a rookie, our defense is going to be legit.
  3. I know, and you were correct. He was holding him all game long. I want guys who are going to stretch the rules all the way, the best players do. We see Pats olinemen getting away with holding all game long. And there's an art form to getting away with it. Tre seems to have the gift. heck Seattle's LOB commits PI just about every single pass play and they get called for it a ton. But if you do it every time, the refs won't call it every time.
  4. Pffttt please, Gronk pushes off every single play. He got a dose of his own and had a temper tantrum. all the best CBs in the league are grabby. The trick is to get away with it.
  5. Kid is a fighter, everything I needed to know about him i learned on the play Gronk hit him illegally on. He fought tooth and nail with a guy who's got to have 130lbs on him and held his own. And did it well. He'll fight like that every play and he's got more than enough physical gifts to be a pro bowl CB.
  6. That ZBS was a bad idea, any time Vlad beats out your incumbent RG who was solid for 2 years, it's not the players, it's your blocking scheme.
  7. I hope he's in good shape. And I hope Daboll can get him the ball in space. If he's able to do that, Shady will have another great year. Just run away from that oline.
  8. I imagine Daboll sat down with him very early and said "you are going to be the focal point of the offense, 100%. Get ready for 400 touches this year and get ready to run screens that Dennison seemed alergic to."
  9. you can never measure how hard a guy is willing to work once he gets millions of dollars. Or how badly someone wants to be a winner not just cash a paycheck. Russel had all the physical tools, just like Vince Young, just like Ryan Leaf, just like EJ Manuel, but the mental ability just wasn't there. Ryan Fitzpatrick would be a HOF QB if he had Brett Favre's arm.
  10. At least we're not the only team that has made huge mistakes on 2nd round picks.
  11. No idea if some thought he would or wouldn't. The fact that we have no one who has successfully developed a QB is a little concerning, but McDermott has worked with Andy Reid, and with Rivera, both have developed guys before. Daboll worked with Brady a lot, and he sure as heck knows what terrible QBs look like.
  12. I really hope he doesn't start early, not with a pretty sketchy oline like we have. Let em sort that out first.
  13. If there is a player in the 2019 draft named Tre Williams, I think we have to draft him no matter the cost.
  14. I think upgrading the coaching staff had a significant impact on him as well. But I wouldn't have bet you 20 bucks on him having the year he did. The NFCW is getting tougher. LA looks good.
  15. He played pretty terrible when he did get in. Then this year, with the new HC, some decent WRs, holy hell what a difference. Even the first game of the season he was murdering it. I'm hoping Allen can develop like that. I actually thought Goff was going to bust after that rookie year, he was turrible.
  16. I thought he was 3rd string longer, i stand corrected.
  17. I believe Beane/McD/Daboll have a collective plan set up for Allen's development, and I believe they had it in place before they drafted him or any QB. I expect them to stick to it unless something crazy happens. Glad he's earning some reps with the 1s.
  18. That's good, but if he starts the season as the 3rd string QB i still won't be upset. Goff was the 3rd stringer his rookie year for half the season. It's not unusual to bring a guy along slowly. Derek Carr went 0-10 his first 10 starts as a rookie. I don't expect him to come out gang busters.
  19. I was gonna say irish whiskey but potato podocarpus
  20. He'll be a star in Buffalo if our run defense improves. We know what it takes to do the dirty work and this fanbase loves guys who are underrated.
  21. Belichick or Brady not being on the Pats in 2018 is a 9.5 on the Richter scale. Everything else is a Meh.
  22. I hate impostors
  23. we throw for 300 yds about as often as Detroit has a 100yd rusher.
