They wasted their money on some bad signings ..particularly Miller .. so it means they got to fill their holes with AJ Epenesa for $6m a year instead of Danielle Hunter at $25m a year .. All teams sign STers … just that normally no one pays attention to what other teams do at the bottom of their roster ..we wouldn’t even be noticing this signing if it wasn’t an ex Bills guy

They have a massive need after moving on from both their starters … also there are questions over Rapp being capable… I think they have to get a vet that can be a definite starter … it’s not the year to be drafting a guy to start and him being an Elam type that you find out doesn’t fit …

The Bills were likely going to wait and try to pick up a guy that got left on the shelf for cheap … but the safety market has been way hotter than predicted .. He is probably going to have to make a move soon and pay more than he expected…

I got no problem about a signing like this… unlike more than a few people here.. I don’t expect every guy they sign to be an all pro… However …this will be a disappointment if he is the only WR signed in Free Agency …

Shakir did not come in Year 1 Week 1 and make significant contributions…he had 10 receptions and 160 yards for the whole rookie season in fact… A rookie playing like Nacua is unlikely to happen with the Bills 5th round pick this year … if we thought that was the case then we wouldn’t be wasting a 1st round pick at the position would we ? You are referencing Harty & Sheffield .. we know they were terrible … … we are trying to get better right? Shorter is just a total guess as to how he will go..might be good … might be crap… With how conservative this staff are here I’m just not seeing a room of Diggs, Shakir, Shorter and two rookies … They showed today that they don’t even trust getting a rookie to play LB 4… We also need to consider that the 1st round rookie may take a little time to get up to Davis levels of playing time ,,, he wasn’t a great receiver but he was very professional in his conditioning and work ethic…
