There are a number of safeties available this year in FA …last year demonstrated that outside a couple of elite guys at the top of the list, the rest go cheap…They will find a solid contributor in that $3-4 m range …no need to go for someone with an injury concern .. I like the draft this year as well…. take a swing at a long term guy in rounds 3-4 … don’t think it needs to be higher than that ..

They have got 18 of their 22 starters under contract for 2024 ( 19 if you include Miller)… The other ones missing are Davis, Hyde and DQJ…. Yes there is work to be done, and Beane needs to have a good offseason … the DL and Safety positions need to be reworked to the same extent he did last year with the OL… But they still have a lot of good pieces in place, and I’d be expecting them once again to be the heavyweights of the division and knocking on the 1 seeds door for 2024 …

Bills $51m over is assuming a figure of $242 M which is $18m more than last years cap… This may not be “official” as yet .. but has been reported by the usual suspects that seem to get fed all the inside info ( Rappaport )

So the question is .. what is a “reasonable deal” to offer him this year? someone mentioned Austin at $36m for three years as a comparison … I wouldn’t be to unhappy with that …doubt he takes less This is Morse’s last year … I think that a mix of paying three starters and having two on rookie deals is not a bad outcome … I think Dawkins has got a couple of years left in him still … pay him another 2-3 years

The Bills are looking to pay the minimum for the backup QB position based on Kyle Allen’s deal of $1.2m… Trubisky made $8m last year … and whilst he probably won’t see that again … i can see him still getting $3m somewhere…Case Keenum got that last year …

Hope he leaves the Chiefs .. but I’ll believe it when it happens

Kincaid is fine …just had the 5th best rookie year ever for a TE….I expect be better next year .. Beane has also drafted Cook, Torrence and Bernard the last 2 years …

The window is always open with Allan as you say …. 18 of the 22 starters are back next year ( this doesn’t include Miller as a starter)… there is still some good talent on this team … replace the 4 missing guys with with average level starters and you still have a Division winning team …the depth talent is gunna be worse next year … but maybe they are due a better injury year and won’t have to rely on the depth as much… I still think Diggs is likely to be back next year … it’s difficult to move on from him cap wise and their situation with the WR room is thin …

I do find it amusing that some people think their opinions about something are reality … and if you have a differing opinion you are wrong … There used to be a saying… “you are entitled to your opinion”…. Don’t hear it so much these days…
