It’s now a week past the SB …still nothing We need some real news … there is only so long one can be interested in discussing whether Thomas can last to 28 , or whether JA and Milano are the only superstars on the team… Cmon Beane - give us a cut , or a restructure… A trade would be yuge ( coming or going) ..

I have decided that I’m going to abuse Beane so much if he takes a Safety at 28 Gabe Hall at 205 is good , if a tad unrealistic

They mean it as a way of justifying risky and even unwise contract decisions ..

Rousseau was really raw when he came out … only had two years of a college if I remember correctly and sat out the season before he was a drafted because of the Covid situation …so maybe you can think he is still going through some development and can get better .. I would have liked to have seen better pass rush skills by now…not saying he is a bust by any means … but just hoped for more ..

I’ll give you Milano whom I overlooked given his absence … let’s hope he makes a full recovery by Week 1 next season and is backto his best…superstars show up in the playoffs so Oliver is out, although he had his best year so maybe he is still ascending … Bernard might get there one day soon … Douglas is a fine player but not elite

Put Diggs down as a “used to be “ I like Taron … he is an above average ..but give me the other 2 from KC

Agree about :Milano …out of sight out of mind unfortunately … the other two aren’t there yet but fingers crossed

Our mate from Kansas City that posts here did make a good point the other day… Outside the QB … is there another superstar on this Bills team ? KC has a couple …including Chris Jones who I think is the most valuable defensive player in the game at present … They got 2 great CBs ( better than anything we got) … superior interior OL ( that handled Oliver with ease… ) and Kelce on the decline but still a big game winner … Bills have got a lot of “above average “ players … but not too many game winners outside JA..

Don’t get me wrong … I would be very happy with Thomas and probably Franklin… But if they are both gone … I don’t want them having a mind set that they gotta have a WR at 28…

Or you could counter argue that they could pick another position Round 1 , with less depth, and still get quality guys in Rounds 2-4

Ok .. We are still 10 weeks away and pre Combine and Free Agency so I’m not going to get too hung up anything yet … good chance your man gets picked in the teens and both the Bills and Chiefs miss out

i suspect the Bills wanted McDuffie.. i was watching a podcast last week with Joe B from the Athletic, Matt Parino, Sal Cappaccio … and they said that was the reality .. think those guys might know

There are 30 other teams in the League that can’t beat the Chiefs when it matters as well… it’s not just a Bills problem…

So they supposedly jumped us to take a player we were never picking ? That sounds dumb, not smart … if that’s the case

Well…I’m always going to go with what actually happens rather than what a draft chart says … and the two spots has probably become the standard …But anything is possible so I’m not going to rule it out .…. There are several other variables… does the team four spots ahead want to trade down ? if your guy is still there three spots ahead than I assume you still hand over the picks to get him anyway ….

We know the price better than anyone as experienced over the last two years that a fourth round moves you two spots in the twenties …a fifth probably gets you 1 more spot…

This is the same argument I just made about the D line …we know they got several needs elsewhere as well and only two picks in the Top 75 … they can’t use those two picks everywhere … I put WR DE and DT over Safety to utilise those picks
