It seems like they think that they aren’t too far away and are concentrating on bringing it back rather than wanting to bring in new guys... I think the deal that they have brought back Milano at is pretty reasonable and they can move on from it in two years if they dont think his play warrants it or your injury concern worries prove to be correct... And this will also coincide with the time they need to start paying JA.. They obviously see him as a pretty valuable piece on the D with Hyde, Poyer, Tre, and my biggest concern Edmunds whom I’m not so sure they should extend... Milano plays a 100% of the snaps and has been a pretty good over his 4 years here... although I will say that 2020 wasn’t his best year...He is also a popular locker room guy which counts for a lot on this team .. I don’t think they make a flashy FA offensive signing as money is tight... I could see them bring in a second tier TE around $5m a year...they will need a Guard and Swing Tackle. Although neither will break the bank... I was hoping they would get a pass rusher but after Addison taking a pay cut this appears unlikely I have done a 180 now though on the idea of drafting a guy like Toney at 30 as their obvious needs are disappearing and they could do with some further speed now that Brown is gone...

Pretty much direct swaps for Jefferson and Brown... think most of us would have taken that at the start of the week...

That’s quite a haircut that Morse has taken... Beane must have had the blow torch out.. I’m a bit higher on Morse than some guys here ... but my read is that they will look to draft his replacement this year and Morse moves on in 2022 if the new guy works out...

You gotta respect them to you beat them... but you can’t build a team just to beat one other team.... This offseason still has some playing out to do... might be interesting if Watson or Wilson move to an AFC East team ...

Yes ... this was done about two months ago, and Mike Ginnetti who is Spotrac was interviewed by Matt Parino recently and he said he could get $12M ...

what have you read about Williams value ? If it was the Spotrac valuation that came out about 2 months ago, Mike Ginnetti walked that back a week ago when he said that he was the best RT in Free Agency and could get around $12m

If he keeps making changes as the off-season unfolds, come end of April he is going to be spot on...

I could still see them taking one even at 30.. Play them at G as you say , and when Williams is moved on in 2 years when you have to start paying JA ...you got a cheap RT option on his rookie deal that has had some seasoning all ready in the big league and has filled at hole at G in the meantime...

Yes they can still do it ...although I don’t think it will be one of the very top DE guys... They can sign someone to a similar deal to Milano or maybe a bit higher... say 4 years $50M.. Structure it in a way that you are only having a cap hit of $7-8 M Year 1 like Milano... This new DE makes Addison no longer required so he gets cut saving $6m so they essentially balance out for 2021
