  1. Every man and his dog knew that the Bills wanted a CB last year … and what happened, they got jumped by the Chiefs in Round 1..and it seemed to rattle them a bit on the day.. I have no idea if they are looking at OL or not… but I’m sure they are doing a bit more this year to “muddy the waters “ so I wouldn’t necessarily be thinking Beane is being entirely up front and honest in what he has said publicly so far…
  2. My problem is that they don’t seem to value RBs in their play calling enough to justify a first round pick … They have their second round pick from last year, a guy they traded a 5th for mid season, ( and then never used) and they rounded it out with Damien Harris who I think is good player and gives them a bit of power to go with the other two’s finesse and speed.. If this is their 3 RBs that suit up each week then I think that’s sufficient to meet their run game commitments
  3. “Draft experts” have to find a landing spot for RBs that they have a first round grade on in their mock drafts …and for some reason these last few years it’s always the Bills.. I would put the chances as below 5 percent they pick this guy at 27
  4. Wylie may have been their least player on the OL but he was much better than Brown last year… I see he is making $8m a year now …
  5. The flip side of course is that Brown doesn’t improve… He was terrible last year.. if that continues then I could see that being something that could derail a season… They kept expecting Ford to take a big step forward which never happened..
  6. Yes .. I agree that it is unlikely to happen and didn’t even happen in 2016 either despite Doug’s prediction… I want them to have a mindset though of picking guys in those early rounds that can contribute in 2023 ( if not Day 1) to help them win a Championship … No more Bernard’s in the third round …
  7. We haven’t had that since Doug Whaley’s famous “ 3 starters off the bus “ draft in 2016.. Shaq Lawson, Reggie Ragland and Adolphous Washington… https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/05/11/doug-whaley-believes-bills-drafted-at-least-three-day-one-starters/
  8. You think they pick him for the Hall of Fame?
  9. I was at the last Bills London game in 2015… Not great memories… I recall that they trailed by a lot and then should have won the game
  10. Just do it even if TB doesnt want him...
  11. Lotta people here don’t care about what other teams night think…they just propose trade ideas about what suits best for the Bills…they don’t seem to realise that both teams have to be satisfied with the trade outcome… Getting rid of Oliver frees up some money so just trade him…he is the 2023 Zac Moss who was included in every cockamamie trade proposal last year..
  12. Well.. obviously they decided on the certainty of having Shaq on cheap deal now rather than waiting and seeing who is available in a month and whether they want to come to the Bills… for more money … Ingram was on $4m last year …
  13. They can’t wait that long … he may still decide to not come here or even retire so what do they do then?
  14. Yeah .. but Ingram isn’t gunna take $1.7 M to come here …would also cost them their comp pick I think …
  15. $4m clearly wasn’t enough … was that Beane’s offer?
  16. $15 M guaranteed… yikes .. Jets fans now all saying that they never wanted him anyway…
  17. Imagine if they had of gone 16-0 and then got blown out like that in the playoffs at home…
  18. It’s just clickbait… take it with a grain of salt… Also says they would move up for “interior OL” but apparently not an OT? Someone is making stuff up…
  19. Obvious… Right..
  20. Think this is a bit more realistic… doubt they give back a third …
  21. Ok thanks… In my opinion..they probably would have let Edmunds walk after his 4h year rather than tag him or match even $12m a year which some team would have offered him …as you say …2022 was by some margin his best year..and not sure they would have paid him more than Milano was getting based on Edmunds play prior to last year… another factor in picking up his 5th ..probably wanted to lock him in for another year guaranteed in the middle of their SB window… Picking up Oliver’s 5th year deal has backfired …. No arguments there I guess in hindsight it’s clear which way they should have gone… to be fair though it’s tougher to make the decision at the time… They’ll have to make the call on Rousseau in 12 months… another tough decision…hope he can have a big year this year..
  22. We had a really unfortunate year with injuries … so yes this was a factor . And we certainly didn’t have much luck… I think we need to include better coaching … some flexibility around D Scheme… a bit more patience on O to take what’s on offer rather than bombs away… I think both of these will happen next year …
  23. Can you explain in a little more detail what you mean around mismanaging the 5th year option say for Oliver and Edmunds…?
