  1. Truly a sad day for BFD. My heart goes out to my brother FF's. I'll keep these guys in my thoughts and prayers. I'm waiting for the services to be announced. Hopefully I can make the trip up there to pay my respects.
  2. Sounds like a cool trip... I came up for the HOF Game. Spent a couple days around Buffalo. Drove through some of the areas of the city I havent seen for a while, stopped at a few of my favorite Pizza and wing places, spent several days in the Olean/Braford area. Had a great time going to the HOF game. Took my 79 year old step father who'd never been to an NFL game before, also spent the day with my 2 cousins. One of which I hadn't seen in over 20 years. Being a Firefighter, I stopped in at one of Buffalo's busiest Firehouses (E31, L14) at Baiiley and Doat and traded a few T Shirts. I also stopped at the Buffalo Fire Museum on Williams Street. Anyone who's intereted in Buffalo history or Firefighting I would strongly recommend stopping in the museum for a visit. Lots of cool stuff, and a great buch of guys. Can't wait to get back up there.. Buffalo and WNY has some really cool things to do.
  3. Nice Pics Jay... I see I made the crowd shot when they are coming out of the helmet pre-game. We didn't get to see much of the Titan cheerleaders on the other side.. Thanks for the last shot
  4. I had to call my Aunt in Tonawanda this AM to make sure my cousins husband wasn't on the flight. He fly's regularly out of BUF on business and in fact flew the exact same flight last Thursday night, but thank God he was in town this week and not travelling. I used to not mind flying those Turbo Props, but had a couple unpleasant experiences. My sister was bumped from a flight from ATL to BUF and put on a Turboprop last Winter and I couldn't believe the Airlines would put profit above Safety to fly those things into Buffalo during inclement weather. Not 100% sure, but the last major plane crash near Buffalo was a prop plane back in the 50's that crashed in Great Valley (between Ellicottville and Salamanca), plus the 2 Allegany Airlines Prop plane crashes in Bradford Christmas eve 69', and New Years 70'. My prayers are with those familes and friends...
  5. I've had Sunday Ticket since 1996 too. Superfan package past few years. Really like the Superfan over the Internet so I can catch the games from work. I wish I lived close enough to have season tickets and could go to the games. It's understandable, but most of the same people that are mad and blowing off steam will be on here in April posting "Who will be our 1st pick?" I'm sure each and everyone on here has a family member they aren't pleased with. Well no matter what they're still family. Think of the Bills that way. We may not be happy with them, but they're still our Bills. Sign me up for some more Sunday Ticket in '09 so I can watch my Bills..
  6. Turnovers definetly killed us today. The Safety was just the nail in the coffin. Hopefully we can return the favor when we meet them in TO in Dec..
  7. My brother was friends with him when he lived in Bradford PA several years ago... he introduced me to him, really nice guy.
  8. It's funny.. I was thinking about Wyche today as I drove up through SC and saw some of his election signs... he's running for a County Commisioner spot in the NW part of SC... LOL
  9. Hey.... I like Skoal and the Billls, plus live in Florida... I don't have a mullet though..... LOL
  10. Try lowering the video quality and see if that helps... (it's up in the right hand corner of the Supercast viewer page)
  11. I couldn't get my DTV recievers to work, so I called DTV and they couldn't resolve it. So they're sending me some new recievers.. So I thougt I'd watch superfan and like you guys couldn't log in.... After the 1st qtr I was finally able to get in.. At least I can watch it on Superfan
  12. Wow, thats funny... I too was one of the fastest guys in the 40. Only about 10 lbs. lighter than your son. They had me penciled in for a DB spot my Soph. yr in ('77), Dennis Baumgardner (sp) was our coach and he had an awesome off season training program. By the time off season training ended I was benching twice my weight. Back then, Clearfield was better known for it's Wrestling program under Coach Turner. I moved to Bradford, and despite the bad knee and not being able to play football, the Wrestling Coach found out I was from Clearfield and hammered me all the time to be one of his wrestlers.. LOL
  13. Thanks for the pics and update Lori. It looks really nice. I worked for Bradford schools for 5+ yrs. back in the 80's, including 1 yr at Bfd. High. Pics brought back some memories. Thanks for the links.
  14. Thanks for the update Lori... How does the new Artificial Turf look at Bradford High? BTW, Buffaloed... Small world..I went out for Varsity FB in Clearfield, but ended up moving to Bradford my Jr. year. Broke my knee before season and pretty much ended my FB career..
  15. I remember watching those. This is a little OT, but I saw an obituary for Chief White Owl in my local paper the other day.
  16. Bills | Drone agrees to terms Sun, 27 Apr 2008 16:45:04 -0700 Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports the Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms with undrafted free-agent QB Luke Drone (Illinois State). Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Lots of other good stuff about our draft
  17. I'm impressed. He seems to have good carachter too. Never know, he could be a late round steal.
  18. Don't remember the name of it, but there was a Strategy type Desert Warfare game where you took turns moving troops and tanks. Graphics were'nt that great, but it was lots of fun.
  19. Cool link Kegtapr.... I tried one of those emulator sites a while back and had some issues, but I'll definetely try this. Thanks.
  20. I think I wore out my thumbs on Catlevania... Still love the original Mario Brothers and Techmo Bowl.
