Steve, You can't use the DTV Tivo with Adelphia, I've already tried it. Adelphia offers a Tivo type unit but it's not compatible with DTV. One thing I've checked on is supposedly next season DTV will require us Season Ticket holders to buy one of their packages. Hopefully a Lawsuit will settle them from forcing those of us who only subscribe to the NFL Package to paying for a whole DTV Package. BTW, I'm up in Stuart and just got cable back from the storms on Mon.

It sucks the Bills lost yesterday, but luckily I had my power turned back on yesterday AM just in time to watch the game. I thank god that I was able to sit in my undamaged living room with a roof over my head, when several of my neighbors lost theirs. For those who don't know me, I'm a Firefighter in Martin Co. Fla, we were Ground Zero for Hurricane Frances when it came through. The storm officially came ashore 2 mi from my house, close to where my father in laws place "was". (he lost everthing) Thankfully he was up in Bradford PA at the time. After 8 days without power, or water, worrying about family members during the storm, assesing damage, running numerous calls at work, cutting up all my trees out of my yard, seeing my adopted "hometown" of Jensen Beach Fla suffer severe damage, believe me, win or lose, I was So Happy just to be able to sit on my couch in the AC with a cold one and watch the game... I would've been happier with a win though... At least the Dolphins lost.... Hope to make it next years Party.

Stevestojan, I work for the FD up in Martin Co.. They told us to prepare for 5 day deployment. The station I'm at is on the beach, so we've spent all day getting all the stuff out. I'm sure it will be levelled in a Cat 4. Good luck to all down here, I'll let you guys know how we make out when we get power back. I'd rather be watching the Bills replay Sat on NFL network......

I got a DVR/HDTV Cable box from Adelphia a couple weeks ago. Since I had a HDTV box before, they gave it to me at no extra monthly charge. It's pretty cool. I also picked up a Tivo at the same time so I can hook it up to Directv for the games...

Steve, I'd invite you up to Jensen Beach, but we're probably going to get nailed here too. How old is your apt? If it's built after 91 it probably was built to hurricane code. Otherwise go stay at that friends west of town or find a shelter. I'm more concerned about storm surge more than wind.

Zamboni Man, I'm in Jensen Beach... Just got back from around Home Depot, the place is packed. Luckily I didn't have to go there. Best investment I ever made was storm panels a couple yrs ago. Guess I'll be putting them up this afternoon.

Now that sounds interesting... I've been thinking of the Miami game. Let me get back with you on that.

I was in Champion Sportswear last week looking for a Ricky Williams jersey for my wife's friend who's a Dolfan.(Just to rub it in ) Champion no longer sells NFL jerseys, or shirts. When I asked they said they no longer have the Liscense to make them... It's too bad, because you used to be able to get some really cheap stuff there....

I just bought a Losman jersey last week. I'm done buying Jerseys.... Everytime I buy a players Jersey he gets hurt or has a crappy season...

With any luck I'll have my Tivo set up by then...
