    Nope.

But there's a surefire way to resolve any debate here.  Release ALL 14k hours of Capitol surveillance tape from J6. It seems to me that a committee wanting to get to the truth about J6 would do exactly that, right?

Curious why they haven't. It makes one wonder if they want the truth or a narrative here? Nah let's just trust the least trustworthy group known to man to spoonfeed us "the truth."

Why were all four bodies and Sicknick's cremated without asking their families permission?

#1.   This Julie Kelly is as biased as it gets.  I opened her profile from one of your other posts last night, and 95% of what she posts is conspiracy theory crap.  Some may even end up being true, but that happens when you throw enough crap at the wall.  Eventually some sticks.  It doesn't make you right.  Literally everything she posts is how corrupt Democrats are and how perfect Republicans are.  How every investigation is a coverup for something else.  All of her links are just right back to her own website.

#2.  Ashli Babbitt was seen on video climbing through the broken window of a barricaded door, while the Capitol police ordered her to stop and had his gun drawn.

And she wasn't cremated against her families' wishes:

After her death [on January 6 2021], Ashli Babbitt’s body remained in Washington for weeks while law enforcement completed investigations. Then she was cremated, in keeping with her wishes, and her remains were flown back to San Diego in February [2021], her mother said.

Now, her mother maintains that she was "murdered" but she was not cremated against her or her families wishes.

    3.  Why are Capitol police suddenly corrupt?  People fight tooth and nail to cover for police officers who shoot unarmed people all over because they "could" have a weapon, but suddenly when a group of thousands of people are storming the Capitol, we should just ignore that and treat them peacefully?  Investigate the incidents for sure, but it's amazing how the narrative on police flips when they shoot someone you agree with.

There were zero double votes that they found clown, how hard do you think they really looked?  How about the kids at UNH who can vote with their student ID.  They just need to "promise" not to vote in their home state.  How many of those promises do you think were kept?

My guess is you're another mass-hole transplant.....go home.

Gosh I wish there were some kind of warning that this sort of thing could happen.

You do realize that a vast majority of pedophiles aren't gay, right?

I don't agree with the extreme side of the LGBTQ community either that wants it injected into everyone's daily life all the time, but that is a pretty small portion.  Most just want to live their lives like everyone else.

Who was the greatest prospect in the history of the world, had a traditionally solid team go on a one year tank to take him, had that same team trade away their greatest ever player to pave way for him, got inserted into a division who had a five year run of unmatched ineptitude and still managed to produce average results, playing in just one AFCCG and getting smoked in it, winning his terrible division a few times and choking it away at other times?  Oh, and then he retired early.

    Andrew Luck

He had a great team around him, except the worst line in the NFL his whole career.  They finally addressed it once he retired.

It tolls the contract.  That is why I am in favor of a 16 game suspension allowing him to play one game.

1 game wouldn't toll the contract.  But either way, 1 game would never happen.

    2 hours ago, BarleyNY said:

The contract is currently structured so that Y1 cap hit is $10M and Y2 is $55M.  If he misses the season due to suspension then his contract would toll and Y1 would be delayed until 2023.  It’s worth mentioning that the Browns are certain to restructure his contract in Y2 to greatly reduce that $55M cap hit.

His cap hit is $55M every year after year 1, so it's hard to say what they will do.  The cap is going to explode, so they very well may do that, but reducing Y2 to increase the others isn't going to help THAT much.

I haven't played Madden since the Donovan McNabb cover which I think was like 2004.

I've heard chatter that Madden has gotten worse.  What's the issues with the game now?

It's not just Madden, it's almost every game nowadays.  The game companies are in such a big rush to get the games released that they always have tons of issues that they "just patch" right when the game comes out.  A lot of new games will have a several GB patch the day it releases.

My main issue with Madden has been the bugs and the make new things for franchise mode that are nice, only to get rid of them a year or 2 later for "improvements" that are actually not.

So an 8 game suspension this year means that next year, it would jump to $54 million cap hit next season?

Yes.  I honestly don't know the exact amount of games he has to be available for.  I think it used to be 6 for a 16 game season.  At 17 games, it may be 7, or still 6.  There were similar rules for players holding out.  They could technically hold out 10 games, play 6, and have their contract count for that year.  No pay for the games, and fines, but the contract tolls at least.

Tolling means the contract is delayed right?  This would hurt the Browns salary cap?

No.  It would count.  His cap hit this year is only like $10M or something.  Next year it jumps to $54M.  If they suspend him for the year, or even a majority of the year, it basically gives him the same contract next year and essentially moves it a year down the road, so his hit next year would be $10M instead of jumping.

If he’s out 8 games he might as well be out the whole season. Brissett is not a starter. Their other QB: Josh dobbs. They will be out of the team playoff picture in a tough division and loaded AFC, then they might win just enough games to drop their top draft pick in 2023 even further without a 1st round pick. Why they are waiting this long though is ridiculous, they start TC in a week.

Adding Cam would just add to the sideshow up there. Pointless imo.

Yeah, I want nothing to do with Cam Newton.  That would be pointless as he isn't a good QB anymore, and he comes with extra drama.  If Watson gets 6 games or less, I think they stick with Brissett.  The Browns' schedule is pretty weak the 1st 4 weeks, and I could see them going 3-1 or even 4-0 depending on Pittsburgh QB situation.  The schedule gets a lot tougher after that though.

If Watson gets 8 games or more, I could see them trying to add a QB, even possibly Garappolo.  He can win with a good run game and defense, which Cleveland should have.  Garappolo will depend on how desperate SF is to get rid of him.  Cleveland has the cap space.  I wouldn't give up a high draft choice for him.

Those are gov't numbers which you need to stop trusting, and they are nowhere near Apples/Apples.

Ok, so what numbers are people trusting in order say "it's just the flu" then?  It's insanity.  People claim one number is off, but would rather trust Joe Schmoe on Youtube or Twitter.

    No dispute America has fallen.

You take umbrage with "the flu" tho.

    Fascinating

No, it's pointless to argue when people make pointless, idiotic statements.  Trump was pushing the payments as much as anyone.  And it's pointless to argue with people who just put out crap conspiracy theories with no evidence to back them up.

When it's "your" guy, it doesn't matter what he does.  Only when it's the "other" guy is the only time you have an issue.

Sorry his spending is CCP/DNC forced

You know, that Insurrection in March of 2020 when America was conquered by the flu.

Covid killed 6.3M in 2 years.  The flu kills 350,000-600,000 per year.  But yeah, the flu...

Just because this administration is the worst ever, doesn’t mean the last administration was too.

3.1 trillion was for the plandemic in its beginning. Since the world leaders shut down the world, that money was to help being out of work and paying bills.

The 1.9 trillion went to who knows where? Both sides of the aisles are nothing more than modern day grifters.

I agree that both sides suck.  That's my point.  But everyone jumps on one side and just blames the other side when they both do the exact same thing.

People call it a plandemic yet somehow never blame the people in charge at that point.  Who deserves the blame if it was planned?  US? China? Who? I'd love to know considering it killed both my parents.

Either way, how did the $3.1T not contribute but the $1.9T is solely to blame?

He gets as much blame as Trump got.  Their rules.

Do you see me blaming just Trump, or both?  You can't say "Biden's $1.9T plan caused inflation" while ignoring Trump's $3.1T plans, which is exactly what B-Man did.

You say "their rules" yet both sides blame everyone and their mother.  Trump blamed Obama for everything.  Obama blamed Bush.  Biden blames Trump.  It's never ending.

Sure....make sure you toss in "the last two Presidents". Hilarious!

Again, everyone is blaming the COVID spending for inflation.  Who had more government COVID spending?  I am not trying to support Biden here, at all.  He sucks.  I didn't and wouldn't vote for him.  But he isn't solely to blame either.

Housing start ups dropped again a 2nd straight month today.

Revisit that number by March of 2023 for me.....get back to us.

    10 years plus.

Yes, home builds were going to go down with interest rates going up.  It's part of the cycle.  It's the way it has always worked.  Just like why they went up so much with interest rates so low.  Things can't go up forever, they always adjust, and the housing market always seems to have more severe adjustments.

Inflation is high, and it sucks.  Tons of factors in it too, including the last 2 Presidents.  It's a worldwide issue right now.

Breitbart Business Digest: Homebuilder Sentiment, Apple Report Send Shudders Through Economy

The key piece of data we were waiting on today is the National Association of Home Builders index (NAHB), which reflects how home builders are feeling. And the feeling is not great, apparently.

Builder sentiment is now at 55, a drop of 12 points. This is the largest single-month drop ever, with one exception. (The exception being April 2020. As you may recall, the world had decide to shut down at exactly that time.)

    https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2022/07/18/breitbart-business-digest-homebuilder-sentiment-apple-report-send-shudders-through-economy/

Homebuilders have been on an absolute tear for years now, especially during COVID. So homebuilders did have a quick downturn in 2020, then went right back to making huge amounts of money.  A personal friend owns a small construction company and has made huge profits the last 4 or 5 years compared to before.  Like anything else, it has to come down at some point.

I also notice you left off where any number above 50 is still considered positive.

he doesn’t have to be a great player.  He doesn’t have to be fast.  He needs to be smart and to have good instincts.  He’s competing against Dane Jackson.  What do you know about him?

He was always a good player, even as a rookie. I think he entered the league at barely 20.  But he always was very smart and savvy.  Never crazy athletic, but he has definitely slipped a good bit.  I would say average, maybe very slightly above average, but he will get beat some, and he will get injured.  He has always been prone to injuries a bit.

Haden has hinted about a return to Cleveland as well, and I'd take him at the right price.  He would be #4 in Cleveland and a good mentor for a bunch of young guys, even Ward.  But Greedy Williams, Greg Newsome, and Martin Emerson could learn from him, especially Emerson.  Slower CB who is physical.  Haden is smaller but always played pretty physical.
