Arik Armstead released, signs with Jax

That’s what I’m kinda prepared for being a realist other than playing with Josh and his wife. There isn’t much in favor of the Bills getting him. A team like the Texans with the tax situation alone of Texas opposed to New York is going to make this a heavy lift that even the thought of 17 as your qb can overcome. -

We have really only a few selling points. You’re close to home The QB you just played with well our QB can play better then that blindfolded Let’s hope it’s enough -
Former NFL GM of the year Brandon Beane playing 5D chess while everyone else plays Operation
-
Beanes plans at WR is at this point here’s a sixth rounder project Josh turn him into another Shakir … now don’t bother me while I throw defensive picks at a dartboard.
-
Not surprised the fins almost signed him last year and he pretty much lives in Florida he’s basically year to year guy from retirement. Total warrior and one the best safeties that’s ever played here wish him luck.

What if Allen and Mahomes swapped exact situations?

Look it’s been said in this thread and needs to be said again the difference in these two organizations is one Andy Reid. When you start your career with the best offensive mind this league has seen since Bill Walsh that’s a heck of way to start your career. Josh started with Rick Dennison and Brian Daboll while the front office was defense first, second, and third. Josh’s greatness can never really be measured cause so much is expected of him but quite frankly he’s the best player in this franchises history and if he was with the Chiefs he’d be the best player in their history. Patrick would be terrific here as well but the difference is Andy Reid. -
We will see I have my doubts and believe he’ll just backfill his defensive needs then draft WR and go with rookies at the position
-
He was a second round pick of the broncos a couple years back and showed promise but injuries got him released where he was picked up by the colts and the same thing happened. Beane doesn’t value the position as important as others he’ll draft a couple this year cause he has no choice but them getting a solid vet receiver in free agency just isn’t his Mo
-
Just Josh is still underpaid for what he’s done for this franchise and Daks contract proves it
-
One thing about the Bills desperately needing a WR or 2 I really think the front office believes KJ Hamler is going to be fully healthy and that will be their free agent WR acquisition at least in Brandon’s mind.
-
His new deal says he’ll make 59.4 million dollars this year 12 more then Josh so yeh Josh is underpaid
-
Probably two project oline for Kromer to work with Two WRs probably two of the first 4 picks One RB even though I think they really are happy with Damien Harris as the guy behind Jimbo That leaves 6 picks for the defensive side of the ball 2-3 dlinemen A Lb for depth and 2 for the secondary Thats of course if they do nothing in free agency and decide to just maintain their picks to get them on rookie contracts and judging by how Beane is operating that’s probably what he’ll do.

2025 comp picks - good 1st day for that
78thealltimegreat replied to eSJayDee's topic in The Stadium Wall
Picks after the 3rd round have proven to be golden for this team there was a chart last year that said Beane was one of the best drafters after the third round in the league I think only San Fran was better. So any comp picks I will gladly take despite it most likely not being a 3rd. -
That’s still a bargain Dak Prescott is about to get 60 mill a year from Dallas
-
I agree with the comments about Mitch but he was literally one more concussion from calling it quits anyway. The other guys were totally expected. If be shocked if Beane adds anyone of significance in free agency and let’s face it if Josh didn’t convince Von Miller to come we wouldn’t really have done much in free agency of significance in the last several years anyway. Who would our biggest signing of the last few years be McGovern?
