  1. Took a week of maybe 20 attempts to log into the app. on my Android TV. Average wifi speed 109+ mbps. Logged in immediately on my ipad. Tried everything on the help page to no effect until the app. finally worked. Contacted support team. Told me I couldn’t be helped unless I could send them a screenshot of the log in page. After a couple of unsuccessful tries, I asked how I might do this on my ipad. No suggestion but the connection was closed. Possibly, I was on for too long. Still finding my way around the app. Music and graphics during breaks is annoying but not much more so than blank screen on International Game Pass in past years.
  2. Very interesting comments. Thanks. It will be really interesting to see how different the team looks in 2024 to this year. My opinion: Oliver and White for reasons already listed. Morse, Hyde and/or Poyer to retirement.
  3. There is no need to overthink this. Copy KC’s usage of Kelce and LV’s usage of Waller. Mix and match.
  4. Great discussion. Thanks. Will be better able to judge the 2022 draft next season when, hopefully, Cook, Shakir, Elam, and Benford should get a lot more touches. (Not going to comment on Bernard- didn’t see him.) Being realistic, Beane will be here for years yet. So he should be. It is up to the coaches to give his picks the best chance to be successful. We can’t judge the quality of the picks if the players aren’t given more chances. Or are the coaches telling us what they think of the picks? I would really value people’s opinions in this regard on the almost non-use of Nyheim Hines in the offence after the trade as he is effectively one of this year’s fifth round picks.
  5. Great post and really relevant points and questions raised in the discussion. Does anybody know whether Dorsey is going to give a press conference so these questions can be asked of him?
  6. Interesting thread. Depending on free agency, retirements ( Mitch Morse?) and what offers, if any, Poyer and Edmunds accept, there could be any number of needs. Another question: do they transition Christian Benford to safety? In any case, really need to see a couple of IOL and a wide receiver added.
  7. A lot of really insightful comments here. The problem I am having is reconciling the following thoughts: 1. We are all-in to win the Super Bowl this year. We would therefore want our All Pro safety on the team. 2. There are a lot of rumours that we want to move up in the draft. However, given the size and number of contracts for Josh, Stefon, Von etc., we are going to need to hit on as many draft picks as possible over the next few years to field a really competitive team. The best chance of doing this is to have as many draft picks as possible. Therefore, we won’t want to give up the necessary draft picks for any move past a couple of places. 3. Therefore, to move up in this year’s draft, Beane might prefer to trade a player who is nearing the end of his contract; especially if the player or player’s wife might be happy to leave for a longer or higher contract. 4. However, 3 undermines 1. unless we can replace that player with as good or better player by moving up in the draft. I love the NFL. It is the only sport in the whole world where the off-season is as interesting as the season.
  8. The Pegulas have really opened the purse strings. We are really going for it this year before Josh’s contract means a fair bit of shedding other players. Two CB’s and a WR or pass-catching RB in first three rounds of the draft.
  9. Thanks for this. I don’t follow college football so I will research the names. I am thinking the Bills pick two corners, a wide receiver, two guards and a punter. Looking forward to the draft.
  10. Agree with Big Turk. In fact, one vet. CB moderately priced and I wouldn’t be surprised if we draft two corners and a receiver in rounds 1-3 then a couple of guards/centres in 4 and 5.
  11. Firstly, I hope all the players and their families are okay. They are all people first and football players second. Secondary matter: Given the huge difference in the way the NFL treats vaccinated and unvaccinated players and the statistically somewhat likely difference in severity and duration of symptoms between the vaccinated and unvaccinated, the Bills have been walking a finer path than most teams all season. We have tripped off that path in the week leading to our most crucial game of the season. This is why the anti-vax stance of some team members was irresponsible from a football point of view.
  12. Watching the Tampa Bay game and I am both in awe of Josh and worried he is going to be very badly injured.
  13. The team has lost 3 of its last 4. We haven’t beaten a team with a winning record except for KC when it was in a slump. We haven’t beaten a team with a good starting veteran quarterback except for Patrick Mahomes when he was in a slump. Every team in the competition knows how to beat us. We are no closer to being able to consistently stop the run than we were in 2019. Alvin Kamara should be back for NO. on Thursday. We match up extremely badly against the Patriots team and even worse against their coaches; and we face Tom Brady and Leonard Fournette towards the business end of the season. And AB and Gronk should be back. More than that, the team showed nothing today. The enthusiasm seems to be missing on the sideline. Josh is playing inconsistently and throwing intercepts. There is already Covid in the building and in the community and we are reportedly one of the least vaccinated teams in the competition. Hopefully, all this can be turned around but the trend is not good.
  14. Good post. One of the standard NFL comments: “You are what your record says you are.” The Bills have played two decent teams, Pittsburgh and Tennessee, and lost to both of them. Yesterday was rock bottom. See Tim Graham’s column in “The Athletic” where he illustrates that it was a loss of historical dimensions. A good team should not lose like that ever. Can the team turn it around? Sure. But the time to start is now. Otherwise, the Patriots will be division champions again.
  15. Hyde and Poyer are the only over 30’s I would bet on being with the team next year. We really need our last two draft classes to come on and to hit big on the 2022 draft class.
