Listening on my way home from work, Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller on their radio show stated the Bills don't have the authority to forfeit a game, that it solely resides with the NFL ie: Goodell. Doesn't mean a team can influence a decision on way or the other, but the decision resides with the commissioner.

Don't discount some of his own mistakes (ie: vs the Raiders last year where he basically yanked the playoffs away from them). They established a precedent by firing Shottenheimer after a 14-2 record, so he needs to produce IMO.

Making the playoffs probably saved Brandon Staley.

And if Tua hits a crosser to Tyreek that goes the distance and Tyreek taunts our slow DBs for a TD, everyone would go back to bitching about taking the TD. I guess conversely you could argue, if the FG is blocked or missed, should have scored the TD. My guess is the FG was probably the highest percentage play to coincide with the game clock.
