  1. Talked with a Browns fan today.....yeah he admitted it. His scenario.....No 1st round QB.....Draft 2 studs with 1 &.4.....all in & more weapons for TT......Build around Tyrod.
  2. Sweet! Wouldnt that be perfect for picking at #12 and keep all our draft picks......except I doubt the Jets sold the farm for Tremaine Edmunds
  3. We bounced....Chippewa, Franklin, Deleware Sts....but alot of fun places in the Amherst/Getzville area too, Maple, Millersport etc.....but that was 7+ years ago. NOW, Id go to the 716 Sports Bar at HarborCenter, something about a 38ft screen......My next trip back Ill be there
  4. From the Sunshine state.......Happy Easter to the best fans in all of sports! Go Bills!!!
  5. Actually I do. Some funny antics. Good to hear Im not the only draft nerd.....but I do draw the line at eating nacho cheese off his chest. Ill make sure to have TBD up as well as a tracker. Cant wait
  6. And she thinks Im crazy......too funny
  7. This may have previously been posted, if so my apologies. How do you take in the draft? For years when I was in Amherst NY, a mile from UB north, we’d get together with a bunch of friends go downtown and have a fun night. But I missed alot of the analytical stuff with all the hootin and hollerin. Now in Florida for 7 years and not a ton of Bills fans around me, I tell the wife Im not available draft weekend, have the tv on, the laptop and ipad with draft trackers and kick back. Wifey says Im the only one that does this.......am I lol?
  8. Id be fine with them as well at #12 or #22. You hear it every year, top draft picks are expected to start. I still have this feeling that Beane will fill the holes, build the team they want, and make a big splash next season in free agency. I could be totally wrong but I certainly see your point. I really dont think you will see the QB’s fly off the board like some think True and true.....but, Im not convinced YET that AJM cant be the man. Im not against taking a QB, far from it......just dont sell the farm in doing so.
  9. Goodness.......Gunner what a fantastic job you did! The quality and time vested is lights out.....good on ya man. As previously mentioned of course teams will over pay.....personally I hope we just sit tight and lets the chips fall.....unless of course some draft night deal is too good to pass up.
  10. Id be surprised if they move up to #2......To give up that much, the brass better feel the ‘kid’, whoever their guy is, can play Day 1. Why sign AJ then? Id love to play poker with some of you ‘all in’ guys.
  11. Im thinking your Mayfield/Brees comparison is bang on
  12. True, but it happens. Who said Beane will even be drafting a QB that late? Take a look at 2nd and 3rd rounders in the past......My point is if a good deal is there Beane bites, if not sit tight. Keep in mind the huge cap space the Bills will have after this season.
  13. Interesting take. Some late round nobodies if I might throw out there.... Tom Brady #199 Roger Staubach #129 Bart Starr #199 Joe Theismann #99 Mark Rypien #146 Matt Hasselbeck #187 Brad Johnson #227 Rich Gannon #98 Mark Brunell #118 Mark Bulger #168 All multiple Pro Bowlers except for Bulger (just 1 for him) I wont go into the SB wins/appearances. I have not addressed late round 1, Rd 2 &3 QB picks and what those ‘nobodies’ might have done
  14. Bang on. Im thinking if a QB they love falls to 12 they bite, but the D has some holes, and more to come after Kyle. Their thought could be to go with AJM this year and their franchise QB will be acquired in FA in 2019.
  15. People are buying into the ratings hype. Ive read so many articles of reporters saying the Bills trade 4 picks, including next years 1st, just to take a shot for a guy who could be a total bust.Unless Beane can work some magic, I hope we stick with our 2 picks, we have too many holes. The ultimate example of course is Tom Brady selected #199, 6th round......I still say we take a QB with one of our 1st rounders.
  16. Yeah that Brady guy was pick #199.....what a hot mess he turned out to be......imagine picking him
  17. I never said Glenn was trash. He was in sickbay more than on the field. Cap space brother.....
  18. Yep....and Bills win again. Every move Beane has made has been a winner, good poker face too. I truly believe if a deal works for Beane he will make sure its a win for the Bills, he will pull the trigger. If not we got all them picks. This guy so far reminds me of a bank.....doesnt matter what transaction you do, the bank wins.
  19. Agreed.....and if we did the trade up it would have cost much more. Seems to me people on here are very passionate, but throwing away all those picks to move up 8 or 9 spots is just crazy and desperate. People get caught up in all the hype, Think long term here. The Bills brass still might move up some if the deal works. AJM is more ready than any QB in the draft.
  20. I agree and think this might be their thinking. Beane is a slick GM who wont sell the farm. They will select a QB in the first round but hang onto their picks. They can do some serious team building, bring in their guys......I mentioned in another post, AJM is hungry and a winner, that is exactly who you want over center.
  21. Bingo. That would be smart drafting and still have all our picks to build this team for years to come. Beane seems slick, I wouldnt be surprised if he takes this route. He would be the GM of the century if AJM lights it up too. Keep in mind the trade with the Bengals was to UNLOAD Glenn, the pick swap was added bonus in the deal, imo. Many see this as moving up for a QB, I see it as moving on from an injury prone OT and getting a sweet pick in doing so.
  22. A long stretch I know........ if I may.......”and with the #199 pick the New England Patriots select Tom Brady.” Would waiting to #12 be so bad? Just a thought.
  23. New guy here......Ive always enjoyed tbd.....interesting thoughts on trading up and imo giving a kings ransom for the #3 pick. We all love the sexy pick, go up and get our QB, but you can sure do a ton of team building with all those picks. Id hate to see a repeat of EJ (and I always loved the guy). AJM was a backup to the Bengals franchise guy Dalton, who knows what his ceiling is when the Bills are HIS team, he did win 2 national titles. This guy is hungry and wants his payday too, just the kind of guy you want. Still draft a QB, just dont trade away your draft wealth.
