Perine and McFarland gone before our 4th. Safe to say it was a good spot to get Moss in the 3rd.

His interview was solid. Better than that initial reaction we saw. Love how he says making defenders make business decisions. I think we got a good one here.

Some of the comparisons people throwing out are 10 year players(schobel, Hanson, Carlos Dunlap nfl.com. We all want the next superstar but a 10 year starter with a couple pro bowls sprinkled in is nothing to spit at. i really like this pick. Ed Oliver and Aj Epenesa should be a really solid pass rushing duo for a long time.

Another thing to keep in mind is that we’d likely receive a compensation pick for Fournette if he were to sign elsewhere after next season. Probably recoup whatever we have up+ I think some of this stuff Off field stuff is getting overblown. he’s not perfect by any means. But I think motivated for another contract we’d be the beneficiaries of a really good year from him.

Well he’d probably be motivated by a payday. He’d essentially be playing for his next contract here. Not sure I’d want to be the one paying him but if we win who cares about the later.

Some may not like it but Fournette is a pretty good fit for the bills. Not as ideal as finding a later round gem this draft but here you’d be getting a guy that can move the sticks. His contract makes it likely that he’d be a rental. But if we’re putting in all our chips this year you could definitely do worse than a Singetary- Fournette backfield. I wouldn’t give anything higher than a 5th, but the fit is there.

5th or lower. At this point you’re buying the name and not much else. Talented but hasn’t produced. i still don’t believe in our TE group. I think adding another TE would be a smart idea. I like Knox and think he can take a step this year. Kroft I have no hope for at this point.
