No. He was a QB that did not throw multiple picks per game and could at least run the offense and not let games get out of hand. He limited turnovers and could use his legs to mask issues with the OL and lack of other weapons. He kept you in games if the Defense played well. If the Defense struggled it was going to be a long day. Not a franchise QB but a decent placeholder until you find one.

In some states he could have been legally shot. It is trespassing no matter how you look at it. He was not drunk either. He was high on something or mentally ill. He was identified by the guy at the house. Guessing he pleads to some lesser charge and pays a fine and community service. But NFL could suspend him as well.

Would have instantly been our #1.

Was he on the same stuff as Zay Jones? At least Chad kept his clothes on and was not trying to jump out of a window. Seriously - drugs can get the best of people. Chad has gotten lucky or been excused of things his whole life. No serious consequences at least that motivated him to learn from them. I doubt getting cut would even be enough. He needs treatment if he ever wants to get better.

I was very wrong about Tyrod & have to own it.

His career has started worse than EJ and Trent. The last two rookies to start games for the bills at QB. So we have no idea he if he is going to be fine. Wishful thinking. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/ManuEJ00/gamelog/2013/ https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/EdwaTr01/gamelog/2007/ -

Tyrod threw 10 int in his last 30 games. The Bills (Allen, Peterman, and Anderson) have 12 in 7 games this year. That is how you lose. Not to mention the fumbles. -
This. The process was not we can be okay in 2017 but in 2018 we are going to completely stink. Then we will get better we think in 2019 and beyond. They are clueless on offense. On Defense its at least hit or miss.

Who to start against NE?

Where are the options 3 and 4? I would take a shot at another guy that could either be your long term back up assuming Allen figures it out. Or could be the guy regardless. Even a Paxton Lynch, Landry Jones, Austin Webb, anyone. Anderson gets you nothing. Peterman has shown who he is. Lets look elsewhere. -
Rams have about 15 guys from 2012-2016 drafts...

The number of blowout losses under McBean is astounding

Marrone had 1 of these in 2 years Rex had 0 in his 2 years. So the 2 coaches before these guys had 1 in 4 years and he has had 7 in less than 1.5 seasons. That is awful. Beyond awful. -

So keep them so you can have sustained failure -
Ego and excuses. SO you can say things like "trust the process".

ngbills replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Funny how if Anderson plays like Tyrod or just a little worse so many would be happy with that. Many teams are breaking offensive records - in the good way. The bills are doing the opposite - breaking records in the wrong way. Should not be happening in this nfl, the rule changes, etc. Its an offense driven league and we stink. -
Over the last three games Landry has caught just 11 of 29 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown from Mayfield, well below his career averages for targets and completions. “I think sometimes ball has gone over his head, we just haven't made the connection,” head coach Hue Jackson said. “Sometimes those balls are being thrown away. Do they need to connect more? Yes, they do. “They gotta make those plays when those plays present themselves.”
