  1. I'm guessing Elway loves Josh Allen. I think we could see a Denver and Buffalo trade up to 1-2 for Allen and Rosen (like teh Rams and Eagles a few years back). Cleveland could trade back with Denver and still have 4-5...if the Colts take Chubb, which most assume, the Browns can grab Barkley at 4 and then Darnold or Mayfield at 5.
  2. We drafted Matt Milano at 6-0, 223, so he could be a 4-3 will. I could also see him being used by a creative 3-4 coach like James Bettcher with the Giants. (formerly Arizona)
  3. This 100%. Honestly, I think Terry Pegula feels the same exact way. 5th-6th best quarterback is not going to change a thing. Go get Rosen.
  4. I think DeFellipo really loves Sam Bradford. He also saw a lot of Cousins in the NFC East, so I think they go with either Bradford or Cousins. The Keenum to Denver thing doesn't make a ton of sense, but suppose its a reasonable bridge. There are connections as he started his career with Gary Kubiak, but Kubiak jerked Keenum around quite a bit in Houston. He is obviously in Elway's ear and Kubiak has said good things about Keenum.
  5. It's seems they are meeting with a number of tackles, which is definitely the right move. Whether they consider a trade for Cordy Glenn we are still in need of depth at that position. I think Mills, Glenn, and Henderson will not be on this roster in 2018. But man Miller is blowing it up. Have to go back to the game film because Rosen got hit a lot.
  6. If we can't trade up this is something that I would consider. I think it makes a lot of sense. People like to trade up into the bottom of the first all of the time. I think it really depends who is on the board at the time.
  7. Mayock will flip things like he always does. I think he had DeShone Kizer #1 at this time last year, and moved him a lot (I think he ended at #5)as he started to hear the scouts' take on Kizer. Kiper will remain steadfast and stubborn.
  8. Fairburn says the Bills met with Kolton Miller. Could be a nice fit as a right tackle. He also played with Josh Rosen for three years, so he could definitely give some insight into his character and events over the last few years.
  9. Good points. I think when you make trades you go to the limit that you are willing to go to. I'm not sure you can be too worried about what other people are doing or really what the market value is. If you have a guy you like, you go up and get them. It can sometimes be hard to find people to trade down with, so I think the Giants will be willing to play. Also I think you have to look at the context. The Giants are in a position where a left tackle is extremely valuable to them. Even if he winds up playing 4 more years...If you can get him for however long Eli will be around, it is a win. They can draft more linemen at 21, 22 and address their defensive change from a 4-3 to a 3-4. The Giants were a good team with a terrible line and awful depth. That depth is going to worse with the defensive change. They could fix both of those issues with a trade down and we could see them go from 3-13 to a Super Bowl. They lost their best player to an injury and lost a number of extremely close games. A trade down makes a ton of sense for them. Our GMs and coach have a very close relationship as well. I also think that a number of teams are going to fill the quarterback position with a veteran and I do not think the Bills are one of those teams. I think this makes it easier to trade up. I think if we trade up it will be for Rosen. I'm not sure if everyone is going to love him. I could see the Broncos, maybe the Cards, but I think both of those teams find veterans.
  10. He's a good player no doubt. There must be something wrong with him personality wise. There has to be some intangible that coaches don't like or maybe he's just really dumb or a bad teamate. If his friend who was tweeting on his behalf last year is any indication of the company he keeps, then I could understand why people might stay away from him. Either that or he just wants too much money.
  11. Totally agree. They are in for a tough couple of years in terms of cap management. They will win some games, but not a Super Bowl. I think he is going to totally screw it up.
  12. Just the fact that he is saying that Tyrod would have to compete with Peterman, tells you they are moving on. The rest is coachspeak stuff imo.
  13. I tend to disagree. Most of the OK State wins this year were blowouts. Their toughest matchup was Oklahoma, who beat them 62-52. They also had a really tough loss to TCU. Peterman's senior year featured marquee wins against Clemson and Penn State, plus wins over Villanova, Georgia Tech, Virginia, and a tough loss to Virginia Tech. If you really look closely at the level of competition, it's pretty comparable. In terms of potential, I think Rudolph is Bryce Petty, a guy with some size and physical tools who needs a ton of work. Petty was a fourth rounder. Peterman was a fifth. I guess my argument is that Rudolph is much closer to Peterman, than he is to any of the top guys in this draft. He is a third, fourth round pick in my opinion. I think he is a future solid backup to develop. Also in terms of measurables these were his measurables at the Combine: 6041 229 9 1/8 32 1/2 78 3/4 His hands are tiny for a guy his size. I think Jackson sneaks into the first round the first round.
  14. It could be one of those cases in which everyone already knows that the Bills love him and there is no reason to put up a smokescreen. I think a lot of front offices have really good ideas about what other front offices are thinking. He may be putting teams on notice that they want to trade up. Sure some people may be able to beat us to the Giants pick, but no one else can offer two first round picks this year and a franchise left tackle. There may be no use in beating around the bush at this point.
  15. Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Mayfield, Jackson......huge drop off from there.
  16. I think it's possible. I feel like his small hands and lack of arm strength will turn them off, but I could be completely wrong. How he does on the board with offensive concepts is going to be critical for him. I don't think he is much better than Nate Peterman honestly. Similar arm strength, Rudolph has better size, Nate has bigger hands, Nate had experience in a pro style offense coming in. I don't think Rudolph move s the needle the way the top five guys would, and would therefore be a wasted pick. In the fourth round its fine. I count the top five as Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Mayfield and Jackson. I think there is a huge drop off after them. And I don't think the Bills will be in on Mayfield or Jackson. All just my opinions.
  17. It's smokescreen season, but Beane has repeatedly said that he wants a quarterback who can win games from within the pocket. I like Jackson, I think Mayfield is interesting, I do not think the Bills will draft either. I think their board is Rosen, Darnold, Allen, or punt on this class.
  18. Interested to see what he runs, because he is a dynamic offensive player. He could be a running back at that size. Measurables look similar to Tyrod Taylor, but a little more meat on his bones. He's bigger than Mayfield huh?
