  1. that's back in the day when everyone was in a 5-2/3-4 base
  2. I don’t know much about this guy, but he should pick up the scheme quick with his best years under Ron Rivera
  3. What no weird cringey photo of him with the reflective sunglasses and tough jawline saying "big baller beane"? That one is always fun.
  4. Alright, I like it, all fair well thought out points! I appreciate it!
  5. These guys need to give up those prime single-digit numbers...Bass, Hamlin, Elam, Buchele....
  6. But what if I am right though? Anyway, I get what you are saying and respect it, just sharing my thoughts on the guy. It's my gut. I may be wrong though, and hope I am!
  7. Ok so he is not good. He's not the worst player ever. If this is a vet minimum deal fine. My problem with this is that McDermott tends to turn to old reliable mediocre players he trusts when things don't go well. Having Hamlin around is going to make him pull Bishop when he makes a mistake and that will be counterproductive to his development. Rapp also has an injury history so you are one hit away from Damar Hamlin starting safety again. I was hoping they brought in real safety completion, and I suppose they still could. I just don't like coach having old reliable around because it becomes a crutch.
  8. yeah I dunno. I don't see it. But hope I am wrong! He flashed a couple of times, but not much more than that so far! I was the biggest Spencer Brown supporter there is. I also supported Bernard early on and thought he flashed in that Jets game. I think Bass is terrible. I think we can all have our takes and that's the beauty of freedom!
  9. yeah maybe. I don't think it is a good sign of things to come, but I may be wrong! I hope I am wrong
  10. Alright i'll go back and edit. I triggered some people.
  11. I did not word things well. I am saying no one should expect anything from Carter at this point. We should be adding as many proven guys to that position even if it blocks him. I am not expecting anything from the guy, was my point. Draft blunder may be a little harsh.
  12. Well perhaps he needs your social security number to claim 8 million?
  13. Yeah probably. I just don't include him in my thought process for the roster. Maybe I am wrong. I am sure he will make the roster, but expecting anything I think is also a big leap. They need to add to this position a bunch, even if it blocks him.
  14. he is the true Nigerian Nightmare by way of New Jersey!
  15. Just the fact that when he was healthy he was a healthy scratch behind street free agents is a major red flag for me.
  16. True. I include the trade-down in my thought process. It was a mistake, so far.
  17. Sorry! No one should expect anything from Carter at this point!
  18. He's much better than the rotating bodies of last year. Not the monster 1 the we all want, but there is no risk in these one-year deals, especially since he is a release and not a comp pick guy.
  19. Someone mentioned Ryan Stonehouse. The Titans are not tendering him and he would be a great get. Nice competition between him and Camarda would be great, though I think if you add Stonehouse he becomes the instant starter.
  20. As long as he adds defensive tackles and a legit starting corner, they can go into the draft and really go BPA. That would be refreshing.
  21. Basically, there are three options... 1. He could be the missing piece who will make things better pass rush-wise and hopefully help make Greg better and put us over the top. 2. He's a washed-up steroid using guy whose probably going to get injured and he doesn't like the cold. 3. He's a JAG at this point, solid player but does not move the needle. Choose your destiny! Very good chance one of those is the outcome.
  22. I am a fullback guy, but they don't use him and that's why I feel this contract is a little steep for a special teams player. I know its only 2 million, but its probably a million dollars too expensive. It's fine, and he is totally fine, but they give all of his offensive snaps to Alec Anderson. I'd like to see them use Gilliam more on offense.
  23. Give me Samuel and Dalvin Tomlinson or Greg Gaines or Raekwon Davis and pack it in for the spring.
  24. When Maddy Glab said she had a personal relationship with Palmer from Tennessee....did your mind go to the same place as mine?
  25. before moving on, I’d like to see him gain 15-20 lbs and become the power rushing end we drafted who can play inside and out.
