  1. He does look to be better than check down Alex Smith. He has a cannon for an arm too. I'd take Mahomes over our QB. Its not close. Lets see what he does against bettrr defenses. As for KC, they need to play this way in December & January or its all for not. I'm just not sold on them being sb contenders.
  2. This. We've seen these hot starts by KC before. Eventually, they'll cool down in a big way. With respect to Mahomes, let's see what he does agains better defenses and when coordinators have more tape. In a nutshell, I don't believe in them. I don't see them as a serious SB threat.
  3. Would a Bills win be the biggest regular season upset (Going by the points) in NFL history?
  4. Dude is still on the payroll. What else will he say? Really a comment that can be taken with a grain of salt.
  5. Last I heard, he was on injury reserve. Should be available for cheap around week 9 though.
  6. True. Honestly though, I can't ever see an NFL team's owner allowing this guy on his team. This will be all over sports talk shows over the country tomorrow. I've never seen anything like this....
  7. I'm gonna be pissed if this guy somehow someway is playing defense on a certain team from Foxboro next week.... As for retiring, could this not wait until the end of the game? Come on dude...
  8. Anybody want to try and defend this guy? That's inexcusable. It's disrespectful to your fans, organization, and even the league as a whole. He won't find another job.
  9. The bolded teams aren't as bad as us. I see no way they are competing for the #1 pick. Each have competant QB's. I'd say Tampa, Titans, Browns, Arizona, & Miami. Maybe Jets & Patriots. I say NE because I think Brady goes down with a season ending injury against that elite Jags D. Hoyer stinks.
  10. Not now. But another RB injury will screw them. They made a dumb mistake letting Lewis go. I wasn't very impressed with them yesterday. They are the 90's version of the Bills:Big fish in a small pond (AFC). But once the SB rolls around, they'll face the big fish from the big pond. If they're lucky to make it that far.. Without Brady they are a 4 win team.
  11. I hate to say it, but the dude seems very injury prone...
  12. Bringing in McDermott. Drafting Allen. Kelvin Benjamin.
  13. Better days ahead my friends. I have the upmost confidence in Beane and McDermott.
  14. I still believe we win a SB within five years. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It'll feel much more sweeter because of the tough times.
  15. NHL is a second rate sport. Players have zero personality. There's lockouts every few years. Poor teams in unstable markets. I stopped watching as a casual fan a few years ago.
  16. I hate to say it, but I'm not so sure there would be many tears shed ( Except his family) if he did end up dead. I just don't feel sorry for people that cause havoc on others lives. Some will call me heartless. Oh well.
  17. Yep. Football is a team sport. Frankly, Marino was never the reason his team didn't win a SB. Ditto Kelly. The only SB I thought Jim could've done more was the Giants. But, that was a team "effort". Parcells & Belichick took Marv & the Bills coaches to the woodshed.
  18. Jealous of a passionate fan base. One that lives and dies with their team. Through good and bad. I don't doubt they'll get a full house for every game in 2018. The issue is that they don't bother to show up when the team has a down season. That's not a great market imo. You need a team somewhere that can show support during trying times too.
  19. A reporter wondered if Belichick was possibly worried of: Jimmy G going to the Browns, them unable to re-sign him, and he ends up in the AFC East somehow. Who knows. Personally, my dream as a Bills fan is to win a SB. There was a time in the early 90's where just winning the division was a formality. It was SB or bust. I aspire to get back to said glory years.
  20. My cousin thinks Brady is not better than Kelly. The reason is: A) Kelly was more mobile. B) Belichick is a better coach than Levy. C) 4 straight SB appearances. D) Deflategate/Spygate Can any case be made Kelly is just as good, if not better, than Brady? Jim played in an era that wasn't as kind to Qb's.
  21. Yepp. Even if they win a SB in the next two years ( FML if they do), I say the end is closer with Brady then it would've been with Jimmy G ( Obviously).
  22. They couldn't continue to carry both QB's. Jimmy G was going to get paid. Brady was SB mvp for two of the previous three SB's. He was playing up to an MVP level up to that point. There's no way you trade Brady. It would've been a PR nightmare. The problem I have ( If I'm a Pats fan) was the return for Jimmy G. According to reports, they could've got at least a 1st from Cleveland. But Belichick traded him to a " Better situation" in SF. To me, that's indefensible. You never put one player ahead of the organization. Again, there's no way to know for certain if the Browns offered that.
  23. McD>Jackson Pegulas>Haslam I'll take the Bills
