  1. In season? No After the season (Barring a SB trip): yes
  2. Good point. If losing the division to the Patriots led to major changes, I am all for it. 8 days ago I never considered it a possibility. Now, I am starting to believe it could actually happen.
  3. Firing the HC right now isn't going to happen. Nor should it. If he doesn't get to the SB, I'm definitely out on him.
  4. It felt like the Bills could have gotten five more offensively possessions down one score. Yet, were never going to score. It's scary to think that I had more confidence in the defense instead of the offense in the second half.
  5. I'd rather them be a complete team, get the two seed, and go from there. Instead of getting the one seed by default while having major issues. Four of the last five SB champions didn't need the one seed to win it all.
  6. Definitely Mayfield. It's not just that he wins games. It's that he is doing it without his top receivers. To be honest, Mahomes and Allen have no business being in any MVP conversation right now.
  7. The least he can do right now is fire/demote Babich and take over the defense. They looked much better in the second half. Not ready to move on from him 1/3 through the season.
  8. Allen has been a starter for 7 years. Can he not check out of a dumb playcall on 3rd and 1? He must have some sort of authority
  9. Might have two offensive possessions left at most.
  10. This game is more on the offense than defense.
  11. Babich is just a symptom of the bigger issue
  12. Why in the world did he call a timeout?
  13. Double dip is the only chance at winning this game.
  14. I never did. They have some serious offensive weapons
  15. Have to remember last week was Maye's first huge win in the league. And he's not exactly going against the 85 Bears D today. Will he be in that Murray/Love/Lawrence tier. Or, can he elevate to a top 5 QB? He has all of the physical traits. But the other parts (reading a D, presnap and postsnap recognition, leadership, accuracy) are far more important.
  16. Baltimore might as well just hold out Lamar for the foreseeable future/season. They aren't going anywhere.
  17. Raptors fired Casey and immediately won a title. Bucs fired Dungy. Eagles fired Reid. All of those teams won a title. There have been several instances where a team got a new HC to put them over the top. And sometimes a HC needs a change too.
  18. The Eagles and Bills are both struggling. I've seen the comparison. Very true. Who knows what will happen. But one team has won 2/3 SB's in seven years. An owner who quickly moves off of coaches not getting the job done. A defense that has elite players. Experience. Great drafting. The other has a talent deficiency on defense. Hasn't sniffed a SB. Defense gets shredded consistently in postseason losses. Not so great drafting. If you were forced to choose, which team would you have more faith in to turn it around? It's been nearly three years since the incident. Everyone loves the story. But the team needs to start looking at performance on the field.
  19. I can't even rib my Patriots fan friend because I have no comeback. Me: Patriots won't win the division title nor make the postseason this year. You got a ways to go. Him: I watched my team win six SB titles. Get back to me when your team wins one. Better yet, get back to me when your team stops wasting Josh Allen and can actually get to a SB. The Patriots will be in a SB before the Bills are. I had nothing left to say lol. I can't brag about winning division titles and Allen being elite. It doesn't matter to a fan of a team where winning a title is the only measure of success. Point being, the Bills have really wasted being in a weak division with an elite QB. How much better will Allen be in his 30's. What will be different about McDermott? The QB play has been very good to great in the postseason. The DC's have changed. Yet, the defense regularly gets abused by elite QB's. There is one constant.
  20. I hate this approach: 1. The defense is on the field longer. That will have an impact later on in the game. Tired players. 2. Less offensive possessions. In turn, that means the offense needs to be darn near perfect with the possessions they do get. 3. The strategy will probably work against average QB's. Elite QB's normally make less mistakes. Meaning, TD's instead of FG's. The strategy overall hasn't worked when it matters most. Get guys on D who can get a pick six here and there.
  21. Patriots are still in a rebuilding phase. Maybe by 2027 they can compete for the division. I think they 1-2 the next three games. Only win being Tennessee.
  22. Edelman got open on a regular basis. And they obviously had Gronk who was unstoppable when he was healthy. Welker. Now was Edelman only good and shifty because of who his QB was? Nobody will ever know.
