  1. It's really up to them. I would be surprised to see them play this week.
  2. Yes, it refers to the " Emergencies and Unfair Acts provisions in the Policy Manual for Member Clubs: Game Operations" which provide guidance on how to handle emergencies... I can only find the 2007 version published online at the moment.
  3. The clause that you're referring to is in regards to a game that was postponed and could be played. It give the Comissoner to authority or cancel. In the case of an emergency, a game that can not be rescheduled, the bylaws say the Commissioner can do what ever he sees fit.
  4. I'm having a hard time seeing the Bills play the Pats this weekend. Will be interesting to see what practice does or doesn't look like for either the Bills or Bengals at this point. I could honestly see both teams unable to play this week, and the league resort to winning %. Week 18 would basically be a bye for the Bills and Bengals. They'd have a Wild Card game to win the next week before squaring off, probably in Buffalo.
  5. I understand why you might think that, but I think they made the right call. Even if it was painful and awkward at times. I think staying with it was the most respect they could pay, it really put everything into perspective that the only thing that mattered was Damar.
  6. Deciding major sporting events by a coin toss is not unprecedented in major sporting competitions.
  7. The Commissioner can do whatever he seems appropriate.
  8. That's not what that says. It says if the Commissioner deems it impossible to continue a game due to emergency... The Commissioner has the authority to adjust the procedures in whatever manner the Commissioner deems appropriate... The clause you are citing would seem to give him the authority to cancel a game that could be played, if it has no effect on any other team.
  9. I really have no idea how you can spend an ounce of energy bantering about x' and O's right now. Too soon man, too soon.
  10. In real time I didn't really have a problem with Hurst's move. But on replay you can see what appears to be a conscious decision to launch all of his weight downward into his head area.
  11. Yeah, his marketing rep explained that the foundation also does back to school drives, kids camps and more.
  12. Last night Ryan Clark said he didn't even know he could die at the age of 24. There's definitely an illusion of invincibility when you're young, and especially for pro athletes. We don't know exactly what the Bills saw last night, bc they shielded us from seeing it. But you could see the trauma in their faces after watching CPR and shock treated be administered to their brother to restart his heart. All I know is that was a different level of reality then any of those players have probably been exposed to in their lives.
  13. Two scum bag moves, first from Hurst diving into the back of Taron' s head. Then Hendrickson whipping himself into Josh's legs. I hope they both realize how wrong they were this morning trying to hurt their opponents.
  14. You may have a point, but the link is being shared all over the internet and all over the world. No sense in getting worked up about something that you can't do anything about. For me, I've avoided responded to about a half dozen posts in this thread that started to piss me off bc it isn't worth it. My only thoughts tonight are for the health and well being of Damar, his family, the team and us Bills fans.
  15. He says he's Damars friend and one of his reps.
  16. He did indeed. But he never said this year 😅
  17. The Concern Queens will start making their pitch for being the most concerned Concern Queen of them all.
  18. You're full of it.
