The run game doesn't have to be good to make play action effective. It just has to exist.

The talking heads are loving trashing Staley for blowing the game calling a TO, while pretending like the Raiders were never going to snap another play.

He made a dumb reaction, and Collinsworth backed him up with an even dumber assertion. So it set the narrative. The Raiders were never going to pass on a fg attempt to avoid going to KC.

They didn't call TO with 20 seconds left. They called TO with 38 seconds left with 2 seconds left on the play clock. The Raiders were already in fg range, and we're about to run the ball on 3rd down and the Chargers couldn't stop Jacobs all night. The media loves click bate though.

I think we are better off with a tough schedule. We seem to play up, or down, to the level of competition.

Allen is a threat in the run game. And there's literally only 2 playoff teams with more rushing yards than the Bills this year. But somehow we can't run the ball bc our QB runs the ball.
