Maybe, but the 800 pound gorilla in the room is the oline. They dont have the dogs there this year, especially on the right side. I dont think they will get back to that same level with this oline.

Lets face it, all the pundits are so reactionary this year. Not just for the Bills. Happened to Titans, Hags, and Steelers, hell no one takes the Browns seriously, and they run the ball a hell of alot better than the niners. Lose one game or fail with style points and you're a bum again to these guys. Win one or a couple and suddenly you're great ( Pats, Phins ) . Its crazy this year....

I was thinking of throwing down on this one too. It was a good line, and some ignorant betting has moved it. I dont think you can win consistantly w just being a good running team, again look at the top ten rushing teams. A few .sub 500 teams in there, also a few teams that scare no one. These offenses are just too good. I feel the Bills are a top 5 offense, despite the stats having us at 11. To quote Tasker yesterday, we are very, very good. Can 49ers shut down the Bills? Maybe...but I think too much has to line up for the niners to prevail.

I totally agree. Get them in 3rd and long. This is why its so hard to win by running in today's NFL. They have to put together long drives, but not us. Then you get an offense that can strike quick like Buff, and they can get in trouble. 49ers have a good D but they too, have been blown out and scored on by good offenses. Hell they gave up 25 to the Eagles. Not like this is the steel curtain or anything.

The bright side is that team has 2 MVP canidates on it. Tannyhills slid some, but he was playing awesome.

Ok...but the Niners usually work the edges w the run game and look for the corner. Plus, no one has beaten us like that this year w a bad QB or the pass game clicking. Pats nearly did, but this was a bad weather game. The chiefs have so much talent, Kelce and Mahomes runs on 3rd down killed us. Still had to honor it and could not stack the box. Titans games Tannyhill runs on 3rd down killed us. Cards same. Look up how many rushing yards Mullens has.

We lost that game w turnovers and mistakes. D kept letting up long drives. Terrrible on 3rd downs, where Tannyhill killed us w his legs more than once. What your saying is true, but i do remember feeling we were flat. Of course, we had been very dominant up till then. I totally agree though, the team does not do much for letdowns. They get up for games.

You guys need to realize how much disposable income is centered in the SF Bay area. With Silicon Valley and .com industry it really is insanely wealthy. The betters and bay area money has shifted the lines, not the wise guys. The wise guys liked us @ -3.5 in most spots. Nearly all the wise guy type picks have been picking us. These bay area / silicon valley folks are overreacting to the LA win and buying into the SOB story of adversity from the SC County crap. Put your money on buff and sleep easy.

Eye test, maybe I agree. But we rank #15 in sacks allowed, giving up 2.1 per game, better than '19 where they gave up 2.5. Lets also consider the last few games have been worse for sacks, and the SEA game is a rough outlier for giving those up.

They are not good defensively getting after the QB. Rank 20th or so in sacks....

I agree the turnovers will be the key. Bills just cant let it get ridiculous. I know this is ye old line, but each time the 49ers have beaten a better team, they've turned them over and won turnover differential. Sometimes, like last week (Rams 4 turnovers) and versus the Pats ( 4 turnovers) it got ridiculous. Call me crazy, but I don't see a 3-4 turnover day in a warm dome from this team.

Something else about the Bills Run D... We've played 5 of the top 10 teams in the NFL rushing, of those, we've gone 3-2 against them. We've also beaten the #11 and # 12 Teams in Rushing. So we've gone 5-2 against better rushing teams than the Niners. Again, they are ranked #16 in team rushing.

NFL wants the Pitt game to be the game of the year. Doubt they want us w 4 losses. My take is that a lot of silicon valley disposable bucks are overreacting to a big win versus the Rams. I knew a few of those guys and they loved to gamble and throw around money. They can move the line all they want, the wise guys like us in this one. Sims and Florio dont like us. Man I usually respect Sims, but I cant see this one any different. Not a lot of insight here, save that we struggle versus the run, and that the 49ers are unstoppable w the run ( they rank 16th). Note, that those exact faux run pass plays he talks about, the Bills run too, and frankly they've been executing them better, and more consistantly than the Niners. I see the Bills rolling.

Taking away Deebo is not impossible. I know he's been beat up, and went off last week, but teams have mostly limited him this year.

SF had a defensive score right? There is creedance to the notion they see the Rams all the time, plus Shanny and McVay old cronnies from the same tree. One thing that interests me is SF has decent ST overall, but the kick coverage unit is 25th in yards allowed. Could be a big dre day on a fast field.

They seem to stink in AZ though.
