I feel like too many things need to line up for the Niners to win. Even if they get the rush yards, they will need to turnover the Bills with at least + 2-3 . They will also need to shut down our offense. Bad weather could have favored SF, but now we are in a dome. The Bills have more talent, and despite our gripes, are more consistant. The kicker is our defense, which I think, ranking aside, is more talented than what the niners are feilding. So, in a nut shell I think we are better in all 3 phases. Niners are 25th in kick coverage as well.

So they started the line at- 3.5 and then through the week realized the 49ers defense can rattle Josh and moved it to +1 ? Yep....I bet...😝

So convenient, Pats stay in LA for Thursday night game VS Rams and all that lines up great for them. Typical NFL.

The problem is we want them out of the way for div, but want them to make the playoffs, becuase they are fodder. The worst part is any sane look at that play shows it was set off by a late shove by phins, then another punch by fins, and was clearly a mutual fracus.

You could argue the MG deal was the beginning of the end for bad personel moves for the Patsies. They gave him nearly 7 million per year! Truthfully, they got some solid role play out of Hogan. But that was all he ever was.

Whatever win keeps them away from us. I would rather play the Ravens, Phins, or Raiders over the Browns. But would rather play Browns than Colts, if that means anything.

You build up a hive mind and get enough kool aid drinkers and you dont need to have implicit directions. The system works for itself. Im not saying its real, not in terms of true "fixed" games, but I do feel there are collective "nudges". Sometimes Im not sure about the ebbs and flows there. You could argue the Bills could get special treatment in this game because we've actually produced big numbers in prime time, and have a game next week that could be the singular game of the year.

Im dubious of the notion the Bills have been gashed by power running games/ Teams this year. We were mostly "gashed" by the Chiefs and Cards. Not power running teams...RPO heavy spread offenses. I mean maybe they have a few sets, but the RPOs kill us. So did mobile QBs. The Titans could be called this, but we actually did good against the run in that one until later. We got gashed by the Pats to some extent, was a bad weather game though. That really is the only power running team that gashed us. Im in general agreement on the bottom line though, that the 49ers run offense isnt necessarily the kind of O we have problems against. Also food for thought that the Bills still beat teams that rush on them .

This team is serious. They're not going to go down there and get pushed around.

These are a nice stats, but odd to cherry pick the last 3 meetings. They split in '15 and got swept against a great Falcons team in '16 that blew through everything. The Panthers were 6-10 that year. I dont know if 1-3 tells me much over those two years. The players were so different.
