  1. Which octaves do you consider high?
  2. I'd like to see this normalized in some way for the defenses that we've played against. Also, it's very shallow (and incomplete ) without a more granular breakdown of scheme. I thought the rap 2 years ago was that the way to stop the bills and the chiefs was some disguised cover 2 variant. This data could easily be explained by avoidance of some other set (as opposed to a preference for Man). As an example, if Josh gives reason to avoid Cover 0, then we could show as higher than average for both Man and Cover 2. Also, this analysis doesn't really work for a lot of the split field coverages we've been seeing. It would be great to see if that is called more frequently against us. In summary, this seemed interesting at first glance, but I've talked myself into it not really having any meaningful conclusions.
  3. We used to spend late November proving to each other all the ways that we were mathematically still in it. This place is apparently full of weirdos too? Let them have their misery.
  4. Prior to the season I think it was fair to say the Bills had more questions than in prior years. From a probability standpoint I don't have any issues with someone who viewed them as less likely to go all the way (than '23 or '21). The "Window was still open", but with turnover a down season would have been understandable. Also, there was reason for optimism. "If" several players developed the way that was hoped for, there was enough talent there to think that SB was still a good shot. Call it mini-rebuild, transition year, getting younger, whatever tf you want to call it, but it did happen and could have gone worse. That is a far cry from the few pundits or "fans" that thought the Bills were likely to miss the playoffs. That was and still is an asinine take. As long as a good chunk or the roster returns and Josh is here we should be considered a perennial playoff team with some variance on floor or ceiling. Personally, I thought Center/Guard and Safety were going to hold us back more (I never thought WR was a huge issue or a huge strength). Happy that concerns were for naught. Line play has been shockingly awesome and somehow Safety has been serviceable with ridiculous LB/CB performance making it not matter. I really thought we would need Hyde on roster by this point to solidify a run. With the way our talent has developed I think you can almost claim the Allen's "2nd Window has opened". It's incredibly challenging and requires some luck to not have a down year or two to reset in the course of a QB's career.
  5. Please stay quiet with this
  6. Have you watched the game? We are having a good game against a great defense. If Allen was at his best, instead of merely decent, we would be dominating.
  7. If bills take the #1 seed with the narrative coming into this season Allen will get a lot of the credit.
  8. KC has 2 punts and a turnover. They have failed more than they have succeeded
  9. It's great to have a receiver that can track the ball in the air. That will do a lot for Josh's deep ball
  10. That wasn't intentional, but probably hands to the face
  11. Ball moved quite a bit with the swat as he was stepping out, but I don't think he lost possession.
  12. Oh the days when we had the best punting game in the league. Can we bring those days back for sven please?
  13. I'm glad everybody has caught on and is only asking for 6 points each drive.
  14. While the NFL has discretion over who gets fines, the value of fines was agreed upon by the NFLPA during CBA. The NFL has the latitude to modify from these values in flagrant and "conduct detrimental" cases, but most fines for first offenses follow this schedule. The defined schedule outlines which infractions and the minimum fine for each infraction for a first and second offense. Taunting (what Spencer got) has a first offense fine of $11,255 this year. Striking/Kicking/Kneeing (what Dayo got) has a first offense fine of $11,817 this year. Additionally, first offense fines are limited to 10% of a player's weekly cap hit. Dayo has a salary cap hit of $1,965,577 for a weekly value of 109,198.72. 10% of this is how he ended up with a $10,919 fine.
  15. He's been pretty solid. Not having him as backup is a liability.
  16. I thought it was probable prior to the season starting. It's getting pretty late and decreasingly likely. If it doesn't happen by 12/1 it's not happening.
  17. Sanders is 25/40 (62.5%) for 50+. Bass is 13/20 (65%).
  18. 3rd down that you have to have and don't want to rush it. Good call
  19. Rodgers looks old, but he is far from being what is holding the Jets back (as far as play). It's nearly inexplicable how everyone on the O can just do everything wrong. Absolutely nothing works or goes right for them.
  20. The jets going on a "mini-run" is the best for us. They won't challenge us for division this year, but some amount of success increases the chances of them repeating mistakes next year.
  21. I really thought this was going to be a post about next week.
  22. I'm not sure why KC looks like a cinch. We play them still. We are 3-4 against them over the last 4 years. There is no reason we can't beat them again. If we beat them, we have tie breaker. They would only have 1 game on us in that scenario. With as pedestrian as their offense has looked at times there is no reason that they couldn't lose a few games throughout the season. I'm not calling us favored or anything, but it doesn't really take a huge reach to see us ahead of KC.
  23. 13 yard pickup is waving white flag? It was a good call, it's not like they ran it up the middle.
  24. There was safety coverage coming in. It has to get there quick or it's an int.
