Well, I don't usually do this, but now it's clear that you have no points to make... on to the ignore list. Should have done it earlier. This sorry ass trying to give me investment advice lol -

You have done nothing to defend your Goff year 2 point, and Allen could have that turn around. It's just a sentence to you, and because you uttered it, it must be fact. You should be banned for stupidity. You the softy that reports me? -

You're honestly not worth it. You never read the article. You're not trying to have the discussion. You're ducking it. -

This is what I'm talking about, and why I wouldn't expect Allen to have a 2nd year like Goff with McDermott as the coach. I also prefaced that in my original post with, it doesn't mean they won't be successful but the Goff comparison makes no sense. Here you go, read, and ***** talk football. Not reference my 401k joke, just don't be stupid. Tell me why the Goff comparison year 1 vs year 2 makes any sense with Allen. https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2017/11/30/nfl-los-angeles-rams-jared-goff-sean-mcvay-headset-audible-line-of-scrimmage/ McDermott is never doing that. They are constantly to the line late. But as you said, I don't know what I'm talking about. When all you've done is talked about knee jerk investing, and dumb deflecting ***** because you have nothing but tired cliches. -
Yes. You've made that clear in the McDermott is out of answers thread.

Always deflecting, never answering. You know you don't know what you're talking about. -
Anderson, not praising him, played better than Peterman in those 2 games than Peterman ever played in his career. I have some more bad news, he also played better than Allen played this year. Y'all smoking them funny cigarettes? Odds are, you'll be wrong given this franchise's history. I can't speak for him, I do my fair share of criticizing, we'll probably both be fine with saying I was wrong. I think that will be more of an issue for you. I think you probably never notice it.

No I looked through all of the books and saw every 401k was underperforming versus the market for the past 10 years. Thanks for asking though. A knee jerk investor would say I'm done with the market. I've already given you more of a response than you deserve on some irrelevant bs. Go back to McVay, Goff, McDermott, and Allen. Can you actually answer that question? I already know you can't. Also your point about firing some after the first year, you're essentially making the argument to keep Jeff Fisher after he bombed with Jared Goff. -
The blizzard game was his best game and if he played awful I'd give him a pass. None of what you said were facts, it was the same nonsense as football Gods. Yes LA has a good pass rush, yea the weather was bad. Patchwork blah blah blah *****. Only fact I've seen brought up is 9 interceptions in 81 attempts. That's what matters. Nate also can't throw a 5 yard out. You and that guy have no clue what you're talking about. You're praising a guys accuracy who has thrown 9 interceptions in his 81 attempts. You guys are worse than the Tuel fans.

TNF week 9: Final Battle of the Bay? The Bosa Bowl?

I can't tell whether you're being sarcastic or not. And I don't blame you, I blame the bad play of the Bills QBs, Carr's down 2 years, and Gruden. I'm also not watching that game -

You're right. Perhaps in the next CBA, the NFL will approach it the way the NBA does. Just saying you're cut because you knelt during something you aren't contractually obligated to do would be dicey. I think the owners, fairly, just dont want to be publically involved in politics. However, their employees are public figures and it opens up a whole other can of worms. Whether someone would win a lawsuit or arbitration for kneeling, would just be a PR mess. Some fans will love it, some will feel alienated. I'm not looking up article 42... Perhaps conduct detrimental to the team can include the bottom line. I'm not saying that if someone was cut for kneeling, they'd win a law suit. It'd just be an awful look and a PR nightmare. I'm assuming you are an expert on this, since you called me not one? -

So eh... your job isn't an NFL athlete. I understand the company you work for may have rules against it. The NFL, they don't. So you're comparing apples to oranges. I feel like the people who make this point are people who just disagree with some players and want an easy way to silence them -
Not a fan of him at all. Completely unnecessary, the rule should be changed in my opinion. Make that a first down for the Bills. The way it's called now he can essentially punch him in the face and cost them only 10 yards at the most. It doesn't do enough to discourage that kind of trash. He's just trash. I don't know how anyone shakes his hand after he does stuff like that, but they do.

His pressers are unbearable. He talks down to everyone. The fanbase goes well Belichick does it. Belichick has won superbowls, McDermott hasn't done anything to be afforded that. The national media rightfully laughs at him. He's annoying. I'm fine with him being annoying if he gets it right. I'm just doubtful on that. -
Eh... Beane wasn't here for Poyer, Hyde, or White... I don't think I can point to one good decision on offense, maybe Dawkins? Again, Beane wasn't here for that. They've shown nothing to lead me to believe they know what they're doing there. I'm not sure what they've earned to say this stupid gibberish like trust the process.

No his reading comprehension is just fine. Your writing and point is horrendous. You said that a simple review of arrest statistics where the number of blacks killed by law enforcement where they weren't reason for the action is shows the number is irrelevant. So what you're saying, with no proof of statistics. Btw Great way to really make a point, refer to statistics, say you've reviewed them, but never actually cite them. Your whole argument is why they protest. You said the number of black people killed wrongly by law enforcement is so miniscule that it doesn't even matter. Essentially, I'm sorry we shot your relative, but accidents happen. It is about the most simple view you could take of the protests. It goes so far beyond that for a lot of the players. It's not just, hey don't shoot us. It's about drug laws, inner city schools. I don't agree with all of it, but you hear players say systemic oppression. It's not just about the innocent lives deemed worthless taken by you because they are so few and far between, it's about putting people in a better position to succeed. Again, I don't agree with all of it, but that's the point they'd make. Your view of it is just so narrow minded. I'm not saying they are right, but you don't even try to get it. -
I MADE A BET WITH MY FRIENDS. WOULD YOU TAKE THIS BET?
Ol Dirty B replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's a fun bet. None of them are winning it in the foreseeable future. You could honestly set a dollar a week to the side and cover it if you have to ever pay. I'd take it. Why not. -

Do you know why McVay is so successful with Goff? And had that turn around in year 2 versus year 1? There's a theory out there, and it's not going to happen in Buffalo with McDermott as his coach. I'm not saying Allen can't pan out, but the way Goff developed isn't happening with this defensive minded coach who can't manage an offense. Just throwing Goff's name out their and saying "hey maybe Allen can do it" isn't really a legitimate point for why Allen will be good. They've invested a first round pick on a QB. Traded up for Zay, traded a 3rd for Benjamin... I guess potentially bad investments are just ignored? Do you manage my 401k? Cause I fired that dude and he was kind of saying the same junk. -
I agree with a lot of your posts. I think you raise some great points. I am not a fan of McDermott. I own that. However, I try to give him credit where I feel it is due and admit when I'm wrong. I don't like that he made his way in the league through the defensive side of the ball. Yet it's really unfair to hold that against him, that's on ownership. So far, he's done a great job with the defense. The only part I disagree with, is that he's not valued more, his opinion on personnel decisions isn't more impactful than Beane's. I don't know who gets to reccomend who their Boss is going to be. Even by professional sports standards, off the top of my head, I can only think of Kobe and LeBron. It's an NBA thing. I understand your view that a coach and GM need to be on the same page. But I just find the whole thing backwards. It's just ownership. They're a disaster. McDermott got Beane the job, Beane should be responsible for evaluation of McDermott's performance. Can you envision a scenario where Beane fires McDermott? Then hires the next head coach? If Allen doesn't pan out, they're both gone. It's just a mess. How does Beane look sitting in the box next to Terry, and start whispering in his ear, Terry, McDermott has to go on a sunday. You hire a GM, you let him hire the coach because you trust them, and then that individual is responsible for the coach's performance. What you don't do is hire a coach and place them above the GM twice in 3 years. They did that with Rex, and they did it with McDermott. They've always undercut GMs and made them look powerless as owners of the Bills.

I think you should have bolded the other part. What person utters the sentence "The guy I almost assaulted was incomprehensibly disrespectful"? And thinks they are in the right regarding a football game... The question now, is assault worse than incomprehensible disrespect? Also how do you know it is disrespect if it's incomprehensible?

I don't know. It is a bit of an interesting stat. Why can't some of you just laugh at ineptitude? Or find humor in it... Guy did some good research. I somehow refuse to watch Army, or the Army-Navy game. Those games are awful. Thanks for the service though... Yet I make this team appointment television 16 weeks a year.

I think a middle ground should exist... I don't like the atmosphere at times, because I know a lot of people who aren't big Bills fans go to the game to essentially go to a rager. So they'll cheer and be loud for five minutes, but once it goes bad, it's back to the beer and leaving the stadium once they stop serving. I don't think you having to be restrained from an opposing fan makes you much better. If they gloat I'll give them *****, but I'm not getting into a physical altercation because my football team lost. I get that you care, but... having to be restrained? So you chased a guy who had a ticket out of the stadium because he was saying something bad about the Bills? I've been there with opposing fans, I mean not restrained, but just getting crap. I say something dumb like if the Bills don't come back I'll buy you rogaine, or hair plugs. Just some dumb insult, I don't harass them out of the stadium. I go to games with fans of other teams a lot. Sometimes it's fun seeing them get *****, and a lot take it well. What's not cool is when the Bills fan can't take a ***** joke after watching some bum get harrassed for 6 hours.

I think that's a fair view. We'll never hear from Terry though on these remarks in my opinion. It's just odd that he'd single put Terry Pegula and be making stuff up. He's a small market owner, he's not going to make headlines. I'm just unsure of what motivation he'd have other than stating how he sincerely feels. Perhaps it's an issue of miscommunication or misunderstanding. Maybe it's not a direct quote but the vibe he got from Terry's remarks. I could see Terry not explicitly saying that, but where Reid could read between the lines of him saying we want to end this protest. We don't want to be the bad guys and we want you guys to be the face of it. Total hypothetical, but how I could see everyone in the room feeling different about the interaction. If Reid was trying to just be in the news, or draw attention, he'd have said it was McNair who said it in my opinion. Given what McNair was in the news for regarding inmates running the asylum or something along those lines. I'm not a huge fan of Kaep. I will say though, the more I listen to Reid speak. I think he is sincere. He's a safety, they don't value him in this league. He's not on Nike's books getting paid while acting like he lost everything. I find the whole situation very interesting. I'm not sure how he can call Jenkins a sell out and getting the movement co-opted, while Kaep did it on an even worse level. He sold the cause for some shoe company that has a bad history as far as human rights and labor goes. It's just odd that a guy would act like he sacrificed everything for human rights while taking checks on the low from a company that is awful. By the way, I still buy Nike. I get that's how it works. I just think maybe kaep should stand, or kneel for the kids in Vietnam making pennies for a company worth Billions charging 300 for shoes marketed towards specifically African Americans, many of which unfortunately of lower income. He'd be better off getting a degree in finance, and volunteering in inner cities if he's genuine. Sorry, done rambling. Edit- one last thing. Jenkins sold the cause out to get his own charity funding. I thought some self interest was there, but I think that funding will do some good. Kaep got co-opted for a paycheck for himself. It's all convoluted and a mess but I find it really interesting to follow.

Based on what? Because you're a Bills fan? Blind faith is a hell of a drug. Wow... retarded children, and not only are they retarded children, they're retarded children that are also throwing a temper tantrum. Which is a really weird sentence. I don't think I've ever thought "hey that kid with disabilities is really annoying over their throwing that temper tantrum". It's just a bit gratuitous. I've noticed this trend in people who are Beane and McDermott fans. They get really angry when you criticize them. Yesterday some guy, I think he was serious, he accused me of being mentally ill. Maybe I am, I don't know. Maybe he's a really smart guy, but the retarded children and posts like that other dude was making just make you look bad. I'm guilty of saying dumb things too. But damn I've never put retarded children throwing temper tantrums into a sentence. That's some next level stuff.
