    OK Hear me out! LOL. Bills beat Jets and win division next week! Browns at home beat Bengals. Broncos at home beat Chiefs (afternoon game and if Titans beat Jaguars and clinch bye in early game)? All would mean Bills as 2nd seed.

    I agree. He's well traveled but had a couple of good years as a depth DT in Jax to start his career. I'm hoping he is the kind of guy that can get signed to come to camp and compete for a cheap DT spot.

    If I was still a betting man i would put money on Star wanting to retire after this year. That makes it, after the Bills agree and settle with him, a lot more in cap savings than an outright cut.

    All possible but Brandon Scherff could want a lot more than $8.5M. Spotrac has his value at $12.7M on a 5year contract and bottom teams might pay more than that. Just saying.

    Scherff has made some big money the last 3 years and definitely wants to move on. He would have to sign a really good team friendly contract if he wants to go for a ring in Buffalo. Let's hope that's what he wants to do.

    My opinion doesn't count but it seems he deserves to start. If things go south Feliciano can come in. I would like to know how much in the past Bobby Johnson's input is used by McDermott as to who starts. None of us know if a guy like Bates hasn't played much because of one or the other or both. Wouldn't that be a good question from the media for McDermott?

    Well said and worth more than 2 cents. As for Star and football I hope he can play well and help the team the rest of the season. After this season and what happens then is best left until spring.
