  1. LOL you are totally right, and I bow to your wisdom. The Bills should be the 1st team in NFL history to have All Pro HOFer's in every position. I mean really, how hard can that be! Seriously, the Bills lost to an inferior team. There are a ton of bad things in "hindsight" that caused it. As a fan I'll watch next Sunday's game and hope the "team" plays better (or they can lose again). That's the way sporting events go. The Bills put together an organization that has them able to be on top of the hill. Getting up there for a moment is very hard. It's also extremely hard to stay up there. If you lose focus for just a moment another team wanting to get there will knock you down. It's as simple as that for me.
  2. Your thead is way off in its reasoning IMO. Maybe you should look at it from the concept of a "team". The team wins and the team loses. Josh could be replaced with a player like Mahomes. Every player on every team could be replaced with another player. It's about winning with the "team" that you have. A GM gathers the players, the coaches plan the way the team plays, and the players go out onto the field and play the game. Yesterday was a perfect example on how a team can win and a team can lose. The Jets outplayed the Bills as a team. The Bills lost because they did not play up to their potential.
  3. Wow. Go ask your mother for a hug.
  4. Not much but he is QBing a good football team, so you got to let it play out.
  5. No. Josh has to keep his "$hit" together all the time or he can revert to old habits.
  6. Andy Reid can't defend the run. How's that for a "hot take"?
  7. This IMO is backwards. The Bills have never been in a chance to have a "slump" (17 years) UNTIL McDermott got here. He preaches over and and over and over that it's one game at a time. He pushes these guys that "the next game is THE most important". This game, in the way it unfolded, is why he says it's all on the players to keep it "hungry". Does anyone on this board think the Bills would have played the Chiefs today the way they played the Jets this afternoon? I can't see that. It's all about not bringing your best "every week" thing, to me.
  8. LOL. In a way you are totally correct IMO. Josh and all the other Bills players getting interviews nonstop all week, every week, are listening to their press clippings. I kind of hope he isn't growing that 'stash to cut it off in a Gillette commercial. If you get my drift. Fans say there is no "trap game" but that is the wrong term. It's about thinking you are so superior that you think you won't lose. All teams that are being praised by the media and Vegas are destined to have to play up to that yardstick. That yardstick is tough to achieve. Josh and the Bills have to go back to the basics in their minds and emotions or jeopardize the bye in the AFC. I think McDermott and the organization will get a grip on this very soon. If they don't it could cost the season. My points are not meant to be nothing other than what good teams have to face all the time.
  9. Couldn't disagree with you more. Miami will get a lot of talk, but the Bills will still be talked about throughout the season and playoffs.
  10. The TSW posters being "chicki" demean his skills just do so by playing the odds. The odds are not in favor of these players but when they do produce, they blend into the weeds. Blackshear is a football player. I wish him the best.
  11. McDermott does not call the plays. Where is your brain? Do you know this team?
  12. Well things couldn't be going any more bad as they are right now. It's been created by Josh and he has to right the ship!
  13. So how is the GDT going. You guys staying calm?
  14. What is happening with the Chargers?
  15. Not good at all. Josh is still tight for some reason.
  16. Yep, and while we're at it, Go Colts!
  17. The hope for me is no injuries today and that Poyer, Milano and Tre are all a go for the Vikings.
  18. As for the Monday Night game. Anyone giving the Saints a chance to beat the Ravens? I don't have a lot of faith in them, even with all their talent (which I'm starting to think is over-rated).
  19. I was giving it a 50/50 chance that he would be active, but with 11 DBs it makes sense for one more week.
