As long as we live, it's you and me baby There ain't nothin wrong with that. Well we're movin on up, To the east side. To a deluxe apartment in the sky. Movin on up To the east side. We finally got a piece of the pie.
  4. The telephone is ringing You got me on the run I'm driving in my car now Anticipating fun I'm driving right up to you, babe I guess that you couldn't see, yeah yeah But you were under my wheels honey Why don't you let me be? 'Cause when you call me on the telephone, sayin' Take me to the show And then I say honey I just can't go The old lady says I can't leave her home.
  5. In many places in upstate NY the amount of testing has recently increased significantly, which may be the cause of the increasing numbers of cases. I have been tracking the number of hospitalized as a benchmark. In my area (Oneida County, the heart shaped county in the heart of New York) the number in hospital has been hovering around 30 for over a week. I will get worried if that number goes up. https://hoccpp.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/d88f4e10d59d4553b24c3add5abcbb0b
  6. Me too! I’m Graybeard and Gray Beard. Not to be confused with Greybeard, who is somebody completely different. Graybeard is tied to a defunct email so I couldn’t reset my password. I started over as Gray Beard. No imagination. Maybe the OP should follow my lead and change his name to New Era.
  7. Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance With the stars up above in your eyes A fantabulous night to make romance 'Neath the cover of October skies And all the leaves on the trees are falling To the sound of the breezes that blow And I'm trying to please to the calling Of your heart-strings that play soft and low And all the night's magic seems to whisper and hush And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush
  8. Jam up and jelly tight My, my, my, my baby Now you're outta sight Jam up and jelly tight You look a little naughty But you're so polite Jam up and jelly tight You won't say you will but There's a chance that you might

You keep saying you got something for me Something you call love but confess You've been a'messin' where you shouldn't 've been a'messin' And now someone else is getting all your best These boots are made for walking And that's just what they'll do One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you
  12. Take your baby by the hand And make her do a high handstand And take your baby by the heel And do the next thing that you feel We were so in phase In our dance hall days We were cool on craze When I, you, and everyone we knew Could believe, do, and share in what was true Oh, I said Dance hall days love
  13. He barely made the sweeping curve that led into the steepest grade. And he missed the thankful passing bus at ninety miles an hour. And he said "God, make it a dream!" As he rode his last ride down. And he said "God, make it a dream!" As he rode his last ride down. And he sideswiped nineteen neat parked cars, Clipped off thirteen telephone poles, Hit two houses, bruised eight trees, And Blue-Crossed seven people. It was then he lost his head, Not to mention an arm or two before he stopped. And he slid for four hundred yards Along the hill that leads into Scranton, Pennsylvania. All those thirty thousand pounds of bananas.
  14. Whoa thought it was a nightmare Lord it was so true They told me don't go walking slow The devil's on the loose Better run through the jungle
  15. Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe Help to make the season bright Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow Will find it hard to sleep tonight
  16. I want the world to see I don't care when it will be There's no doubt I wanna go to the sun, everyone Yeah, you start to look old Sand and sea, we'll do it endlessly I will never, turn it away Well, salty air, seagulls everywhere I wanna live there one day
  17. I didn't know what day it was When you walked into the room I said hello unnoticed You said goodbye too soon Breezing through the clientele Spinning yarns that were so lyrical I really must confess right here The attraction was purely physical
  18. My daughter lives in NE CT. There are a couple of places in Granby that are usually packed with cars in the summer. It’s crazy. My wife likes to go to White Flower Farms. She drops a ridiculous amount of money there.
  19. There's a loving in your eyes all the way If I listen to your lies, would you say I'm a man without conviction I'm a man who doesn't know How to sell a contradiction You come and go, you come and go
  20. On a rattlesnake speedway in the Utah desert I pick up my money and head back into town Driving cross the Waynesboro county line I got the radio on and I'm just killing time Working all day in my daddy's garage Driving all night, chasing some mirage Pretty soon little girl I'm gonna take charge The dogs on main street howl 'Cause they understand If I could take one moment into my hands Mister, I ain't a boy, no, I'm a man And I believe in a promised land
  21. I would have guessed that he was older. RIP
  22. I took down an above ground swimming pool and the deck next to it last summer. The deck rested on 20 concrete pilings that each stick out of the ground about 6 inches. I’m in the process of using some of the pressure treated lumber that was leftover from the deck demolition to enclose those pilings and make raised beds as a way to hide them. I’ll have flowers and vegetables. So far I know sunflowers and tomatoes. I’m not sure what else. I would like to grow lettuce and snap peas. The problem is the squirrels and rabbits. Squirrels are everywhere, and I can look out in my back yard and see 3 or 4 rabbits just sitting in the sun. There are probably more in the bushes. When I plant a vegetable, they eat it.
  23. At my bedside empty pocket A foot without a sock Your body gets much closer I fumble for the clock Alarmed by the seduction I wish that it would stop Tempted by the fruit of another Tempted but the truth is discovered What's been going on Now that you have gone There's no other
  24. I don’t like the stripes on the shoulders that come out of nowhere and then abruptly stop. It looks cheap to have the stripe only on the piece of material at the top of the shoulder.
