  1. Political commentary aside, he wants to be a starter and paid as one as well. He wasn’t all that good at the end of his career and would be a back-up. Not worth the money or the attention and distraction he’d be every week. This is is a non-story and needs to go away.
  2. The prediction was for 2-5... "I’ll bet 800 of my rep points the Browns are no better than 2-5 by October 20. Any takers?" So there was actually no better time to post the prediction. He could have waited til after and taken no accountability if he was wrong, or gloated after he was proven right. He's actually putting himself in a position where he has to take accountability which is sorely missing from these boards. I don't know you, but if i can use the boards MO to properly predict your response it will either be complete silence or some sort of post using moot points to somehow get you out of actually admitting you posted before knowing the facts. There's a saying in the English south "you have to put your mind in gear before you drive your mouth."
  3. I really hope this rep point betting is enforced.
  4. It not okay with me! No one’s going to sit here and tell me what day of the week I get to crush on a man!
  5. Got to agree here. Sthustle kind of making everything PB about himself. Not a good look.
  6. I never once considered the players. Just us, the fans. You think I posted this so Josh Allen would see it? But following your logic no college/nfl rivalry should ever matter to players. “Who cares? Happened before I got there?” Why would any player care about anything that happened to his team before getting there? Why care about the team or city at all? Meh... myopic take, IMO. Point being, bye week. And the revenge is for us. I want to watch the Bills D beat ‘em into the dirt for four quarters. I’ll take great pleasure in it. Especially the Cowboys.
  7. Okay, and? Does that include the Music city miracle? No. Was it the 100th NFL season where they're making a point to show our old miseries before and during every game? No. Do you have a better observation on a bye week? I swear, bunch of wet blankets around here. "Why do we need christmas this year, didn't we have christmas last year?!" Good lord.
  8. If you keep reading the thread you'll see i've already addressed that. they had their moments, they had their chances.
  9. the thing is those HOF'ers had their moments and they squandered them with too much partying. Most of the good players on Evan's years were completely wasted and their football lives have become a once a decade "remember this guy" thread. ouch., really...
  10. Meh... cheap joke. If English is your first language you'd know that the premise is strongly insinuating that the OP wishes they could have been in their prime together on this team. I agree with him. Lee Evans was completely wasted on those teams. Schobel too for that matter. This made me chuckle.
  11. Oh god, gag me with that tired ol' Stripes reference. As far as 80's comedies go that's 99 cent clearance bin fodder. You need to step your game up. Also, "thank you very little."
  12. Can you start a thread about how you only care about the next game so that i can come in all myopic like and say i only care about getting revenge on the GBTRC's? I do appreciate all of the hard work you're putting in focusing on the next team, i know it'll pay off in spades come game time. You know, because what we fans think about during the week affects games.
  13. What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? The players are the Buffalo Bills. Do you follow the players or the team? I don't know about you but as soon as a player signs somewhere else they're dead to me. The charging (and sometimes standing) Buffalo remembers all.
  14. Oh... then... no. How about that? Just no.
  15. Turns to Nanker, says "That was before mostly all of those events even happened. Not sure how that correlates." Then sweeps his leg Johnny Lawrence style! I get that humans naturally like to pull things apart, etc... but since Aaron Hernandez has already proven you're not allowed to murder back, beating them in a football game will just have to do. Fun response though.
  16. Meh... I'm over them. I've accepted they're the class of the East for now. We punished them for years, they're now punishing us for years. We've never been good together. Doesn't even feel like a rivalry to me. Just a big brother beating up his younger brother on a national stage occasionally.
  17. The blows already been dealt. Nothing you can do about that. What you can do is punish them with your D for four quarters. Time has already lessened the blow. Now i just want to beat 'em up.
  18. I was going through our schedule and something jumped out at me. This season has a chance to be the ultimate 80's-90's revenge tour for the Buffalo Bills organization. It's a good time to have one of the best D's in the league. I hope the Offense can catch up because i'd like to get the clean sweep. I know there are a few teams that we can make cases for that aren't on it (Kansas City for beating us to go to the first Super Bowl), and a few that are on the schedule, but this revenge tour is leaning a bit late 80's - 90's. I almost threw in the Steelers because of the notorious backup game, but i was looking for heavier hitting events. I've left off the division rivals because, well, outside of the 90's rivalry with the Dolphins, everything's mostly been one sided by one team or the other. Giants: 1991 (First Super Bowl) - check Bengals: 1989 (Beat us in the AFC Championship) - check Titans 1999 (technically 2000, but close enough, Music City miracle) - check Redskins: 1992 (Second Super Bowl) Cowboys: 1993 & 1994 (Third & Fourth Super Bowl) Now i'm not saying that this means we're going to the super bowl or anything like that, but if we can get the clean sweep of these teams in one season, that could be pretty satisfying. Also, i guess i wouldn't be opposed to a long run into the playoffs.
  19. There are entirely too many of these posts. I was actually one of the people that wanted to see Dareus go but I never thought about making a told you so post about it. The internet seems to have a way of making the fan base so easily try and blast any and all fellow fans with each and EVERY move. Luckily this seems to mostly be a board thing I always have a great experience at the tailgate, games, and bars with fellow fans. Not sure where the constant crow serving comes from but we’re all adults and are fans of the same team.
  20. Aren’t they all at that age?
  21. I forget how it works. Can a team snipe a player off your practice squad if they’re willing to activate them to their starting 53?
  22. A buddy of mine at work is a 9ers fan and went to the Bengals game. He showed me pictures of all the empty seats at that start of the game. It was their home opener! By halftime there were more open seats than occupied. Ridiculous.
  23. Hey guys, just walking by, thought I’d stop in and see what’s going on in here... oh... *slowly backs out* *closes thread* *destroys computer* *cleans hands thoroughly* *runs away to live the rest of his days in the Canadian wilderness*
