  1. I am amazed how the board has changed in the last two months. It was all Mason ,Mason I will not watch the  Bill's ,I am done with them and now it is Baker ,Baker who is is the Idol of the board. I know that there is a feeling of mistrust with our front office but there is hope . Look at last year. They have stabilized the franchise and have put us in a most favorable position with their trades , signings, and cuts  last year and this year. We will have cap space next  year. We are in the best position of all 32 teams as far as draft picks this year.Trust your GM , after all he is the one  who has to be  more knowledgeable than us. He is the one who's job  is on the line. So far he  has done a remarkable job , in my opinion. So whomever he chooses , I will  be in line with his decision no matter whether he was my choice or not.

I think it has to happen during the draft. First spot is 2. The next spot is 4 to get in front of the Broncos, then it is that 7-10 range before the Dolphins and Cards. That said, if you can get the Giants to trade you two, then you could make the move now. Problem with that is that you are giving the Jets a chance to jump you at 1.

If Beane and Gettelman have  agreed to a trade, there is no reason to announce that now. The Jets could go and offer the Browns the moon to trade down 2 spots. If Beane and Gettelman are working a deal or have a wink wink deal in place, their relationship would allow them to go  into silent mode about it to keep the Jets from knowing and can make the trade on the clock.

If there is a deal, it behooves Gettelman to keep it quiet so that NY media doesn't tear apart the trade for the next four weeks. He takes that opportunity from them and let's the media continue to talk about the Jets.

I think that the Bill's  have in place a series of trades with teams  that will get them to the #2  pick, meaning a trade giving the # 12 and collateral for # 4 thru # 6 pick , preferably # 4 ,and if  Cleveland picks the right person that the Bill's didn't want  , then the second part of the pre-negotiated trade takes place. It will of course take place on  draft day.

I don't do film observation, so I wouldn't presume to critique the work that Gunner has done, but his grade on where these QBs should be drafted has zero impact on where they will be drafted.  The incredible need that NFL teams have to find the right quarterback when there are not enough to go around results in them being drafted far higher than grades based solely on their mechanics, measurables and college production might suggest for a draft position.  I'm pretty sure Gunner would agree with that too.

That is a given, I wouldn't be surprised if 4 go in the top 5 picks.

  4. Mill's , i believe was not alone , McDermott must have known that , and stifled the thing  right there. He is smart enough to handle it  internally and I don't doubt the players involved were read the riot act  singularly  and know if they pull any more stunts  they are history. I said in another post in the last couple of days that it didn't take a genius to figure it out. Too bad that some of you are so blinded by hate for Peterman that they are still trying the same  O, same O tired diatribes.

Come on man, he just pretended that he couldn't match up against a great player like Bosa.

So very unfortuNATE that he sabotaged Putrid Peterman's debut.

    See what i mean

  5. Why don't you Peterman haters just go and kick the dog,.  (You are probably afraid of your wife ) when you want to vent on somebody. It is getting pretty old and your synopsis of the Charger game is NOT what happened. Peterman was responsible for two interceptions. The fullback was responsible for one and the  "" lookout " blocks for the other two. Ask Joey Bosa about the blocking .He said, "They didn't block me",  " They  didn't block me ." It should not take a genius to figure out why , " They didn't block me." happened.

  6. I think  Beane will go all in if a QB interests him. If you pansie,s that want to  take non QB's with the picks , you will be the first ones to holler if one of the top four turns out to be a franchise QB. I trust Beane and I think that no one knows which QB that they  want. Personally I would take Allen first  and let him set for a year. But , what do I know , I am like everyone else on the board with an opinion which doesn't mean a whole lot. We have the picks, go for it.

  7.  If Beane determines that he should move up in the draft, He should go after Clevelands number 1,. Like I said in a post about a week ago. Things have changed since last week. He can offer the  two number i's,   a number 2 a number i from next year and a number 2 from next year and if that is not enough a number 3 from this year. Then Beane is in charge .That leaves the Bill's with a 2,3,4,5,5,6. this year and a top of number 3 next year, and a 100 million cap space. It also provides the Brown 's with some breathing room for their draft picks.

  8. I think that Beane will announce the trade up on draft day if the player he wants is still there. The Browns with the first pick can take anyone they fancy, including the four QB's and the one RB. Probably, Gettleman will want to wait  to to see if Barkley or Darnold are there. So the deal is possibly in place now but it is dependent on what Beane wants and if they are still there.

    Assuming the Giants covet Barkley:

Then we trade up to Browns for #4. Then we flip #4 to Giants. That way we get our QB and the Giants get Barkley because it is obvious the top 3 will pick QBs.

If the Giants just want to swap up to 12 then give them our 12,22 and 4th and next years 1. We don’t need next year’s picks as much as this year’s because we have 100 million to spend and won’t have a sunk QB cost. I would be all for dumping more picks next year than this year if possible.

This has a lot of validity , in that we would not need the draft picks as much next year and the Giants , with three  number one draft picks and whatever we give them beyond , are in a position for cap problems if we didn't spread it over two years. I will still trust Beane though.

After listening to the presser I think Beane and staff will set the values for the draft and stay within their board.  I really do believe that he’s ready to roll with McCarron as a very feasible contingency if trading up just doesn’t meet the value of their board for the player, assumed to be QB, that they are targeting.  I like the approach.

I think that they are going to trade up to get "their " QB . McDermott will evaluate which QB, between Peterman and McCarron , through camp and preseason. The result will be our QB for 2018.

  11. Trust the Process. We have not seen  a GM since the Polian or Butler days , that gets us players and makes us better, You do not, or I do not know what Beane is going to do, but he will lead us to the draft and will trade up to get us a QB , if that's want is in the cards. I do not think there is one of you on this board that could be in Beane's  position and successfully trade up without giving away the store. We can vilify the picks , as fans do , but it is always on Monday morning. It is fun to speculate on players , but the people on the board that positively say that ,  if they take a player that is not one they want ,that " they are all done with the Bill's." And who appointed you GM. I am all in with McBeane , with what they have done last year and of what they then have done this year.

  12. I wonder what the number one and number two,  antagonists for Peterman are going to to do now as  Peterman and  McCarron are 5th round draft choices and allegedly do not have superior arms. The  choice is between the two. One is going to start.

McCarron's contract calls for him to make 4.9 mil. in 2018 , if he doesn't beat out  Peterman for the starting job , no problem. Where do  you get a backup  QB that cheap , plus he will be able to tutor Allen or Rosen.I really do not see the hate on Peterman , especially when McDermott seems to be in his corner..I know where it started and why but , that is an issue that is gone. SOOOO I would hope you Bill's Fans would try to root for anybody one the roster and the rest of you go on to grossing in private.
