Does a horrible Jets punt make me feel any better about our awful punting?

So now we run Moss up the middle for 2.

What if I told you there was a running back averaging 5ypc and had over 50 yards in 1 qtr against this defense and he was on our team ....................... maybe they should use him. Again take away the holding call his his last two runs were both over 6 yards.

...... and the 20 incompletions.

I guess we're saving him for the 4th qtr or something ......

Why are we doing everything except running Singletary? Allen throws a dozen straight incompletions and now we bring in Moss to run the ball.

35 passes 165 yards .............. 14 runs 74 yards .......... guess we keep throwing.

No offensive holding put us there and two incomplete passes later we punt. Two 7 yard runs was not the problem.

I love Josh don't get me wrong but he's had arguably one great game the whole second half of the season and luckily it was the NE game. He makes throws you won't see anyone else make but he's also very erratic regardless of us running a lot or not.

You mean the guy who has 12 carries for 61 yards?

I don't like that our best punt returner is our starting safety but it might be the truth.

Our defense is manic sometimes.

Very nice. Higher on the list of teams we didn't want to see in the playoffs.

Motor was on pace for 1,000 yards as of week 4. The problem was never Motor they just went away from him and took way too long to come back. Now they are running more and getting better at it the more they do it. Yes Moss will benefit from that also but Moss is the epitome of a one cut runner where as Motor has a lot more wiggle. As far as us nonperforming by two wins we are were in the red zone and came up short of putting the game away at least 3 times. We are probably 3 plays in those games from having 3 more wins.

I haven't watched him playing for the other teams but when he played for us he would be better at run defense than anyone we currently have playing DE and as good at getting to the QB as any of them also. Rousseau is the only guy we have that seems like they have a legit chance at becoming a real pass rusher but he's not there yet and the rest of them sellout and only get there some of the time. Lawson was a decent "collapse the pocket" type of pass rusher got there often enough to be a threat. He wouldn't get paid like Addison or Hughes but I bet he'd be more productive than either of them.

I never thought Hughes would be so invisible. I've read about his pressure "rating" and other articles saying hes doing something but I have to say when I watch any video I just don't see him showing up at all. Even the young guys have a splash play here or there.
