  1. Considering how many late season TD's Allen has typically scored I wouldn't concede him being able to score 11 td's. That said I'm glad Cook has been doing more of the TD scoring and I hope it continues.
  2. Winfield Jr is ranked lower than Hamlin and has given up less catches and has less missed tackles and was the highest graded safety in the league last year. Hamilton has given up 39 receptions and 13 missed tackles and given up a passer rating of over 100 and is the 4th ranked safety on their list. When someone uses PFF grades as an argument for how bad or good someone is it's hard to take anything else seriously. Lots of opinions offered but I haven't seen one good argument as to why Hamlin isn't doing a good job at safety. I'd agree he's not Ed Reed or a young Micah Hyde but for the cap space we're using on Hamlin you'd be hard pressed to find a better player. You can't pay everyone on the roster 10 million dollars.
  3. I'm willing to bet she has some skills you don't tell your mother about ................
  4. There ya go ...........................
  5. Outside of the TD's technically Coleman had more yards and catches in the last 4 games he played.
  6. Manti Te'o thinks it's legit.
  7. Being able to dedicate the money else where and still have two capable starters means a lot. We're probably saving in the ball park of 15 million dollars and getting arguably better safety play than last year. When you run nickel and dime more than any other team in the league your safeties are going to do a lot of tackling.
  8. This will go over like a fart in church ............ some people love to hate on our safeties.
  9. Shakir oNlY CatChes ShORt PAsseS!!! So he's not a great WR?
  10. Is Davidson the TE that was tearing it up in camp? Glad to have him now.
  11. When was the last time we had a RB run for 10 TD's? Love that we are dangerous with every aspect of our game. WR's as a group stepped up. Defense stepped up. Great win.
  12. Thanks for pointing out Shakir plays from the slot. A point I made before this thread died out weeks ago. Nearly every pass catcher in the top 25 for this stat is either a TE or a slot WR. Only 3 out of the top ten in this stat have an average targeted air yards of over 6. It's totally dominated by slot WR's and TE's. Nearly all of the best outside WR's have terrible separation stats and are great WR's. Look at the list of worst separation and it's a who's who of good outside WR's. So the stat doesn't mean anything. Especially in terms of outside WR production.
  13. Shakir and Kincaid both average more separation than Chase. Shakir is leading the league at the WR postion. Hollins averages as much separation as Cooper. Other than arguing the stat itself it translates very little to on the field and wins and losses. Of the 3 worst WR's from a separation as a stat perspective two of them are Harrison Jr and AJ Brown who both play for and are the leading WR's on division leading teams
  14. Could someone please tell me one reason why WR separation (as a stat) means anything.
  15. I know when we played Seattle Dodson was getting worked. Several big plays were him not being in his lane. Maybe he just didn't get Seattle's scheme. It took him some time here maybe he just didn't get it there. Either way if he can come back and play here like he did before he left he'd be a nice addition.
