  1. Preach! Near sighted naysayers who need everything to be instant will of course disagree. The 5 wins happened and people still got drunk. Now they wanna cut their nose off to spite their face. In 2 yrs if the draft capital busts and we are still looking like this fine - move on. Until then, let em do their thing!!
  2. Lol, you Cray Cray HARDCORE!! I get you want ur team to win, as do we all... but had they not squeaked 5 wins out we'd be embracing the tank/plan. At least give em a draft to fix a depleted roster before you start spewing fire the coach nonsense....
  3. Takes like this is what caused 17+ years. Ya gotta tear down and build. There's an actual plan. Reading this just shows how idiotic things have gotten w the fans. Today isn't great granted... but what kinda jacka calls for a coach to be fired. Put some ice in ur shorts and chill out
  4. Lol, did that really need to be called out??
  5. These guys didnt wake up one day and suddenly find themselves as the HC and GM of a football team. It sounds like they made an effort to upgrade and when TT took less- here we are. As bad as he looked the other day, at least he's capable of excitement. It's why he was refreshing and stood out in the 1st place and won that 1st battle with cassel and ej. Id rather TT than Hoyer, cassel, or whatever other dumpster diving qb was the alt had he not renegotiated. They know what they have here. This year was supposta be terrible. We got some bounces and it's turned out all right. Now things are evening out and TTs flaws are becoming apparent again. Too much knee jerk drama. It's not like these reports are exclusive content to TBD lol. They know what's up. When the tide turns no way TT is the man leading them. He might even be here next year as the starter for the 1st couple weeks if a rookie is waiting in the wings.. but we still have to play the season (s) to get to the payoff... and eventually playoffs
  6. Answer is simple then... Play Peterman and let him get his 'Edwards pre-AZ' out of his system. By that logic, at least they'll get to the playoffs before the book is out on him! Tyrod takes Tates job! Problem solved!;)
  7. This makes me think of when people thought EJ could be a changed man with his "going to let it rip" comment. What gets me, TT is human. He says he "doesnt listen to the crowd" but thats crap. How can you not? Im glad NP got an ovation yesterday if for no other reason than if they are insistent on keeping TT as the starter - maybe that opened his eyes. Maybe it knocked a thought loose and he considered "gee, maybe I ought to let it rip." We can make remarks like he doesn't get etc etc... But he's not stupid. Hopefully it's is he capable of making the necessary change. Yesterday was terrible and I'm ready for something new don't get me wrong - but let s not pretend TT has never thrown a pass linger than a check down. Again, if it's THIS obvious, I can't help but wonder why and wtf he was doing yesterday...
  8. Agreed - if for no other reason than it's something that they haven't done yet. At the very least one would hope they got the musical chairs approach out of their system. We as fans are partially to blame as well. I feel like years ago (and maybe it's also due to the change in media intensity) changes happened when the owner saw fit and it was what it was. It seems the longer this went on, the more influence from outside sources was taken into account to appease the fans. Some folks here were done with McBeane after the Jets game. 17 yrs sucks, but my god... Rome wasn't built in a day. Musical chairs gets viewed as a joke from a National perception. I am however glad this approach was taken after the realization (with the help of his own mouth) that Rex wasn't the solution.
  9. Garbage time/not garbage time. Peterman good/Peterman not good. Pointless arguing bc no one has the answer. What is clear however, is that FANS are ready for the 'anti-Tyrod' and in this case it happens to be a 5th rd draft pick named Nathan Peterman. Armchairing it, it's evident (some might say obvious) a qb who makes his drop (while making his read) and cuts it loose giving his guys a chance to make a play might also alleviate a stacked box. If we see it, and it's this painfully obvious ya gotta believe the staff is aware as well. Politics? Room divide? A rookie deemed not yet ready? Or maybe simply just not ready to pull the plug? All things we aren't privy to. Maybe they don't wanna ruin him... Maybe he isn't ready for an NFL defense. Maybe they view it as throwing in the towel and they still feel the vet gives them the best shot at a season. Maybe they feel if they give him the rope and more time TT will hang himself. Who knows... But we clamor bc he is, after all - the 'anti-tyrod'
  10. All we heard all week from McD was that theyve talked to him and hes watched all of KBs snaps to know what kind of a weapon he has at his disposal. Last week when romo was saying what TT SHOULD do with a guy 1 I'm 1 it was embarassing BUT he was a qb so it is what it is. This week when freaking Kenny Albert is pointing out what TT needs to do....it was just sad..
  11. Id be curious if TT getting benched would create a divide or relief behind closed doors. Benji is prob wondering what he got himself into. Maybe he talks to taylor and gets his mind set more ready to sling it!
  12. As often as we jump to knee jerk reactions, Id love to actually know where the fault lies here. Is it TTs refusal to get rid of the ball quick and as a result is stuck with a Check down? Is it Rico calling terrible plays that harness TT? Is it a perfect storm of HS play calling combined with TTs inability to run the play how it was envisioned? Either way, it feels and LOOKS very square peg, circle hole-ish. Personally, I think that TT has done some good things here and if for NO OTHER REASON will be given the rest of this year (until we are out) to try to do what he can. Peterman might be a better fit for this offense if for no other reason than hitting his drop and the ball coming out. He also seems to have no issues trying to sling it - which is why he gained a cult following in the preseason. Let's face it... it's not so much clamoring for Peterman as it is he seems to be the anti TT. Granted Peterman made his mark today in garbage time, but TT had essentially 2 qtr of garbage time and was unable to do anything. The man is too timid and it's maddening. Amazing, who woulda thought a guy will go up and make a play for you if he's not college open. Hopefully watching Peterman and hearing his ovation wakes something up inside TT and he comes out chucking the ball. If not, things could get EVEN MORE frustrating...
