  1. JOK sticking out like a sore thumb. I didn’t think he’d be there at 30. Is there an injury? id trade up and get some developmental CB, WR later on
  2. Are some of you seriously against trading up for JOK when you would have been happy with him in the first?
  3. Its a good pick and It’s not one of our needs
  4. @itaos did you just disagree with my statement that draft picks become rookies? @Bag of Milk you too? is there something I don’t know? Draft picks become rookies right? Am I losing my mind?
  5. This is going well so far. Safeties, DTs, and RB. Elijah Moore is the only pick I didn’t like for the Bills. There’s a lot of speed in the division now.
  6. What’s the cost? Other draft picks? You know those picks just become rookies
  7. Bears draft is best draft even if they don’t pick anyone else
  8. Teven Jenkins is best available. JOK a close second but not an every down player.
  9. I wanted Teven but I’m on record saying I would have taken DK Metcalf 1 overall so this is very out of character
  10. Damn Gregory said Calais Campbell when asked for a comparison to himself
  11. Rousseau fell out of my hopes before the pick because of mock drafts but he is a top 5 talent. We don’t get to interview these guys. his pro day wasn’t great but.. remember last year during the behind the scenes draft video Beane was very happy when Gabe Davis ran a slower 40. He trusted the tape and didn’t want another team to fall in love with the size/speed combo.
  12. Someone posted it on this board but he kept emphasizing instincts and length and the ability to push the o-line away and get to the QB. As opposed to straight line speed guys who get pressure and no results. Also mentioned strip sack ability
  13. did you hear the post draft beane presser? I wanted Oweh and the way beane described Rousseau was uncannily opposite of Oweh.
  14. aaand another thing I like JOK a lot but Rousseau has a similar floor if you consider future snap count. This was a true BPA-long-term-selection.
  15. according to beane’s post draft interview he knows how to get to the quarterback. Like a sixth sense and using his length to push the blocker and reach for the ball. Faster players can run fast but less results. it almost seemed like he was talking about Rousseau compared to Jason Oweh who went the pick after to the ravens. 4.36 40 and no sacks. Plenty of pressures but no sacks due to his eyes being on the blocker instead of the QB. I wanted Oweh recently but Rousseau was a pipe dream even three months ago
  16. Rumors they are trying to trade for deshaun. Hopefully they do then he gets in his head about all the rapes and loses his mojo
  17. this is great insight. I think McDermott and beane really value strength over speed for defensive ends. How the league is trending is quicker passes. That’s why everyone on this board was banging the table for Ed Oliver. You need pressure up the middle. If you loop around regardless of how fast, you’re too late usually. I do like Oweh, but three weeks ago I was hoping Rousseau would fall to us. I think both will be good and break the drought of late first round DEs panning out.
  18. Yeah it’s kinda crazy those two (Jenkins and JOK) are still there. I expect a few teams to try to trade up for them tomorrow.
  19. Oh god. Listen, I’m disappointed in motor too but running backs don’t matter unless they’re transcendent. And even then they make the play caller think it’s a good idea to run more.
  20. Which Williams? Or are you just pining for the days we had at least 3 rostered?
