  1. interesting. Who do you like in the 2nd 3rd range? I’d rather get a WR 5th or later with physical talent/speed to learn from our veterans on route running.
  2. for sure, we are entering Bills trade up watch zone. They may love one of those guys.
  3. I’m ecstatic with Darrisaw, Jenkins, JOK, Oweh, Farley, Paye, Newsome. There are others I’d be happy with but I didn’t expect any of the above to be available at 30
  4. I think LG or CB2 are the weakest positions on the team. If Teven Jenkins is there I would run to the podium. Landon Dickerson if the injury isn’t a concern. Edge would be nice but there aren’t any polished players and it’s already a crowded room this year. More of a future need unless we trade Addison post 6/1 to save 5mil. I like Ossai in the 2nd, maybe have to trade up for him. He has played LB and edge in college and ran 4.4 40 at pro day. For CB2 I’m ok waiting until the 2nd or even 3rd round for a guy with speed that can play man coverage at times to confuse opposing QBs. Take advantage of McDermotts specialty and get a guy with raw talent you can coach up. Ben St Juste or Ambry Thomas could be there in the 3rd you don’t think a G/T or G/C prospect could be an upgrade over Cody Ford?
  5. No you still don’t get it. You didn’t at first, which is fine, so I clarified that I didn’t mean ONE play proves anything significant. Then you still insisted that you understand by saying “Did that happen on every play? I doubt it?” Which is you somehow misunderstanding in a different way. So now you’ve misunderstood twice, but here you are tripling down on your lazy take. Here’s the bottom line: You looked at the stats and saw a zero for sacks and moved on. That’s fine since you don’t work as a scout, but people that are paid to look at the tape have him as a 1st round talent based on the tape. Another DE Gregory Rousseau had 15.5 sacks in 2019 then opted out. He’s ranked below Oweh at this point by most scouts because they aren’t being lazy and actually looked at both players’ tape. Oweh has issues that are seemingly easier to fix than Rousseau. since you’re so stuck on the one play thing. Why not watch some more plays. This was posted earlier in the thread: https://twitter.com/i/events/1383095364287401987?s=20
  6. So you claim to understand why I said what I said then immediately mischaracterize it for a second time? You’re the only lazy one in this conversation. looking at the stat line and seeing zero sacks then coming here and saying you’re concerned about it, is LAZY. That’s all you’ve done other than twist my words about the example I gave to show it’s possible to have a great play against a great opponent not show up on the stat sheet at all.
  7. Sacks don’t matter as much as you think. They’re similar to Ints for CBS. He had plenty of pressures, hurries and QB hits. Not to mention his run stopping was good as well. I was clearly talking about “a play” as a single example of when a DE can do everything right and not get the sack. Maybe that wasn’t as clear to you as it was to everyone else.
  8. This “helmet scouting” is even lazier than the no sack crowd.
  9. Depends what we gave up to move up. I like Oweh. The lack of sacks is a lazy analysis thrown around here. I saw a play where he immediately and violently pushed the Ohio State LT(1st round prospect for 2022) back into Fields, but the QB had a quick read and got the ball out before the sack could be collected. I think he will be a good to great player. The only issue I see is that he’s an older prospect so if he starts out slow he won’t have the age excuse Edmunds is still getting.
  10. https://overthecap.com/fifth-year-option-projections/ “One Pro Bowl: Players who are named to exactly one Pro Bowl on the original ballot (not as an alternate) will be eligible for a fifth year base salary equal to the transition tender at their position. Multiple Pro Bowls: Players who are named to two or three Pro Bowls on the original ballot (not as an alternate) will be eligible for a fifth year base salary equal to the franchise tender at their position. “ I believe Edmunds was an alternate one year and original ballot this past season.
  11. Incorrect. He was selected to one pro bowl. And played in another as an alternate which doesn’t count for these purposes. His 5th year option would be 12.7 million
  12. fair enough. I had him selected but before I hit submit I went to check I wasn’t crazy. He’s in the top 15 most mocks since the end of the season.
  13. Teven Jenkins is clear BPA. He just disappeared from the poll as I was about to vote for him. Could be played at guard to start then moved out to tackle down the line or due to injury.
  14. I’ll take Rams if still available
  15. I guess spotrac is incorrect. I assumed since 2022 wasn’t there that it has been correctly updated.
  16. I’m hoping and expecting Addison to be a post 6/1 cut depending how the draft falls. That would save $5.3 million. Hughes, Epenesa, Obada, 1st or 2nd round rookie, and Johnson is fine with me.
  17. This mock posted today has him falling to us in the 3rd https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/2021-nfl-mock-draft-weissman-6.0
  18. What’s the biggest reach so far? Coulda said that about Cody Ford v DK Metcalf a couple years ago. WR is still somehow underrated around here despite Diggs’ influence.
  19. They have that 1st round guy a couple years from Alabama as well. Jonah Williams I think. I guess he could play guard, but I would upgrade interior o line later in draft or FA.
  20. I like the first option even before you consider the burrow/chase connection.
  21. With the 37th pick in the TSW Mock Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Rashod Bateman WR, Minnesota the Cincinnati Bengals are on the clock @H2o Having just missed out on the top tier of WRs in round one, the Eagles get Bateman, who some consider just outside that first tier of three players, to help Jalen Hurts. He has potential to be a #1 receiver due to his size and route running. He even ran a sub-4.40 40 yard dash at the EXOS combine. The Eagles are thrilled he was still available with their second pick and believe they clearly got BPA in both rounds so far.
  22. With the 12th pick in the TSW Mock Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech The Los Angeles Chargers @TPS are on the clock. Farley is BPA if the medical checks out after his recent back surgery. I’m assuming that is the case here. Avonte Maddox had a disappointing season. The Eagles get Farley to pair with Slay. They still get an elite prospect after trading down as many had Farley ranked as CB #1 in this class before the news of his surgery.
