  1. I guess I'm confused what you're upset about then. You said you were unhappy about the Yanks before coming on this board. And Judge is great, but losing Soto and acquiring Bellinger and Goldschmidt is not equivalent. The difference this year COULD have been pitching, but they are screwed without Cole and Gil. Cashman all but admitted as much yesterday.
  2. Take a deep breath man, at least as far as the Bills go. They will be fine. I'm a die hard Yanks fan too, and that situation is waaaaaaay more dire. Their season is effectively over before it even began.
  3. Dane has played solid when called upon. We should and need to do better before the season, but no one should have a problem with this signing
  4. I think Beane is clearly an above average GM. But he also does not deserve the "wizard" and "BBB" monikers that some people bestow on him. He is in the 8-12 range imo
  5. Not sure I'd be looking to Houston for oline help. He must be terrible to have been a backup there
  6. This is going to be a fun thread to revisit in August
  7. Codrington is better. Shenault has virtually zero chance of making the team imo
  8. He's not. Switches teams every year it seems. Dude was way overdrafted
  9. I have been on record stating Dolac is well worth at least a 5th round pick, and these results are certainly going to improve his stock. The guy can flat out ball and deserves to be drafted
  10. The comments from the tweet in the OP seem positive. Forrest apparently played well as a starter in 2022 (88 tackles, 4 picks) before falling out of favor due to scheme change after Rivera left. Still young at 25
  11. Meh he's no Eli Ankou
  12. Sure. Doesn't mean it's not a good upside gamble for the Bills
  13. I mean sure it is a gamble per se, but when you look at the Bills predicament it is impossible for me to disapprove. A one year deal for a guy with the highest upside on the market, and if it doesn't work the Bills are not hamstrung long term. If it fails we're in the same place we were before. And none of this precludes us from drafting another edge in the first 3 rounds
  14. For those who disapprove, who on the market would be better in your estimation, outside of trading for Hendrickson which is probably not even a realistic possibility?
  15. I like it. May not work because of injuries, but can't hate on a 1 year deal for a guy with his talent. It's easy to forget Bosa is only 29
  16. Gardner Johnson is inconsistent, but he did have 6 picks last year. Nothing to sneeze at
  17. If anyone can, it would be the Eagles
  18. S CJ Gardner-Johnson for G Kenyon Green straight up. Can't say I understand this one from an Eagles perspective. Green has been one of the worst offensive lineman in football
  19. I like it a lot. Palmer just makes plays period every time I've watched him. Still just 25 as well
  20. There will be ripple effects among players who were already angling for more money. The Metcalf contract is laughable imo and sure to stir up some drama. Look at the Bengals alone - both Chase and Higgins are far superior players and now this contract is thrown into the pot.
  21. Maybe. But that's not a very compelling reason
  22. DK Metcalf is not a #1 wide receiver and never has been. He is a bit of a one trick pony. I don't think that either of these points are arguable. Not understanding why I should be upset about not trading a second and ponying up 30 million a year for someone of his caliber.
  23. Awful trade by the now consistently mediocre Pittsburgh Steelers. Metcalf is not close to being worth that money
  24. I can just imagine the number of 3 yard passes he would catch in this offense. 108 catches for 632 yards
