  1. Ok starting RBs in the past USED to get over 300 carries a season. My bad. The point is, he is severely underutilized. His carries to Jamaal Williams should be more of like 17 or 18 carries a game with Jamaal as a backup getting maybe around 6 or 7 tops. And he should be getting targeted more in the passing game. He is not gettinf the touches he should. The GB backfield is literally identical to how the Rams treat Henderson and Malcolm Brown. Although, unlike those two guys in LA, Jones is clearly the better back of the two in GB. I'm not the only one who talks about how underused he is. There are articles all over the internet from people who will say the same thing. There isn't a game in New Orleans where you will see only Latavius Murray out there for every play of a drive and no Kamara at all. That's the point I'm trying to make
  2. Most starting RBs get over 300 carries a season easily. I watch Packers games and he splits carries with Jamaal Williams. There are multiple drives a game where Williams is in and doesn't come out at all. He is way underutilized. He should be used like a McCaffery, Elliott, Kamara and all those guys. He doesn't get enough touches. Plain and simple. He should be getting just carries wise at least 15 to 20 carries a game. He is lucky to get that in just touches
  3. Most RBs have 450 touches a season. If you watched GB games you would see he is severely underused in that offense. He averages about 15 touches a game. He should be getting 25 carries alone and he's not
  4. Jones is clearly the better player when he plays. Williams shouldn't be playing at the same level because he shouldn't be getting as many opportunities as he is. Jones should be getting 25 carries a game in that backfield
  5. Yeah, his ability to play out wide in 4 or 5 WR sets is something that most other RBs can't do. Which is all the more reason why I would love to have him here
  6. I agree with everything you said as far as him being a multi dimensional weapon but how many RBs are making that kind of money in the league right now? I think Elliott's deal was $96 million for 6 years which averages out to $16 million a season and Elliott is pretty decent out of the backfield. Kamara's contract extension was 5 years at $75 million but I honestly can't see any team paying Jones more than $40 to $50 million on a 4 to 5 year deal.
  7. He is underutilized. He averages 10 to 12 carries a game and barely gets thrown to anymore like he did last year. If you watch a Green Bay game they will have Jamaal Williams on the field for an entire 95 yard drive at times. If the Packers stopped having such a hard on for Jamaal Williams, Jones would get 25 carries a game like he should be
  8. That's because of Matt LaFleur. Not because of Jones
  9. I don't think it will cost $15 million a year to get Jones. That's Ezekiel Elliot money. He's not Ezekiel Elliot but he's very good. I honestly don't think any team will pay him that. I'm thinking more in possibly the $8 to $9 million dollar range on a 4 year deal for him. This offense is a RB away from being exactly where it needs to be
  10. He's a 2021 free agent, severely underused in Green Bay, an excellent receiver out of the backfield with good hands and needs to have a lead back role. Just turned 26 on Dec 2nd so we can get a solid 4 years out of him at least. He has more rushing TDs than any other RB the last 2 seasons. There is absolutely no way that I can see this guy choosing to resign in GB. He would be stupid to do that. Granted, Moss and Singletary are here. I like both but I'd rather have Aaron Jones over Singletary. I also wouldn't mind sets with two of our backs on the field at the same time. I read an article of the top 5 places for him next year and all of the Patriots, Dolphins and Jets were on the list. I'd rather not have him in the division unless it's in our backfield. What does everyone think? I would love the idea of Aaron Jones being here
  11. Can someone tell me how to change the title?
  12. Gotta be the all reds for Sunday Night Football next week I would think
  13. Ahhhh, Beth Mowins season. The best time of the year
  14. I feel like if they ever had Dick Jauron mic'd up when he was here that anytime we did something bad he would go up to the players and say "it's ok, don't worry about it. It's tough to win in this league" lol
  15. Too bad that Candlestick is no longer around. It would have been sweet to play this one game there
  16. I know the game isn't always fair and I do think a batted pass should be a pick because that's what it is. I also agree that a QB should be able to throw a ball 30 yards down the field but having to throw it that far to avoid an intentional grounding penalty seems little ridiculous to me. Especially since most times if the QB is that far back he probably has a ton of guys chasing him or in his face. Can't really expect him to get it to the line of scrimmage 30 yards up the field. Just seems dumb to me
  17. I get that but it's not the QB doing that. It's the center firing it over his head and him running backwards to make sure the other team doesn't recover it. It's not the QBs fault. He should be able to just pick it up and toss it out of bounds and have it be an incomplete pass
  18. So if a ball goes over his head and rolls 30 yards backwards before the QB picks it up, he has to fire it 30 or 35 yards down the field to not get intentional grounding? Is he supposed to just take a 30 yard loss? That's stupid
  19. How big is the pocket? The ball went past Wentz and he picked it up around 15 yards behind the line and then ran back another 5 or 10 yards and then launched it. Does the pocket go 50 yards back?
  20. 1:00 games constantly week in and week out become boring. It's nice to be in the national spotlight for the biggest game of the week instead of watching the Cowboys on primetime 5 times a year. So you have to stay up later one or two times a year, why is that a big deal. Who cares? I get up at 7am every morning and am fine with it. It's rare for us. I enjoy it
  21. I am worried about the Browns run game but that's all they really have. I'm not worried about Baker at all. If we can focus our game completely on stopping the run and succeed then we will win that game, hands down. Tannehill, while not great, scares me more than Baker does. I also am more afraid of AJ Brown over any WR on that Browns team. Also, having Derrick Henry in the backfield is scary as well. I feel you can stop the run of the Browns and beat them. The Titans, I don't think you can necessarily do the same thing
  22. Yes, but if you can gain momentum by playing a favorable matchup in round 1, I would much rather have the best matchup possible to start it off
  23. For me I want no part of playing the Titans in the first round. That's a scary team and very physical. I also don't wanna play the Raiders in the first round either. Both teams are gonna be tough outs in the playoffs The two I do wanna play are the Browns or the Dolphins. I feel we can definitely handle either one of these teams and would allow us good momentum for the next round
