I guess I may be missing what you are all feeling because had three more receptions that were dropped haopen

had Kincaid scored on that long pass

    “bills offense is on fire”

but instead we can’t appreciate the patriots defense has been fire 🔥 the last month for whatever reason

Another drop I forgot was Diggs

It's not just yesterday's game that the offense has looked off. Outside of a couple of weeks at the beginning of the season and the first 2 weeks of Brady as OC they haven't been that great for most of the season. In 10 of 16 games they struggled to get to 24 points. Even in the Dallas game the passing offense was pretty much MIA.

These insanely dumb statements need to stop. The dolphins just lost by 40. Baltimore looks good, but we have all seen Lamar in the playoffs. I like how you just casually glance over the 4 turnovers, that’s cool. Get the win that’s all that matters. Everything after that is your own insecurities

We've all seen the Bills do Billsy things in the playoffs. This team is not that good. The offense has looked awful the last 2 weeks. They aren't all of a sudden going to flick a switch and start putting up over 30 points a game.

So this thread is a perfect example of over analyzing everything the Bills do/don’t do and just looking at scores and records of other teams. Flacco, nice story but look who they have played. He has more than half of the turnovers Josh had and has only played 5 games. Good defense, no doubt, but they did give up 17 in the first half to the Jets the other night (yes they only gave up 3 after the half)

Dolphins finally beat a team with a winning record. I don’t think that defense is anywhere near as good as they have shown lately (again, look who they have played, specifically the QBs they have played)

I get it, we are all Bills fans so naturally we are more invested in them. If you look objectively at the other teams, there’s not a team that should scare you-outside of the Bills having a letdown

Same can be said for the Bills as far as over-analyzing Yeah they are winning but outside of the Dallas game they haven't played that great.  They barely beat both KC and LA.

In their 2nd game against Cleveland the Ravens lost in large part due to Jackson who threw 2 INT's including a backbreaking pick 6.  In their 17 - 10 loss to the Steeler's Jackson threw an INT, was tackled for a safety and lost a fumble without scoring a single TD himself.  The Ravens were shut out in the 2nd half. So yea Jackson has had some clunkers that led directly to losses to.

At the end of the day team record plays a part in MVP voting.  Regardless of Lamar having a few bad games, Baltimore will probably finish first in the AFC.

Had the Bills not had to scratch and claw to make the playoffs things might be different.

Things are falling in line for the Bills.  EVERYONE is beatable including Ravens and 49ers.  They can do it!

I don't get it. While other teams may be beatable, the same can be said for the Bills. They are very inconsistent this season.  While they have won 3 in a row, the only game they looked dominant in was against the Cowboys.

Except , he's never won offensive player of the year or MVP.. and this is his fourth straight 40 touchdown season

He should be the FrontRunner right now with his 40 touchdowns.. but for some reason he's like the third or fourth choice

There is 2 things that work against him. One being the amount of INTs and Buffalo's record.

The AFC/NFC dichotomy is so weird this year. I think it's a lot harder to make it into the playoffs in the AFC, but once you're in it's an easier path to the Super Bowl. And for the NFC it's the exact opposite.

I disagree. Baltimore is easily the class of the AFC followed by Cleveland. Everyone else is very inconsistent one week to the next. We are looking at a Ravens/49ers Super Bowl.

If we can’t beat Miami in Week 18, what makes you think we can beat them the literal following week?

We either have the horses or we don’t.

Miami 1-7 against teams with a winning record in the past 450 days. If we can’t beat them with the division on the line, we don’t deserve the playoffs.

I don't think they go that far this season even if they make the playoffs. The offense is too inconsistent

OP apparently is a person that refuses to admit luck plays a much larger part in wins, losses and teams making the playoffs than one would like to admit.

For playoffs yes luck plays a big part. As far as winning a Super Bowl, the best teams for the most part end up in the game. The Giants winning as a 9-7 or wildcard team is rare.

@Successwhat's your issue? This team is not as good as many think they are. Truth hurts.

That way overstates.  The 49ers and Panthers aren't where they are because of luck.   The better teams win more games.  The Bills just haven't been the better team for many games.

So far the only teams that look good consistently are Baltimore, San Francisco and Cleveland.

The Bills defense has been good but their offense is very inconsistent from game to game.

Only the 49ers look like a championship team right now. So, what do you have to say about all the other teams that will be in the playoffs? Do all the same apply to them as it does the Bills? They don't look championship caliber?

Baltimore looks like a championship caliber team in the AFC right now.

KC has one of the best defenses in the NFL.  If you think an offense must score 30 every week against even the best defenses then you are delusional in your expectations.

We went into KC against what was then the number 1 seed in the AFC, with the best QB and one of the best defenses in one of the toughest places to play and win a tough close game and scored 20…and somehow that’s not good enough for you?  LMAO, that’s just absurd.

Not if they are an AFC championship team.

This is an absurd take.  This is a prime example of someone just whining to whine and manipulate info to confirm their bias.  You are lumping in Dorsey led offense with Brady led offense and they are not the same, but you’re doing it to exaggerate your bias.

The first 2 weeks when Brady took over they looked good. Since then they haven't looked that much better than when Dorsey was in charge. They struggled to score against KC and again last night.

THIS ISNT COLLEGE FOOTBALL where Ohio state, Michigan and Alabama can just coast all year long and drop 50 points on every team. These are NFL teams. The best of the best

It's not about style points. This team hasn't scored more than 24 points in 9 of 15 games. The offense relies way too much on the big play to score.

I was just giving you a tough time. You’re not wrong.  This team isn’t exactly trustworthy, but I’m in the just get into the playoffs and figure it out mode.

If the bills can win 5 straight, (including Dallas, kc, and the phins) going into the playoffs, they’ll finally be trending upwards at the right time.  Whatever happens happens.

I'm not so sure they figure it out. The offense has looked very vanilla all season. They last few weeks they have become a run first team that throws the deep ball. Where has the underneath passes gone or the throws across the middle gone.

You scared of being successful bro?  You scared?!?!?!

Not at all. Just tempering my expectations on this being a Super Bowl or AFC championship team.  They have way too many average games for them to be considered a top team.

There isn’t a single team in this league that hasn’t had flat games.  The 49ers lost three in a row.

My concerns coming out of last nights game are this

-Cook dropped a pass or fumbled in each of the last 4 games that either led to a turnover or missed TD.  As great as he’s been, that’s a problem

-Josh is under throwing a lot of deep balls and had some short throw accuracy issues as well.   It’s not normal for him and I don’t know what’s up

-Diggs is not Diggs most of the game.
-There’s at least one ST blunder per game it seems.

All of those are going to cost us a game we need, and I’m worried when it’s going to happen next.

Yes all teams have had flat games this season. The  difference is Bills have struggled to top 24 points in 9 out of 15 games.

The way they played last night. If that was a good team the bills lose. If they had Herbert, Allen, Williams, bosa, day, a head coach, the bills don’t win with even two or three of those guys playing.

The problem for me is when is the so so bills team last night going to start playing like the great team we know they are? even if they make the playoffs a performance like that and they are one and done! I’m thinking of the playoffs, not last night!

For the most part this is the way they have played more often than not. Maybe they aren't that great team that everyone thinks they are. IMO Baltimore right now is the only AFC team that's played consistently for most of the season. Everyone else is average at best.
