Just managed to watch the game.

I think that game is a perfect summary of the season….

Great football team that causes their own struggles. It’s amazing looking back at the TO margins in previous losses how similar the game was.

    Bills just too good.

It’ll be said time and time again; need to eliminate these ASAP.

This team is definitely a SB contender and quite possibly the best team in the AFC going into these playoffs.

Disagree. This is an average team this season. This offense isn't the same as last seasons. They have too many drives that they don't do anything on. Other than running the ball more under Brady, this offense hasn't changed from Dorsey's.

They either hand-off to Cook or look for the deep throw down the sidelines. Where's the underneath stuff or throws to the RB? They are very predictable.

Not understanding that when you have nothing you can actually prepare for and have to adjust to everything on the fly and not knowing anything tendency wise is actually important is kinda shocking but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.  The football IQ on these boards can be surprisingly low sadly.

I can understand having issues on defense due to having no film on their offense. With the talent they supposedly have on offense and the Chargers missing talen on defense, they should have been able to put up more points and not have so many drives stall.

Yeah it was just turnovers that made it look like their offense did anything.

13 of their 22 points were off turnovers.

What I hear is a bunch of Dick Jauron's in this thread. "It's hard to win in this league* 🙄

While they won their offense still has too many drives that do nothing. This team is not Super Bowl team or @Alphadawg7 an AFC championship team. They go a 2 week offensive bump with Brady and it's back to what they've looked like most of the season. Only difference is they run more.

Again, For those in the back:

Capitalism in it’s text book form does not exist.

The forms it does exist in, including the American Version are corrupted by the power that wealth it eventually endows the holder with.

Everyone wants to blame the politicians solely. Clearly they are( mostly) feckless little tw@ts who enrich themselves while making short term, empty promises. However, the non politicians with the money are the ones driving the system. Pick your person or conglomerate , Bezos, Musk, OPEC, The big banks….. The NFL

But, I assume you knew that😉

I don't blame the NFL at all. In 10 years my bet is the only way to watch games will be streaming. It's already starting with the Thursday game. Just think you will eventually have to subscribe to Peacock, Amazon and ESPN+ to watch any football.

I think putting games on streaming services only is stupid of the nfl. But I also remember the days of blackouts where you couldn't watch a game if it wasn't sold out by 4pm on Thursday. So Ya, I'll pay 5.99 to watch the bills this Saturday

I can see why they do it as it's the future of TV. OTA is heading to a thing of the past. They aren't getting the money from advertising like they used to

If they lose to a Chargers team without a QB or Head Coach, or get swept by a New England team with a backup QB and lame duck Head Coach, then we don’t deserve the playoffs.

Its honestly that simple in my opinion.

A true playoff team, this deep in the season, should crush both of those squads.

Bills don’t need the Bengals & Texans to stumble.

Why is everyone making this so hard?

If ANY of these teams lose 1 of their next 3 games, and Bills win out, we are in:

    JAX, CIN, HOU.

    Any of them.

There is also no guarantee they win out either.

Hardest schedules on paper remaining appear to be:

    Dolphins

    Bengals

    Texans (especially w/o Stroud)

Bills could win the East (Phins loose 1 of next 2 & Bills win out)

    or

possibly sneak in as 7 seed (Bengals & Texans stumble & Bills win out)

You're forgetting about Denver as team fighting for the last spot. They have the easiest schedule left and can win their last 3 games.

I hate the guy and I don't know that he is better than McD, but I can't deny he is a good coach.

I don't get the hate other than he played for the Pats. Same goes with the hate of the Dolphins. There is no rivalry there right now. Unless you were a fan from the Kelly days, their really hasn't been meaningful games other than the one playoff game last season

If we win today I think we will.  I don't think we lose any of the rest of our schedule.  Today is going to be tough though.  What kills me is all the people that still think this team has a great shot to get a WC if we lose today because NYT odds.  I don't get those odds at all.  Sure, you can find a wc in the simulator at 10-7 but in those scenarios, any one of 3 or 4 games goes the other way and we are out.  That doesn't seem like good odds to me.

I don't see them winning today. Their offense is still that much better than it was under Dorsey. They still only scored 20 points last week and didn't make any adjustments after half time.  I think they will have a let down game somewhere in the next 3

Yeah, they’ve got KC and Cleveland and another difficult team

They aren't the team to worry about. Denver has an easy schedule left and will probably win their last 3, Cleveland has an easy schedule too. IMO it comes down to Indy and the Bills for the last spot.

Yeah this is true.  Equally important was the Denver loss last night that also made this possible

11-6 only happens if they win out. I don't see it. I don't get it. All these other teams the Bills are chasing are going to lose more than they win, yet the Bills are going to win 5 straight.

Its amazing how there are still people that think 10-7 is a sure in but can't post a reasonable scenario or even argue against the scenario I posted.  It's like they don't even look at a simulator at all and just trust some 53% vegas like odds or past history of 10 win teams making it.  This is not those years. Those years didn't have a 6 way tie for spots plus a team 1 game ahead and a team 1 game behind this late in the season.

IMO many seem to look at the NY Times one and just look at percentages. I use the ESPN one and it'such better. It also gives you an idea of each teams schedule. That's the big thing. All the teams ahead of the Bills have easy schedules.

Who cares about the Jags winning the division vs Houston? Jags are going to lose this weekend, and then if they go 1-2 the remaining games they will miss the playoffs altogether.

Unlikely that happens with their schedule. It's funny how many say the Bills will win out yet all these other teams are only going to win 1 game left.

The Raiders are gonna do us a solid... they have their swag back and the light went on for the rookie QB.  I think they will beat Indy and Denver..and will not lay down like dogs for Kansas City.  That will a fun game for the Silver and Black on Christmas Day.

I hear you...but the emotional playoff losses to KC have left a Larger chip on the Bills' shoulders.  So that will more than counteract the Kansas City regular season loss revenge angle.  Outside the 1st Qtr, I don't think the Bills played all that well last Sunday.  We all know they can play much better than that.

I don't think they beat Indy. Raiders aren't good on the road.

I just did the playoff machine and here is my final standings

     Bal

    KC

    Miami

    Jacksonville

    Indy

    Cleveland

    Cincinnati

Texans are probably going to lose at least 2 more games so that takes them out of the wildcard race.

    Steelers are done.

Bengals unfortunately are very much in it. I think they will beat Vikings and Steelers, so they would need to lose the last two against Chiefs and Browns to get them to 9-8.

Browns are not losing 3 out of their last 4 so might as well root for them to win out.

Colts have a very easy finish - Falcons, Steelers, Raiders, Texans. I think they'll go 3-1 and make a wildcard spot. I wouldn't be shocked to see them steal the division and push Jags to a wildcard spot.

Unfortunately the Broncos have a very easy finish too. Lions, Pats, Chargers, Raiders. 3-1 is my guess so they're in.

Our 10-7 wildcard chances depend on 2 of the Broncos, Bengals, or Colts losing a game they should win. Taking the division is our best bet, even at 10-7 because I think the Dolphins losing 2 of their next 3 is more likely than one of the presumed wildcard teams slipping up.

Most realistic path IMO is we lose to Cowboys but win out the rest of the way, and Dolphins lose 2 of Jets/Cowboys/Ravens.

I've been saying that for awhile. 10-7 will not get the Bills in the playoffs unless it's the division.
