Whats there to be depressed about. The Sabres are in a playoff spot and are fun to watch.
-
Having a top ranked defense doesn't mean much in the NFL anymore. Only 4 of the top 10 are in the playoffs. The Chargers and the Bears are the only 2 with 10 wins or more.

2 BS teams. Might as well tie and put the Steelers in.
Whats BS about either team?

The way Allen played today is the way the Bills should build their offense. He is not a prolific passer and never will be Let him play like Jackson does for Baltimore. He may only be a couple year wonder but atleast he will be exciting.
-
The way he played today is the way they should build the offense around him. Stop making him be a pocket passer. He is at his best when he runs around and is running the ball. He is never going to be a Tom Brady or Drew Brees. Nothing wrong with him playing like Vick or RG3 as that is his strength.
-
IMO they should stop trying to make him a pocket passer as its something he is not. The best games he has played is the ones he ran the ball a lot with some passes thrown in.

Well, at least you have half a brain.
Once again you offer very little to the thread as you once said to me.

A lot of Bills fans have fallen into a pit of thinking lousy football is the only thing out there, not their fault after 20 years of this
Bills/Lions wasn’t even a warmup game for a JV contest
A lot of that has to do with Bills fans mostly watching Bills games and not many other games each week. Judging by the sunday night game thread a lot of Bills fans are missing out on good football being played each week.

The Ref with Dennis Leary is one of the best ones.

This is a game I want the Bills to win very badly.
It’s the first time I felt this way all season.
Which means the Bills will an egg against a hated rival
?
Lets hope I’m wrong.
Its only a rivalry in fans minds now. IMO that rivalry has been dead for years now as neither team has been that good.

I wonder how many who favor a downtown stadium spend much time each week tailgating.
There will still be tailgating but it will most likely in lots owned by the Bills. It will cut out a lot of the stupidity that goes on in the private lots.

I agree to you to an extent. However, love of the Sabres has really tested that idea for me. They were so bad the last 5-7 years, my love of hockey was hangning by a thread the last two seasons. As much as I love the game, when it is played well, really bad hockey is not easy to watch. Sometimes, its' flukiness bothers me...but it is a great game.
I can understand not watching the team when they are bad. Overall hockey is a great sport and its a shame more Americans don't like it.

He will get there it takes time . He had a lot of great throws today and some were dropped. I only saw a couple of bad passes.
We don't need to be a throw first team, balance is always best.
Balance is not necessarily best. Look at the top teams in the league. They throw first most of the time. Being a run first team doesn't win much in this league anymore.

Your the same guy in another thread that said Americans aren't smart enough to like hockey. So why are u here on USA football board that also likes and follows a NHL team in the same market? I smell troll
I have been a Sabres fan since the days that Hartford had team. My first game was a 9 goal win against Hartford at the AUD. That thread about Americans not liking hockey was more towards the southern US sports fan. Buffalo had always supported their teams. Its more that in Canada where I live most live and breath hockey. I find it hard to understand why most Americans have it so far down their list of sports.
-
No I was more nervous for the Sabres in winning their 9th straight.

Not all hockey fans are football fans and vice versa. Why is it important to you? The city is going nuts over the Sabres.
Its always bothered me cause even when the Sabres do well all most on tv or radio for the most part want to talk about is the Bills. I like football, I just don't understand the obsession over a team that has been bad more then good.

Un-friggin-believable. Again.
No, some of us are capable of two conversations.
Yeah some of you are. How many more wins will it take for most people in Buffalo to take notice. All I am saying is that people need to start paying more attention to a winning team.
-
9 straight wins and everyone in Buffalo wants to talk about a rookie QB on a team thats 3 and 7.

One thing I have noticed about all them but hockey. They are all slow paced.

Why else do most Americans not watch it. IMO hockey is the best sport there is. It has speed, hard hits and fights. Whats not to like.

I struck a nerve cause hard hitting defense and pounding the rock is a thing of the past.

They lost the NHL to NBC and NBCSN, after that they didn't care.
That and most Americans don't like hockey as its too fast and too complicated for them.

Maybe for you old school fans beating Miami means a lot but IMO its only a rivalry when both teams are good.
